If it happens...he’d be the first white WR to win the award since Belitnikoff in Super Bowl 11 back in 1977!

And the first white non-QB since John Riggins in 1983. It's been a long time coming, I hope it comes through.

Didn't Deion Branch win it instead of Brady back in '02 or '03? One of the more ridiculous Caste awards. . .

I also feel the Rams will be back again as contenders with Kupp. Hopefully they get some palefaces for that defense as well.

Pretty ironic how both the college championship and Super Bowl are both one by big, strong, tall armed white athletes while everyone keeps stating that the position is changing. It wasn't an overly enjoyable season but the outcome with the Patriots winning is always great.

Brady’s top 3 receivers were Edelman (140 yards), Gronk (87 yards) and Burkhead (15 yards). Burkhead added 45 rushing yards. Nice!

The last time a White WR was MVP was the only Super Bowl I didn't watch. An ice storm knocked out power about midway through the first quarter. It HAS to be Edelman.

And congratulations to John Simon, Gostkowski, Ryan Allen and whoever their longsnapper is!
Congratulations to Brady, Edelman, Burkhead, Gronk, Hogan, Develin and the offensive lineman. It’s a pleasure to watch this offense.

Nate Burleson stating the obvious on CBS -- Julian Edelman is a Hall of Famer.

Edelman is Super Bowl MVP! It's official per the NFL's website.

Edelman had a better game than Biletnikoff did in my opinion. Unlike Super Bowl XI, this game was closely contested all the way.

Mid season it didn't look like the Pats could pull it off but here they are yet again.

Best performance by their defense in a long time credit where due.

You think about this dynasty -- they went a long time between winning it three years out of four two different times even though they were right there every year. In '07 they went 18-0 only to lose in the Super Bowl on a freak play by the Giants; same thing when the Giants beat them four years later. Six Super Bowls in 17 years, very close to eight or nine, what a dynasty in a league designed for parity!!

The 2013 Broncos looked somewhat like the Patriots with Welker, Decker, and Tamme catching passes from Manning. It works. Someone will always copy it.

After Jim Nantz interviewed Belichek and Brady he said, "now back to the great James Brown" who promptly said "now we know why they having a winning template"...yet no one else will apply that same "winning template" to their own organization.

Woooooooooooo!!!! Greatest dynasty ever! Greatest athlete of all time in Tom Brady! Greatest coach ever in Bill Belichick!

So happy for Edelman! One of my favorite players of all time!
