Liverpool are a side I'm totally against, horrible what's happened there. Arsenal have a huge amount of talent, but so much darkness in attacking positions turns me against them. On a big positive, they have two of fastest, most athletic full backs in world football.

With Kovacic and Pulisic signing permanently in 2019 and the signings of Havertz, Chilwell, Thiago Silva, Ziyech and Werner, Chelsea has done terrific work in the transfer market and I think is a club that we should support this upcoming season

Probably the most dynamic player that I have ever seen live died two days ago. Maradona could weave through defenses and get defenders to converge on him and then weave through them with dynamic runs and score in a more violent era of football.
While not truly White as he was probably Castizo when he was fit he looked more European than he looked in recent years when was bloated and fat and slowly dying from a hedonistic lifestyle in his prime. Very, very sad, rest in peace, Diego Armando Maradona!
I never got the chance to watch him live, as I am in my 30s, but he is without a shred of doubt in the pantheon of all-time greats and has a strong claim to be regarded as the best ever football player. A S.S.C. Napoli legend, Maradona won the ultimate prize in football by leading his country to a World Cup triumph in 1986 and as you pointed out, he was very passionate and bravely rode many tackles that in today's game would result in an instant dismissal for the defender. I remember that he was very approachable and encouraging towards his players when he managed the Argentina national football team. I also like how he refused to blame the altitude in La Paz when his national side suffered a heavy defeat in a World Cup qualifier against Bolivia.
While hotheaded and willing to break certain rules, he had a charismatic personality and was a good guy.
This clip that I recently discovered is a wonderful tribute to him:
It shows how carefree and confident in his abilities Maradona was, at the same time being able to instill belief in his teammates who were considered slight underdogs in this match.
