I had a scroll through the comments on the TMZ link to the gronkowski story and most people are slamming TMZ for publishing it and someone says if gronk was black it would be a complete non story, looks like alot of people feel the same way as us on here, that it is a load of rubbish!

Gronkowski became the fastest TE to the 40 TD mark, shattering Antonio Gates record by 24 games! Gronkowski caught his 40th TD in only his 47th game! It took Gates 71 games to get 40 TD's.

A look a Gronkowski and Graham at approximately the same time in their careers. Also a comparison of Gronk and arguably 2 of the best TE's in the NFL, Tony Gonzalez and Jason Witten.

Gronkowski: G/47, Rec. 211, Yds. 3,006, TD 40

Graham: G/46, Rec. 215, Yds. 2,648, TD 25

Witten: G/47, Rec. 188, Yds. 2,084, TD 13

Gonzalez: G/47, Rec. 168 Yds. 1,838, TD 15


As you can see, Gronkowski is way ahead of what some consider the best TE's of all-time, Gonzalez and Witten. Clearly ahead of even Graham, except in receptions and we know Gronkowski is way under used by the Patriots!

Also, Graham is already 27 years old after just 4 years in the league. Gronkowski is still just 24.

Witten's amazing consistency and durability set him apart. Gronkowski has spectacular talent, and if he avoids injuries and develops a consistent mental approach, he will be the greatest tight end to ever play in the NFL. He won't be able to play as many seasons as Sharpe and Gonzalez, but he can put up ridiculous numbers over the next 5 seasons.

Gronkowski is dangerously close to forever offending the powers that be with his no sh*t-taking approach to blacks foolish enough to annoy him.

Some stories have been out that Gronkowski has been complaining about all the offensive interference's he has gotten this year. It's up to 10, probably double of anyone else. Clearly the NFL is waging war against the Patriots and this is one way they can do it.

Here's a good article that analyzes all 10 calls and determines that 4 of the 10 are bad calls, but when you consider what typically goes on between receivers and defenders I don't think any of them should be penalties.

I got one of those in a wrestling match in HS. My thigh went numb and it was about two months before I regained full feeling in it. The refs almost NEVER call defensive holding when they're holding Gronk. It's like Goodell wants him to get injured. Watch the end of the Seattle loss this season; they're clearly holding Gronk in the end zone. Have you guys ever seen the James Kahn Rollerball from the 1970's? The commissioner or the CEO of the league wants the star player to be killed in the sport. It reminds me of that. Gronk is the modern Jonathan E.

A thought of mine: Gronk is the most dominant Offensive weapon in the NFL. He Lead the NFL in ypc in his injury shortened 2016 Season. Absolutely unheard of as a TE. the patriots lost a SB in 2012 because Gronk was injured, and another close playoff game because he was missing. They just narrowly came back without him in the SB against ATL. Obviously he is the single most important Player after Brady. Why do they not limit his snaps more for the First 8 games or so (unless its a close game)? Then allow him to increase snaps towards the end of the season, so he can peak in the Playoffs. I mean he is ansolutely essential to have healthy for the playoffs. Its amazing that they achieved what they did without him. I mean the Pats know he isnt durable, thats Why Martellus Bennett was signed (who was considered a solid starter elsewhere). Let the solid backup take the brunt of the season so that Gronk may peak for when he is most needed.

Gronk is far and away the best TE to ever step on the field. Too agile and fast for linebackers, and too big and strong for the secondary.

Injuries are an issue, but he took some time off this past year, so he should be rested. I have a lot of faith in our men on the gridiron this year. The league is tired of watching the Patriots win, and is starting to go that route, albeit slowly, and with as much resistance as possible.

I haven't been this excited since watching Pre-crazy Peyton Hillis show what happens when a white running back is handed the keys.

Gronk better watch his knees, back, and his head if you believe what the black talking heads was saying on all the NFL shows the last two days. Almost ever one to the last man said he would pay big time for his cheap shot on a brother. I hope the Pats has his back.
