Westside, I think older men with white beards look better with several weeks or months of growth. Earlier in the year I grew a full beard as a gesture of solidarity with Epic Beard Man. People would ask me about it and I would bring up the EBM video.

It had been about 15 years since the last time I sprouted whiskers. It was still fairly dark back then, looked great, but now it is almost entirely white.

It has become stylish for youger guys to let the fuzz grow for several days. Kind of hip, trendy and cool, I guess.But I didn't look GQ as my beard was beginning to grow. No way. I just resembled an old, homeless, street bum because of all the white stubble. Ha ha.

After it grew out and was trimmed neatly I was told I looked very distinguished. In my mind the same appies to
David Duke. He's not a kid anymore, so if it's too short he looks like he's been sleeping at the rescue mission. Young dudes can get away with doing it.

I think the "White men can't jump" myth came from the NBA and Whites not showing off doing obnoxious jams instead just doing a layup or regular dunk without the yelling and swinging from the rim during games and also them not competing in the NBA's slam dunk contest. Whites tend to focus and practice more on their fundamentals and not waste so much time learning fancy dunks which is worth the same 2 points as a layup...

Blacks do on average have longer arms and legs. For example, Floyd Mayweather at 5'8" has the same arm length as 6'6" Wladimir Klitschko: 26". This does give them an advantage in certain sports like boxing and basketball.

And on average, they have have proportionately smaller heads and shorter midsections than white people, so they have less weight to carry around on their legs.

There are exceptions. Some white men have long legs like blacks, and some like Tyson Fury have long arms.

Blacks also have innate disadvantages in sports. They are on average less intelligent, are more easily discouraged by adversity, and have a lower tolerance to pain and discomfort. They are also more likely to ruin their careers with stupid or criminal behavior (examples Greg Hardy, Keon Clark), although some white men do as well (example Ryan Leaf).

My take is, because most of the basketball players in the Deep South are black, he thinks blacks must be superior at it. To me, the Deep South paints an athletic picture that is skewed.

There have been some truly good black ballers' from Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida, no doubt, but for every success story, there have been many more busts. I got rid of some of my basketball cards, but I still have many - and there are tons of busts. Not every black can be a Karl Malone, Robert Parrish or a prime Shawn Kemp.

Another thing that I keep noticeing, looking at past and current stats, is that there are many blacks, with supposedly long-arms, that have inferior shot-block numbers compared to many of our White bigs. The Caste System media won't acknowledge this, though. They'll just keep pushing their propaganda that Whites can't jump or play competent defense.

Thus our all-white teams won the NCAA football national championship 9 times in just 14 years, 6 times unanimous, 3 times shared. Alabama SHOULD have been #1 in 1966. Bama had the only perfect record in the nation. Notre Dame and Michigan State played each other to a 10-10 tie and the writers left them ranked 1-2, with Bama #3. And both ND and MSU finished the year with identical 9-0-1 records. Alabama finished with an 11-0 record. Michigan State did not play in a bowl game that year. Neither did Notre Dame. Alabama did, though, and they slaughtered a big powerful Nebraska team (with multiple black stars) 34-7 in the Sugar Bowl.

The reason Bama wasn't ranked first is because of leftist media agitation that was determined to keep an all-white team from winning the national championship. (Michigan State had several black players that year, and Notre Dame had one, or possibly more.) Resentment against Alabama and George Wallace had reached a hysterical crescendo by the early 1960s. The sportswriters transferred that resentment to Alabama and Bear Bryant, constantly agitating for Bryant to recruit black players. Bryant's thinking: "Why do I need black players when I'm tearing up college football with white boys." The 1966 poll was the worst injustice ever perpetrated by the college football polls. (Read the book "The Missing Ring.")

I used the 1950s and 1960s to illustrate the dominance of all-white teams because this was the period when many excellent black players were first pouring into the collegiate game. Prior to the 1950s my point may have been moot because few blacks played college football in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.

So all this raises the question, "Why have white boys fled the football fields, which they began fleeing during the 1970s and ever after?" Some of you may have good explanations. I have my own, which are as follows:

1. The radical feminization of white America. The late 1960s sowed the seeds of the chaotic apocalypse we are all living today, but it began in the 1960s. Radical feminists spread the word that women didn't need husbands, kids didn't need fathers. And, boy, did the girls lap that message up. Divorces skyrocketed in the 70s, millions of homes were torn apart, and by the late 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, it became commonplace for boys not to have fathers and therefore become influenced only by women who discouraged boys from manly endeavors and sports. Even where fathers existed, many became emasculated by aggressive dominating females, who'd bought wholeheartedly into the trending and ongoing feminist agenda. And our boys suffered badly.

2. Even where the nuclear family stayed tight, white parents feared the wild and unruly influence in sports locker rooms as hordes of ghetto blacks moved in. They did not want their child exposed to that, and who can blame them?

3. The concussion issue obviously discouraged many good parents from subjecting their boys to this; again, hardly blameworthy.

Thus, the fact that few white boys play football today doesn't mean they can't play well, but rather that other reasons keep them off the field now.

