Its about that time of year again

I started out with Brock Jackolski. He looks to have the talent to make it in the NFL. It has been mentioned he has 4.4 speed, it looks pretty front loaded but that is better. He looks like he has great change of direction/wiggle in tight spaces. Nice balance/power as well as great hands.

Jake Bequette 6'5 270 pound DE with reported 4.6 speed

Danny Coale 6'0 203 pounds 4.4 speed

Devon Wylie

Harrison Smith DB Notre Dame 6'2 213 pounds 4.5 speed

btw, is the video quality good for those watching? I finally got full screen converting it a different way when my vids usually have bars on them but its HD and my computer has trouble playing them sometimes so let me know if you have problems. If anybody has any requests let me know, trying to do the top prospects, mostly dlineman and linebackers.

I didn't have any problems with the video.

Brock should have been a superstar. It's pretty ridiculous that he had to play behind negroes of lesser ability his entire career, even at Hofstra. I'm not sure if Stony Brook has a combined pro-day with other schools or if maybe Brock can get into one of the NINE combines the NFL is having this year, but he needs a superb workout performance to be visible through their race-based filters.

Riddlewire,

I forgot all about those nine additional combines. Personally, I think they have the potential to do more harm than good. Every year about 55-65 white players get drafted, I will be paying close attention to any shift in that number this year.

Will the NFL front offices take much stock in the regional scouting combines? Will they still focus most of their efforts into the main Indy combine? Will these regional combines take the place of pro days that have allowed scouts to see talented/less heralded white players perform well and get drafted? What types of players will be invited to these regional combines and will the appropriate racial filters by position apply?

I'd love to see a Luke Kuechly video. Logan Harrell, Jake Bequette, and Jared Crick come to mind as well!

i could list a huge number of deserving players, but in appreciation for your intro video for the thread i thought i'd also make my first nominee a guy that most folks probably haven't had the opportunity to watch play ...

Robbie Frey, who transferred away from UConn for academic pursuits despite being the likely starter, has ideal size (6-0, 205-pounds) and breakaway speed. in his first and only season at Kutztown University, Frey led the Golden Bears to their best season in school history (11 wins) and rushed for more yards than any KU tailback in nearly a decade (1,185 yards and 11 touchdowns on 189 carries). also a terrific kick returner (29.8 yard average), Frey finished the season with 1,483 all-purpose yards.

as a junior at UConn, Frey ran for 389 yards on 75 carries (a 5.2 average) but was likely best known for his kick return ability, including a 95-yard touchdown against Oklahoma in the 2011 Fiesta Bowl.

could you compile a highlight vid of him?

updated to add Jake Bequette, he has been used as a OLB for the senior bowl but looks more like the prototypical 4-3 DE.

I will try to make a video of Frey but hard to find a good deal of footage on him.

Bequette looks like a sure fire 1st round pick especially considering his resume playing in the ultra competitive SEC. He'll still be a 2nd or 3rd rd pick while the real affletes with unlimited upside get picked in front of him.

thanks, dwid.

Bequette was my favorite defensive player this past season and other than Tyler Wilson was just about the only guy i could cheer for on the in-state Razorbacks. Jake was not only an Academic All-American, he was also the most dominant pass rusher in the SEC. when he wasn't on the field for the Hogs, there defense was worse than average.

many in the nation-wide audience saw this for the first time in Arkansas' bowl game against Kansas State. at one point, Bequette was on the sidelines to catch a breather at the start of a series. K-State promptly threw two consecutive completions for consecutive big plays. even the announcers were demanding that Bequette get back in the game, because (despite the remainder of the d-line being "phenomenal" affletic black sumos) no one else could apply pressure to Klein. on the third play of the drive, Bequette was back in the game and was on the field for the duration.

whichever team gets Bequette in the Draft will be very fortunate. barring injury and a caste system-enforced racial apprenticeship, he'll be a bad ass for years to come.

I'll be paying attention to Brock Jackolski leading up the draft. I won't get my hopes up to high, though.
I personally know some people close with him. If I hear any inside information, I'll be sure to share it.

Thanks, freethinker. With Woodhead's success after a couple of tough years, maybe it paves the way for a little more attention to standout white RBs at smaller schools.

Brian Shay was a small school running back screwed over though he wasn't nearly the athlete that Woodhead is.

from scout Wes Bunting

5. TE Taylor Thompson: SMU (6-6, 266)
I thought Thompson was at best a fringe draftable defensive end prospect. However, he’s opened some eyes this week playing at tight end. He displayed good body control as a route runner, is a sneaky athlete down the field and has a physical element to his game when asked to go get the football And when looking over the weaker TE class in the 2012 draft, he has a lot more value catching the football than rushing the passer in my view.

