He called beating Pavlik the greatest event of his life. Hopkins beat Trinidad. He beat De La Hoya. Yet beating Pavlik was his greatest achievement because Pavlik is white! He actually say that in the article. What an scumbag loser Hopkins is.

bopkins is really a despicable F**K. Beating Trinidad and De Hoya should have been bigger nights, in that both were more accomplished than Kelly, but the butthurt victocrat had to say beating Pavlik was bigger, because he is White. I still remember the signing of that fight. I said to myself why is Kelly doing this? Its a lose, lose outcome. If he wins, he beat an old man. If he loses, it is going to take awhile to recover (he never did) and it will elevate bopkins(it did). Come this Saturday, Sergey better introduce Bopkins back to the mat permanently. No excuses.

The referee is a Negro named David Fields. He'll permit Hopkins to use illegal tactics as much as he wants.

All three judges are from the same part of the country as Hopkins, one is another Negro. Hopkins is part owner of Golden Boy Promotions, the event's promoter.

Referees have helped Hopkins in the past.

Hopkins and Mayweather have, and always will be, the biggest scumbags in boxing. Both make great money and then complain about racism yet spew horrendous racial slurs at whites, then play the race card. I'm just praying Kovalev gives this clown a good ass whooping. I believe in karma, and Hopkins certainly has some coming.

Yall dont be too surprised if Kovalev comes out lookin sluggish, and uninterested. He better keep a close eye on his water bottles. He better not let anyone around him. The media, and the puppet masters of boxing DO NOT want Kovolev to win. Hopkins is their boy.

The fact that the event is part - promoted by GBP (of which Hopkins is a shareowner), and being officiated by 4 American officials tells me that the deck is stacked against Kovalev and he will not receive a fair shake .

With 3 American judges Kovalev must absolutely dominate rounds to win them. Any close, competitive, non eventful rounds will automatically go to BHOP.

With an American ref Hopkins illegal antics (intentional headbutt, hitting after the bell, overexagerating nonfouls) will be encouraged and permitted.

Kovalev is promoted by Kathy Duva, managed by a guy "Klimas" . They are both great for Sergey and I believe they're acting in Sergey's interest. But I feel they should have requested 3 international judges.

All of these things put Kovalev at a disadvantage.

Anyone can be knocked out though (yes including old man BHOP) and I do believe Sergey can do it if he fights smart.

For what it's worth - Paul Malignaggi is predicting a Kovalev KO win...

I don't really know how to read these odds things, but it looks to me that the bookies have Kovalev a 2 1/2 to 1 favorite.

Humans really shouldn't be boxing with sub-humans. You can see some of the advantages that sub-humans have in a sport like this in this photo. The human has a prominent jaw and nose; the negro has a receeding jaw and flattened out muzzle. The human has prominent cheek bones and an angular face; the negro just has the protruding muzzle and a flattened out face. The negro even more importantly has a smaller and much more simply constructed brain, and a much thicker skull and thicker skin. A full blooded simian, like an adult gorilla or chimpanzee, would have even more advantages over a human in a boxing ring, and I don't understand why they are not permitted to compete if negroes are.

Yet most of the media's so-called "experts" are picking Hopkins to win.

Hopkins cannot beat Sergey fairly, but it's very possible he may find a way to win by illegal means.

When Hopkins beat Pavlik that was 2008 and he was 43, he is now 49 and in a matter of a 2 or 3 months will turn 50. The age and reflex difference between even a 43 year old athlete and a 49 year old should be quite significant. I remember when Foreman looked reasonably fast for an overweight man when he fought Holyfield at 41, by the time he was given the gift decision against Shulz his reflexes had noticeably dulled. Hopkins can only win by taking away the fighting spirit of Kovalev like he did to the Eurasian in his last fight. If I was Jackson I would plug in a tape of the Calzaghe win over Hopkins and tell Kovalev to do those shoe shine combinations and force the judges to give the higher work rate fighter the rounds. If the knockout comes it comes but loading up on bombs and missing is what Hopkins wants so that Kovalev can be hit by the 49 year old version of shoe shine combinations.

Ps the betting odds reflect what the bookies think the little bettor will bet and may have been swayed by a few pro bettors or big whales. I can't see this fight having much action as boxing is really a fringe sport these days, but in England it's still a prominent betting sport.

"[Hopkins To kovalev] Trust me. You will never win."

Anytime I hear someone say "trust me" I immediately don't trust him.

My prediction: Kovalev by KO in round two.

