What is interesting in this fight is how Bhop looked so much smaller that Sergey in the ring. BHop did a great job on selling this fight. Yeah most of DWF nation brought into the BS. But I come here to read the truth, unlike the MSM.

Kovalev, who had a lot to lose, did what he should have done and beat the fifty year old man. Hopkins had some moments when he caught Kovalev with some nice counters, but few and far between. Still the old fella kept it interesting, if with nothing else than his reputation. It was the most tense one-sided fight I've ever watched. Happy for Kovalev that he's making some money now.[/Q+
To me Bbore looked somewhat smaller, compared to Sergey in the ring. That is all I am stating. But to me that is ok, Bernard sold a fight he wished he could have won. Reality set in tonight. No, they looked to be the same size. Kovalev stands somewhat straighter, Hopkins was crouching more.
Check the presser and weigh-in photos I posted a couple of pages back.
Kovalev was the same weight at the weigh-in on Friday. He's not bigger, he's just better.
I actually gained some respect for Hopkins after this fight. At least he's not a coward and took a fight with the most dangerous fighter in the division in Kovalev. He also lasted the entire fight and I seriously doubt any other fighter in the division could have. Maybe it's good that Kovalev went a full 12 rounds. It gave him experience against a great defensive fighter.
