A sure sign attendance is down, Sanderson Farms said their chicken wings sales were down 14% from this time last year. Shares of their stock felled 13 % in one day. They said it was due to the protest by the players.

I posted a poll on GAB 5 days ago asking people if they'd watch more NFL games if there were more White Men in The League? I followed it up by saying for decades whites make up only 20% of the league.

In total 17 people voted with 53% saying YES and 1 PERHAPS. It went about as expected. ONE guy commented saying he would watch more because of less kneeling, less socialist BS(Krapernick Castro Tshirt).

A Black Dominican commented saying doesn't matter race, best players play. Blah blah heard that 1000 times! But he's entitled to his opinion so I'll take that, Not bad for negative feedback.

This year's NFL playoffs haven't made easy watching for the big media owners of sports television rights. Last weekend's divisional games followed the same dismal pattern as the season, with viewership declines across the board -- some of them pretty spectacular:

This is one of the few times I will give Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk credit. He did warn about it when the ratings were down in the beginning of the season. While he like everyone else thought the election caused the drop last season due to it stabilizing after the election, he pointed out that there is no election this year. So that there are real problems the NFL needs to worry about. He didn't know the exact reason for the drop at the time but that the NFL needed to find out and fast.

Personally, I think these over the top celebrations detract from the game.

I don't mind them and I don't think fans mind it as much as people say. I just think the illusion has been broken. I think fans now realize that the players hate them and are pretty much leaving in droves. It will take a while but the NFL will be talked about a thing in the past.

Aside from the modern NBA and SEC football, there's never been a situation where the fans of a league and the players in the league have so little in common with one another as with the modern NFL.

A record number of underclassmen have declared for the draft - 106 total. No doubt that the large numbers of underclassmen declaring have for the most part diluted the NFL talent pool which has put an increasingly shoddy product on the field which has also contributed to the NFLs decline (along with the flag protests etc.). If the NFL were serious at all about improving the product they would either get rid of the underclassmen declaring all together, not allow for any player who has not graduated to declare for the draft (if they truly are student athletes they could get the degree in 3 years instead of four) and/or set a minimum age for draft eligibility (22 for example).

Children love celebrations I remember the first team that had choreographed celebrations were the Redskins team of the early 80's. The "Fun Bunch" were a collection of undersized Black receivers and running backs(mostly receivers as Riggins scored the bulk of the ground touchdowns). Some things just happen, look at NASCAR back a decade ago they couldn't expand seating fast enough, now the owner of Charlotte motor speedway calls it "right sizing" the removal of seating sections. Me being a long time fan didn't think much of the newcomers or the blather around them and would be satisfied if it went back to 1980s level of popularity.

The NFL has itself attracted a moron contingent as well, it used be dudes who spoke dude language and wanted to do dude stuff, see the movie "Invincible", now it has attracted a gaggle of political activists, feminist shysterism and crazy black antics in a world that really has no more freeboard for them, hell even the Gen X fatboys in their jerseys talk like **** these days.

In short the NFL is not cool anymore, not even the Rock can save that reputation with his try hard HBO series. (I'll bet it is dropped soon)
