Great news

Beating Chagaev will add more to his legacy and look better on his record in a few years. Not to mention adding the Ring belt and maybe the WBA.

Beating Haye, on the other hand will be written off as a meaningless win over a Cruiserweight. The so called "experts" will quickly throw Haye under the bus when he loses.

Let Haye earn a shot by beating some credible Heavyweights, then perhaps the fight will add more prestige to a Wlad victory.

I hope ESPN doesn't broadcast the fight.Edited by: Blue Devils

Wladimir will not win the ring title. Vitali is ranked #2 and and crowning a fighter as RING Champion is optional if #! beats #3 and Wald and Chagaev are way too white and way to European to get that kind of consideration.

Two white heavyweights fighting for the linear and Ring heavyweight title!

A few years ago, many people would have said this would never happen again.

why is'nt hbo televising the fight? why?

The truth? Because they're both white.

HBO's Ross Greenburg is a Jewish Supremacist who doesn't want people to see two white heavyweights battling it out for the linear and Ring titles at heavyweight. He wants the myth of black athletic superiority to continue.

Alot of articles I have read online are saying positive things about Chagaev. Some of the things mentioned are that Chagaev is better than Haye and will present more of a challenge for Klitschko. This is unexpected from the mainstream media. Haye is also saying he wants Vitali in September.

Although he doesn't deserve that fight, I'd love to see him die. Vitali is probably the greatest of all time. I think he would've beaten Marciano, Dempsey, Ali, Foreman, Tyson, pretty handily.

David Haye needs to make sure that the date he fights Vitali doesn't interfere with his menstrual cycle like it did with Wlad.

Haye talks alot and thats it. The fight with Vitali will not materialize. Haye said it himself that he would knock out both brothers. When referring to Vitali he said it would take alot to knock him out. Haye is not as dumb as may seem.

I'm looking forward to seeing Haye step in with one of the Klitschko brothers. I always prefer to see mixed-race matchups (White vs. Black, White vs. Mexican, etc.) than seeing two Whites or two Blacks or two Mexicans squaring off against one another. It wasn't that long ago when nearly every heavyweight title fight featured two Black fighters (Tony Tubbs vs. Greg Page being the worst), and that turned off a lot of White fans.

An interracial fight usually brings out the best in both boxers. Quite often I've seen a Black fight his ass off against a White fighter (Page vs Coetzee) but then dog it against a fellow Black (Page vs. Tubbs).

Probably the most racial fight of all time was the 1982 Larry Holmes vs. Gerry Cooney bout. The hype and build-up to that was second-to-none and all about race.

I would like to see Haye fight Valuev. If he beats him then he might even have something that Waldimir or Vitali might want. A major organization's belt. I do not think Don King will ever allow Valuev to fight either Klitschko.

To say that many people said this would never happen again is an understatement. I haven't read Ring magazine in many years. How long has it been since they recognized a heavyweight champion?

How do you guys think Chagaev would fare against Haye? I think Haye would lose badly if he ever fought Ruslan. Haye does have some speed and power but against a season fighter like Chagaev he has no chance. Ibragimov would have dominated Haye purely with his hand speed.Edited by: whiteathlete33

Here's a link to information on BoxRec on the Ring champions:

Traditionally, to be recognized as such by Ring magazine, meant that a fighter was the true heavyweight champion. Ring still had Ali as champion after the WBA stripped him in 1967 for refusing to be drafted. Ring recognized Joe Frazier when he KO'd WBA champion Jimmy Ellis in February 1970. Frazier then beat Ali in the March 8, 1971 superfight.

The winner of the June 20 fight is going to be THE heavyweight champion.

Does anyone know what is going on with big mouth Haye? I have read he might fight Vitali in September. Someone on here mentioned he may fight Boystov. I think Boystov will destroy Haye. If Haye does somehow manage to win against Boystov I will give him credit that he is legit. Haye did lose to an old Carl Thompson and supposedly lost to Solis back in 2001. Also will ESPN be showing all the fight or only the Klitschko fight. I really want to see Ustinov vs Sprott. Andy Lee is also on the undercard.Edited by: whiteathlete33

ESPN will only show only the Wlad-Chagaev fight. But we should be able to find a stream of the UK Sky or German RTL telecasts, and they will very likely have an undercard fight or two.

It's being shown in many other countries such as Ukraine, Hungary and Uzbekestan.

In Canada, we'll have no telecast, so I'll try to fing a stream of hopefully the Sky telecast, or as a second choice the RTL. I do not enjoy listening to Teddy Atlas and his unjustified hatred of the Klitschkos, so I will not watch the ESPN version.

After the fight, I'll post a video to be downloaded if I can find one.