NFL Fits…
Giants
Steelers
Bears

After three days of practice in Little Rock, Arkansas, the NFP ranks the Players All-Star Classic’s top prospects for the upcoming NFL draft and breaks down which NFL teams are good fits for each.

Roy is a fit in a 34 front.

1. OLB Brett Roy: Nevada (6-3, 272)
It’s rarely pretty with him. However, he’s a strong kid who possesses good power into contact, knows how to use his hands to fend off blocks and has a motor that runs non-stop. Plus, he’s a sneaky athlete who could end up playing just about any linebacker spot in a 34 front.

NFL Fits…
Patriots
Jets
Ravens

This no-body "a$$ clown/draft guru" Wes Bunting wrote both Roy and Thompson are "sneaky athletes". I wish he would clearify what he means....Is it because these "goys" went to Nevada and SMU and not a top BCS schools? Are these mid-major "goys" supposed to be non-athletes compared to the five star SEC types? Or is it due to another reason, misleading college stats, they run with a limp or are they nerdy and wear thick glasses off the field?

Bunting is the unquestioned king of caste speak. I've written about him here a couple of times before (although not this year).
He's never seen a white football player that he didn't loathe, regardless of position. I've gotten into arguments with him before over his use of racial code words in his "evaluations". He always plays ignorant. He might not be as openly hostile to white players as other football pundits, but he will never do a write-up about one without including some type of athleticism disclaimer, e.g., "He's not the fastest player on the field, but...". He knows he can usually get away with this because it's technically true. There will always be a black cornerback who can run a padless, track-timed 4.40 (especially convenient for Wes, since he knows that white cornerbacks are practically non-existent). He used it against Eric Decker before the draft to insinuate that Decker was a lumbering oaf. It's a nonsensical phrase, because any player might be the second fastest player on a particular field, with absolutely blazing speed. But you could still say about him "He's not the fastest player on the field, but...".
Bunting is a villain.

Good read about two underrated athletes. Drew Astorino should be playing corner and Randy Colling has freakish size and strength

Closer look at a pair of N.F.L. prospects, potential small school gem Randy Colling and Drew Astorino, a two year starter at Penn State.

I'd love to see a short highlight of Wylie showing off his wheels.

Ex-Fresno State receiver Devon Wylie is always compared to Wes Welker, but the fast-rising prospect believes he can run a 4.3 at the Combine.

updated to add Devon Wylie and Danny Coale, who are both running in the combine today. I was going to make my own highlights of them, but someone already has! Looks like more people are recognizing White talent, although it takes away views from my videos it helps since I seem to have less time each year (I noticed from the stats that a good deal people check out the lesser known guys on my page after looking at someone well known). I still have Tyler Shoemaker to do as far as receivers.

Wylie could be used in a Welker role, he has quickness (seems like a ton of his passes were close to the line of scirmmage) but he would be better used to stretch defenses. If they had to compare him to a White receiver it would be Kevin Curtis.

updated to add Tyler Shoemaker, 6'2 215 pounds with 4.4 speed, looks like they misused him for most of his career in the slot/some of the routes they had him running instead of on the outside, because while he can find the soft spots in zone coverage, he had no problem outrunning defensive backs who were covering him one on one. His deep speed was not utilized to its fullest, he can get some yac but thats not his game. Funny to hear on every catch during the 2010 season "he's really benefitting from the best duo in Austin Pettis and Titus Young". Then when he posted 1k from scrimmage his last year and 16 tds they were pretty quiet.

I'll provide a link to the video here, not sure whether I should just keep updating the original post or if I should post the video in a new post, leaving them in one spot makes them easy to find but they are getting very little traffic from this site, maybe people aren't going back to view the original post?

Rice DE Scott Solomon

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/L23irGMoEaY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

great find! I have been wanting to do Solomon but its very hard to come by Rice footage.

I am little late on making videos but things have been hectic, plus most of our guys are defenders this year, and most play by play things don't list tackles by the individual, you have to go through the hole game to find good plays other than interceptions. Hopefully this week I get a few more players done.

Stephen Peyton 6'2 226 pounds from Brown. Ran a 4.6 at his pro day which is plenty fast for a safety, George Iloka is ranked top 5 and ran a 4.66. This kid has a nose for the football and great against the run.

sorry for the music, but I guess I am going to have to cater to average dwf to get more exposure, less people are viewing my videos, they aren't being spread around as much.
