There is some very strange organized voting going on in Alabama, as they have voted for the Doak Walker Award more than any other state.

Make sure to rank Gerhart first in the newest rank 'em poll! He's trailing McCoy, but I still voted McCoy second and Ingram last. Let's keep voting for Gerhart!

http://espn.go.com/sportsnation/rank?versionId=15&listId=363#topOfList

And here's the original Heisman vote. I know Suh is leading, but Gerhart has gotten lots of votes in the last two weeks (20,000 or so). So it's not impossible! But yes, fortunately it is only one vote out of 900 or so!

Ughhh, all the liberal schmucks up here in the Northeast are still voting Ingram over Gerhart.

Yeah I noticed that too. That map is a pretty good breakdown of America. Of course the Pac 10 states voted Pac 10, a heavy White presence in the midwest and upper United States probably helped Toby get votes. SEC states voted SEC and also have large black populations which undoubtedly helped Ingram, but even a couple of them are not blowouts and are pretty close. Then you have the New England States who don't have a dog in the fight up there voting for Ingram for seemingly no other reason than it is crazy cultural Marxist land. Edited by: Bear Backer

Good observations, BB.

I just noticed today my state went blue for Toby in this poll, 44% to 42%

Not surprisingly the most socialist state, Vermont, has Ingram with an overwhelming lead.

Vermont has had 27 votes cast, hahaha, hardly a decisive state. RI voted blue!

(they should make colors black and white, heh)

go Toby!

Is CJ Spiller an independent?

Yes this does look like an election board. Toby seems to be carrying the populous states less Florida. Maybe its more hanging chads....

Wyoming is now gray and trending toward Toby! It was the last western Ingram state.

haha, it is quite funny to watch the states grow blue(er).

i liked these comments:

Keenan is Fat (Today at 4:43 AM)
Report Violation I am so tired of everybody talking about how good the SEC is. They have 4 teams ranked in the top 25. The Pac-10 has five. Now im not saying that the Pac 10 is better than the SEC but they are pretty close.

Report Violation Tony I was solidly in Ingram's corner until this speeding Locomotive named Toby Gerhart crashed the party collecting TD after TD. I don't know if he can translate his success into the NFL but if so he could be the second coming of one of the last great FB's who could actually run named Larry Csonka or even with better speed a Chuck Muncie. That's exciting to see a FB actually run the ball again in the NFL. At 6' 1" 240 lbs he has the size and speed. He's a Senior and a great story. Give him the Award.

I am also quite sure that in addition to good White presences in the midwestern states, probably a lot of their voting for Toby had to do with the Big 12 and them being sick of the SEC "Worlds Greatest Athletes" Conference or the "Sayonara European Cuacasions" conference like Backrow posted. The SEC has been jammed down everyone's throats as the premier conference in college football for a long time now. Edited by: Bear Backer

Toby Gerhart now leads the Doak Walker poll 44% to 41% over Ingram. Massachusetts and Connecticut have turned gray, and will likely go for Toby within the next day. Good stuff!

Who ultimately decides the Heisman, coaches and players or just fans? Or a combination of both?

The Heisman is decided by a group of sports writers and athletes who have won it. Maybe a few coaches too, I'm not sure about that.

Don't forget Caste Football is entitled one vote (if we keep voting for Toby in the Nissan Heisman vote!).

Don, can we get the Heisman vote put on the front page of Caste Football? Or would ESPN come down hard if that was the case?

Thx Reb thats what I thought. Ingram needs to have a crummy game and Tim and McCoy must have rather ordinary games by their standards for Toby to win.

No matter, it is going to be great see three great white men as finalist come award time. The traitor whites and affelets have heartburn over this I am sure.

Haha yes a nightmare scenario as one of our CF members pointed out for ESPN. They might be worried that minority viewership will go down for this one. It will be funny to see all the black Heisman winners from the 70s, 80s, and 90s watch three white finalists, all of which have significant rushing stats. I wonder if McCoy, Tebow, and Gerhart are indeed the finalists (NO EXUSE for this not to happen). Will some of the black winners boycott this one???

I dont think Ingram will have a big game, he has an injury which he is going to play through and Floridas defense is pretty good. Unfortunately a guy that could be key in slowing down Ingram, Carlos Dunlap is suspended for a DUI. I would much rather have Dunlap in even if he is an idiot. It's funny because i never thought i would want a black guy with off the field problems to not be suspended.

Haha yeah sometimes you have to find odd bedfellows in Caste World, like cheering for Auburn's black hole of a defense to stuff Ingram last week!

If Gerhart wins, anybody interested in making a movie with me? We'll call it "The Fast Lane" and it'll be about the trials and tribulations of a white man in a black man's world. It'll show how Toby Gerhart was the first white running back to win the heisman....in a very long time. Dennis Quaid will play the part of the Stanford Coach.Edited by: Taco

Who is going to star as Toby? Misguided dweeb Matt Damon or less of a dweeb Owen Wilson?
