Side note: I wonder whatever happened to our contingent from France, frederic38 and Lisa D return. Has France banned CF after their version of the "Patriot Act (sic)" became law? What about ThePhilosopher and some others. Odd that football season is now in play and they are nowhere to be found.
Heretic -
I guess I must be one of those nameless “others”. Well, in my case You largely answered Your own question by asking the following in the “Premier Teams To Root For” thread:

The EPL will be mostly unwatchable, IMO, especially the major clubs...

The Premier League is impossible to stomach for a fellow like me. I’m rather perplexed that so many Caste Football members persist with watching the NFL, which obviously features a far lower percentage of White players than the English Premier League does. In fact, I’m sure that every US-based Caste Football member would love to see the percentage of White NFL starters mirror that of the White portion of Premier League starters, which generally equates to between 58 and 60%. I, on the other hand, find the Premier League unbearable. But there it is…
I’ve reached a point in my life where football as a whole has become too unpalatable. Naturally, the racial element grates the most, but there are a few other contributing issues:
(a) the corporate mega-club paradigm of the post-1990s game, in which a few ultra-rich (and consequently ultra-influential) clubs from the biggest-money leagues have monopolised success - mainly by being allowed to hoard the best players from around the world and partly by increasingly shameless double standards in refereeing;
(b) the growing influence of Asian and Arab owners, whose vulgar spending and transparent interference in day-to-day club affairs makes that of Jewish owners appear almost inconsequential by comparison;
(c) the fact that many - if not a majority - of White players at top-flight level are narcissistic, criminally-overpaid idiots with no respect for either the fans or the sport and whose appearance and conduct would have put me off even as a football-mad eleven year old
Let’s use golden boy Lionel Messi to illustrate that final point. Forget the huge tattoos, the recently peroxided hair, and the childish attempts at gaining sartorial notoriety by wearing garish suits straight out of an Austin Powers film...
This growth-hormone fuelled midget suddenly announced his international “retirement” at the age of 29 in a fit of pique following defeat on penalties in the final of the Copa America. Pure class. The little ponce didn’t get the international trophy he wanted so he was officially packing it in. But about a month and a half later - after waiting long enough to avoid looking too much like the petulant brat he is, and doubtlessly mulling over the potential loss of endorsement income linked to international football - Messi magnanimously proclaimed his heroic return, citing patriotic love for Argentina, and so on. As I said - pure class…
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention Messi’s tax evasion (which, of course, he knew nothing about…).
One last thing - why should I waste my time watching, analysing, and commenting on a sport which relentlessly promotes…
