Sam just returned a kick and got smashed by a couple of Buckeyes. Thats the only time I've seen him so far.

What does being bulkier have to do with "concussing"? Every running back has to take hits no matter what their weight. The Big Ten has had plenty of good smaller backs. The idea that the Big Ten is more of a power running conference is an outdated stereotype. As far as weight is concerned most backs go up in weight as they go through their college careers, McGuffie will be in most of the others weight range in 4 years anyway.

This is very upsetting news. I thought Sam was our man to have a shot to be a featured white RB in the NFL because of his measurables and the hype behind him.