I'm sure there are many more reasons white boys don't play football today, but these are huge contributors. But let no one think today that white boys can't play football. The 1950s and 60s give the lie to that canard.

They played as though it were high noon at Gettysburg and they were determined to make that charge go through this time. And usually, overwhelmingly, they did.

(I should include an addendum to this regarding the 1970 Texas Longhorns: Technically they were not an all-white team because they had accepted one black player onto the Longhorn squad that year, Julius Whittier, so that is why I did not include the 1970 team in the list above, though perhaps I should have. Whittier, a sophomore, played exceptionally rarely if at all that year. Sports-reference lists no playing time for him in 1970, and he was never on the first string anyway. This is significant because Texas shared the national championship in 1970, racking up one more all-white national championship, if that can be counted. Texas was finally defeated by Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl on New Year's Day, 1971, ending a remarkable 30-game winning streak, still one of the longest in NCAA history.)

As for the famous 1969 Longhorn national champs, a splendid book was written about their confrontation with undefeated Arkansas at the end of the 1969 regular season. It's titled "Hogs, Horns, and Nixon Coming," by Terry Frei, and it was the very last showdown for the national championship played by two all-white teams, both unbeaten coming in. Texas, down 14-0 going into the 4th quarter, engineered one of the greatest comebacks ever, winning 15-14 and then beating Notre Dame in a nail-biter in the Cotton Bowl 21-17, clinching the 1969 national championship. "Hogs, Horns, and Nixon Coming" is about that Arkansas game and about the era in which it was played. It's one of the two finest books I've read about college football, the other being "The Junction Boys," (subtitled "Ten Days in Hell") by Jim Dent, the mesmerizing story of Bear Bryant's first workout camp at Texas A&M in 1954 and about the brutal practices that ran off such a large number of even his best players and nearly killed one. Both of these books are still available at Amazon in brand new condition, about 16 bucks. "Hogs, Horns, and Nixon Coming," by Terry Frei, is subtitled "Dixie's Last Stand," thus the complete title is "Hogs, Horns, and Nixon Coming: Dixie's Last Stand." On the front cover is a football and - horrors!!! - a Confederate flag. If you love Dixie like I do (Mobile, Al. native) and love all-white football, you can't beat this book.

Yes, indeed! One of my all-time favorite players was Tennessee tailback Johnny Majors (1956, I believe). As a child growing up in Mobile, Al., I got his autograph at the Senior Bowl. He finished second in the Heisman race that year, and he played defense as well as he played offense, during that wonderful time when players played on both sides of the ball.

I also recall that incredible game in 1966 between Alabama and Tennessee. Unbeaten Bama was down 10-0 going into the 4th quarter, and I was sure the Vols had 'em beat. I went out and played football that day before the 4th quarter began and was stunned upon later learning that Bama had won 11-10.

And my absolute favorite coach of all-time was General Neyland, Tennessee's best ever. Bear Bryant considered Neyland the greatest coach ever. Neyland loved defense and the kicking game. He was so respected that he chaired a board of coaches in the 1950s who were interested in allowing free substitution. When they asked for a vote on it, Neyland refused to allow the vote and gavelled the meeting to an end saying, "There's not gonna be any chicken-**** football on my watch. The players will continue to play both ways." And none of the other coaches dared oppose him. Free substitution did not come in until after the General retired.

A teacher friend of mine has remained unmarried through 56 years, and she now finds herself wondering if she can afford to retire as she lacks the doubling power of a husband's income.

Sounds like you're one of the lucky minority today who has a strong and tight marriage, one in which parents refuse to allow the kids to play their parents against each other. I could instruct anyone on here in less than an hours time all they needed to know about my work. It was easy to understand but difficult to do. The three main points to doing the work were, physical, mental and emotional (at least normal intellect). A man might have been deficient in one of the categories and still might have been able to do the work because he was able to make up for that deficiency through the combination of the other two attributes. But if he were deficient in two categories, he couldn't make up the difference. With blacks, they were mostly deficient in at least two of the areas. But in my 40 yrs. in the trade, I came across only two that were different than the usual black. One was totally into the work and no different that us White guys and Indian guys. He was accepted as one of us by both groups (he was not American - he was from one of the islands - unfortunately, he was killed on a job in Manhattan). The other guy I'll mention couldn't do a certain part of the work that he really wanted to do. He was a good man but didn't have what it took to be a "connecter." But I liked him - his heart was right but he just couldn't make up for the big lack of intellect. In forty years of observation of blacks, those were the only two worth much in the trade.

Anyone who says there nothing to skin color, they're either very inexperienced or stupid, or a combination of both.

Fun fact: Martin Van Buren, the 8th President of the United States, was the only U.S. President to grow up speaking a language other than English. His ancestors were Dutch who were part of the colony of New Amsterdam, later conquered by the English and becoming New York. Even though Van Buren was born 120 years after the English conquest, he still grew up speaking Dutch.

If it took that long for White cultures like the Dutch to assimilate into the dominant Anglo-Saxon culture, think of how hard (AKA impossible) it will be for non-whites to assimilate.

Let's be honest they aren't even going to try and assimilate. There is no reason for them too. It's just another example of how the powers that be are doing their best to attack the majority racial group in this country.
