Just experienced a double dose on HBO Boxing tonight.
Announcer Bob Papa described black Puerto Rican Thomas Dulorme as having "a smile that can light up a room."
Then, about 20 minutes later, Papa noted Dulorme's "one thousand watt smile."
Still waiting to hear of the first white athlete (or even non-black athlete) who has a "room brightening smile."
Shockingly, in 2010 golfer Matt Kuchar was described as having a smile that "lit up Augusta National" golf course. See post #19 in this thread. Who knows how that one slipped through the filters of the CM media.
BTW, there's an earlier, companion thread to this one, called "Another Smiling Negro" that makes for entertaining reading:

My all-time favorite quote on this topic remains this description of Tiki Barber in Sports Illustrated by one Karl Greenfeld, who deserves first ballot election if a Pandering to Blacks Hall of Fame is ever established:
"In profile, against the orange sun setting into the smog over the industrial badlands of northern New Jersey, Barber's facial structure is so defined that you imagine you know what he will look like in a thousand years, long after the flesh has decomposed and he is only bone. His face is all sharp angles and perfect planes. His broad smile bares gleaming white, evenly arrayed teeth, an extra helping of perfection after the symmetry of his features."
