The Chiefs have a drug addict on his 4th opportunity, a woman beater in tyreek hill, frank Clark who has home invasion, domestic abuse and now a weapons charge on his rap sheet and they drafted a linebacker last year who was suspended for academic fraud in college and punched his teammate in the face _ QB Garret Schrader.

Well the Wigger Walrus, Andy Reid, is certainly familiar with and comfortable around criminals. 2 of his sons have served jail time after having a myriad of legal troubles and drug issues.

the husband of one of my wife’s longtime friends is one of these pos coaches. he’s about 5-foot-3 and pushing 350. he has a son, but every time i’m forced to be around the dad/coach all he talks about are black players he’s coached or seen. he never talks about his son at all. to point out how impactful the dad’s behavior is from a negative standpoint, i’ve personally witnessed the son creating himself as a player for madden football and changing his skin color to be black.

the dad is, obviously, a real fine piece of work in other areas of fatherhood, as well.

You know a guy truly sucks when even Weenieworld calls him "astonishingly bad." I wonder if this will be Mike Maycuck's final year with the Raiders. Maybe if the team can keep playing unexpectedly well he'll survive, but his drafting has been poor after a promising start (Renfro and Crosby).

Raiders RT Alex Leatherwood was practicing at right guard on Thursday.
The rare first-round right tackle, Leatherwood has been astonishingly bad on Derek Carr's right side, to the point where not even Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock could deny reality. It is a transcendently bad result after Leatherwood's selection was first guessed across the football world, and GM Mayock openly admitted it would be a controversial selection. The Raiders' front office situation is arguably the worst in all of football.

I don't know who's responsible for drafting players such as Leatherwood and Ferrell, Gruden or Mayock, but they could have done better.

Ferrell refused to do all the combine drills. That's always a red flag. The Raiders drafted him anyway and Mayock was on board with that one.

I'm disappointed in Mayock. I thought he'd do better than he has.

Another "high character" pick by Mike Maycuck:

Raiders waived CB Damon Arnette. A video of Arnette flashing multiple firearms and verbally threatening someone surfaced last week, spurring the former No. 19 overall pick's release. With Henry Ruggs's recent release, the Raiders are now without both of the first-round picks they made in 2020. Arnette failed to make much of an impact in a season and a half. He appeared in four games this year before suffering a groin injury that sent him to injured reserve. Arnette broke up one pass and logged four combined tackles in those four non-starts.

Man the Raiders really didn't get anything out of their 2020 draft class did they:

1 - WR Henry Ruggs: cut.
1 - CB Damon Arnette: cut.
3 - WR Lynn Bowden: traded with a 6th round pick to Miami for a 4th round pick before taking a snap.
3 - WR Bryan Edwards: 29/539/2 in 20 career games, so he's just a serviceable rotation player, if that.
3 - S Tanner Muse: injured for his entire rookie season, after which he was promptly cut following the Raiders' selection of a whopping 3 safeties in the 2021 draft.
4 - OG John Simpson: I mean, he's a starter, I guess? Not like that says much, after the departure of several starters from their already weak 2020 offensive line. Still, you could do a lot worse in the 4th round.
4 - CB Amik Robertson: fifth string corner with 17 solo tackles, 6 assists, and 0 picks in 14 games. Bleh, whatever.

I had high hopes when the Gruden-Maycuck team started off by drafting Maxx Crosby and Hunter Renfro and started reworking what had been an almost all-Black roster for a long time by adding some White players. It even looked like they would be starting four Whites on defense but now Crosby is the last man standing while the "courageous" Nassib is a rotational player, Kwiatkoski has been turned into a WSTD after an excellent 2020 season, Heath was purged, and Muse was never given a chance after getting over his foot injury.

Lynch and Maycuck have both been disappointing as GMs.. Leading me to believe we'll never have a chance at a fair GM again. Never ending line of caste disciples.

Yeah the best we can reasonably hope for is a GM who is race-blind, who is unfazed by media criticism, and who values high character players (who tend to come in a certain skin tone, of course). That's what I and surely many others thought we had in Mayock. Perhaps the last draft was an aberration and Mayock will return to his white-friendly (by NFL standards) ways.

Although, one wonders whether Jon Gruden (who does fit many of the above descriptors) was responsible for a lot of the recent white picks. If that's the case, the proportion of white Raiders draftees should continue declining, since he's no longer a part of the organization.

Cats have nine lives; that's nothing compared to Black football players, especially ones drafted in the first few rounds:

Buccaneers signed WR Breshad Perriman to the practice squad. Perriman cleared waivers and immediately signed with his old team, whose jersey he was last seen catching passes from Jameis Winston in. Unable to crack the Bears' rotation this year, Perriman will at least be available on Tampa Bay's practice squad in case any other injuries occur around Antonio Brown's (ankle) and Scotty Miller's (turf toe) current ones.

I wonder what team will sign him next. He's certainly up there in terms of all time bust rankings. 7th overall pick of the infamous 2015 draft - career numbers are 26 receptions 323 yards.

Saints waived WR Kevin White.
White notched one catch for 38 yards in four appearances with the Saints. It was his first reception since 2018. White will look to land on another team's practice squad within the next few weeks.
