Sports Illustrated Racism - - Nothing New

SI is issued to my roommate - the only reason I read them. So, I thought I'd point out that in the Feb 28th, 2008 issue in the article, "Bet You Wish You Could Dunk," there was this cliche PC trite:"Even players one might expect to welcome raising the rim - which is to say, nondunkers, which is further to say, short white guys - don't all buy in."

Also littered throughout the artile is the media's love of the black on white dunk.

Surprisingly, the article has a picture of both the infamous Chambers dunk and one of many spectacular Bekkering. The irony is qucikly eroded because these dunks are, of course, portrayed as the exception to the rule. Nevermind that short white guys who can't jump dominated the 2004 high jump. Stefan Holm is around 5'10'' for God's sake. Should I email SI? Is it worth it? I'm so tired of the propaganda and the blatant double standard. Edited by: Alpha Male

Blacks have an advantage at dunking because of longer arms their reech is on average about 6-8 inches longer then their height,whites mostly 2 inches shorter and mostly about 2 inches more reech then their height .I don't know much about basketball but isn't a dunk only 1 point?.Whites are better in 2 and 3 pointers

White are perfectly capable of dunking but I think many choose not to because they're too busy developing shooting, passing, and dribbling skills.

Just like many whites are perfectly capable of bringing toddlers into a crowded theatre and yelling advice at the screen during tense moments, but choose not to because they realized watching a movie in Culver city wasn't a good idea and it really was their own stupid fault for going to that town in the first place.

That bunk about "white men can't jump" is total hogwash. I was first able to dunk in 7th grade (granted I was 6'4

) & could touch the top of the square (on the backboard just above the rim) by 10th grade. One of my highschool buddy's won county in high jump & long jump and went on a track scholarship to college for high jump. Another (white) guy I played with was 6'2 & could nearly hit his head on the rim. My examples are just local boys from North Georgia. That doesn't even begin to factor in all the world class leapers in track & field (Holm), basketball (Brent Barry) & NFL (Matt Jones..40" vertical). 6.0' white man here with gorilla length arms and yes I could stand under the basket and one hand dunk a ball in my prime. If I were the 6.6' that Jordan was I could have done it standing from one foot.

They seem to have longer hands and feet as well. It seems to me that dunking is more about grip. I could get well above the rim, but could hardly dunk because I couldn't "palm" the ball. Plus having extra inches in your foot length increases the vertical leap, as it's measured from flat-footed standing position.

Well, maybe those luchadores in pro wrestling are more the exception than the rule. Even the "Super Crazy" guy, that looks like a fat auto mechanic, does pretty good moonsaults and other aerial moves. I just believe in giving credit where credit is due. Some of those guys, if not "athletic" can at least be called brave.

By my count, SI's preview this week of the U.S. Olympic team has pictures of 48 individuals, only 4 of whom are white men (3 swimmers, 1 gymnast). Before that, there is a long article on Michael Phelps but the pictures accompanying it could qualify as gay porn, including the last one (the centerfold?), a closeup of his body below the neck where Phelps' swimsuit is riding so low that the very top of his dick shaft is visible. Real class stuff from the white man hating, homosexual dominated corporate media.

What matters is they have different perceived interests as a group to European-Americans and they pursue those interests even though they are damaging to the majority. Whether they are conscious of what they are doing is open to question.