Interesting prediction werewolf.

Because of Kovalev ' s power, his usual fast starts (look at his fights VS Sillakh and Capparello he feels out in the 1st round 2nd round the guns come out), and Bernard ' s always slow starts a Kovalev early KO win is certainly possible.

In fact, I think Sergey's best chance is a strong attack in the early rounds. Fortunately, Sergey is a fast starter so this should come natural to him. Sergey has never been past 8 rounds so you know Hopkins will try to take the fight late.

Sergey's trainer - John David Jackson (a former boxer who fought and lost to BHOP) has instructed Sergey to target his punches everywhere, head, body, arms. I also think this is great advice.

In Bernard ' s last fights VS Cloud, Shumenov, Murat he's been able to pot shot, hold, and dictate pace. But Kovalev is a much more dangerous fighter than any of those 3 .

Kovalev has fought fast, defensive, slick fighters before - Agnew, Sillakh, Campillo, and he had no trouble easily catching and KOING them. Bernard is most similar to these styles.

**Expect a lot of holding** from Bernard, and I mean A LOT. He's not faster than Sergey but he'll try and hold, bend, lean at every chance he gets.

Quite frankly I don't know that Bernard ' s holding and pot shots will work. It worked in his last fights but Sergey is much better than those opponents.

I've heard some people say that Bernard will fake an injury and yes its well within his character to do it. But will he have time? Sergey is very fast and in many of his KO'S it literally takes one punch (remember the Sillakh KO). It may be too late at that point for Bernard to exit the fight.

In my honest opinion, Sergey should win by stoppage. It's just a question of fighting smart and being up for the challenge. Sergey mentioned fighting his first 18 fights for free. And only 1.5 years ago he made his first purse of 5000$ VS Darnell Boone. Now he's making more than 1,000,000$ and if he wins sky's the limit going forward.

PS) This is the most excited I've been for a fight since Klitschko beat Haye in July 2011. Nothing would please me more than to see Kovalev retire Bernard once and for all...

Prediction: Kovalev KO 6. the old man bit off more than he can chew. This ain't a safe fight like Murat or Cloud. Everyone gets old and this is the fight where Hopkins shows his age. Boxing is a young man's sport and for good reason. Hopkins stayed in the sport too long and he will be sent packing.

I just moved to Calgary, Canada from Toronto, Canada and here in Calgary I'm having a real tough time finding a pub that's showing the fight. I've called like 10 different pubs in Calgary and no one is showing the fight :(

I was planning on watching the fight at the pub after work tomorrow but instead it loks like I might have to resort to watching it on some online stream...

Sucks because in Toronto I had HBO and knew many bars that showed boxing.

Like I said earlier, Sergey has to maintain a distance, using his jab and avoiding bopkins head butts. Once this is established, mix up hard shots to the body, head and shoulders. There is absolutely no way he should not make BBORE quit or fake an injury. NONE. I will be intensely into this fight. It will have huge ramifications it terms of White dominance, Sergey's career and finally to rid us of this black racist.

I see Kovalev trying to mix in his boxing and punching. Agee with Kovalev KO 6.

In a pure, athletic sense, Koralev should win, and decisively so.

The outcome is doubtful though because Hopkins has so many other factors in his favor: the media, the referee, the judges, and certainly even if he does get knocked out, he just isn't man enough or possessed of enough class to graciously give his opponent respect.

He will 100% be like a depressing number of Black athletes who come up with an EXCUSE for defeat (or, even a denial of obvious defeat) rather than offer congratulations to their victorious opponent.

He will claim he was sick or drugged.

His last ditch, desperate excuse would be to blame his age in order to discredit Koralev's victory, and DWFs will eat it up.

Same thing people said when Marciano knocked Walcott the eff out.

Hopkins is one of those pathetic Black douchebags who tries to explain away his TITANIC lack of maturity and class—and his RACISM—with some bullsh*t, poor-me, hard luck story of his upbringing, and that's why he hates White people so much. "Cuz they hurt me n' my family, my dad was jumped by the KKK, waaaaah..."

Oh, please.

Bro, you drive a Bentley, and are as Whitebread suburban as a Limp Bizkit album. STFU already with the racism card.

The two fighters appear to be very close to the same size (Kovalev was a middleweight in the amateurs), but you can bet Max Kellerman will be saying "Kovalev is MUCH bigger". :lie:

I read that article on Hopkins and to say I'm disgusted is an understatement. Hopkins took this fight for one reason, to try and stick it to another whiteboy.
