Wow, Logan Payne just caught a tough catch across the middle and was totally taken out in a purposeful fashion. As he landed from the leaping catch the San Francisco defensive back lowered his head to knee level as Logan landed and took out his knee. What a classic cheap shot! No intent to go after the ball only an injury. Payne was carted off the field. His season is probably over.

I didn't see this game in question (Will have to wait for the highlights, if they show it) but it wouldn't surprise me. From the time I started watching football in the mid 80's I have seen my share of cheap shots from black players against whites, especially recievers. Tommy Waddle was a veritable cheap shot magnet when he played for the Bears. Also even on legal hits, Black defenders just used to go all out and completely try to kill him.

I was listening to highlights driving home from a family gathering and heard the replay of the Redskins winning touchdown pass thrown by Campbell.  Exact quote   "I've never seen anything like it.  That was fantastic!!"   Well, of course I had to check NFL.com to see this fantastic play that the seasoned play by play man had never seen before.  Campbell sidestepped a defender and threw a deep pass to a receiver who ran about 15 yards to the end zone.  Yea, a nice play, but nothing out of the ordinary.  Man, talk about hyperbole.   

Thats the definite NFL Script. I guess they think that fans have a short memory and easily forget about truely magical plays from QB's like Favre, Montana, Elway etc. However, it goes without saying that if it was local homer announcer, they often have a tendency to overexagerate and get excited on plays like this.

I watched a little of the Indy game and am now watching the Steelers - Browns.

I can see why I tuned out Week 1. Lots of dropped balls and overall poor play.

Madden said, after Big Ben threw wide, that Ben is one of those quarterbacks who has to get into a rhythm before he can be effective. He said that despite the fact that Ben was gesturing to his receiver (Holmes) that he was supposed to go outside, not inside.

Anderson hit Braylon Edwards right in the hands, and he dropped it. Al mentioned that Edwards has problems with drops, including 4 last week, one of which would have been the game-winning touchdown.

Yet, Braylon Edwards is considered a stud wide receiver. How good would he be if he could actually catch the ball?

The more I see Cutler the more I am really impressed with him. He has an intelligence and feel of the game much greater than his years. He is not far off from being one of the elite QB's in the NFL. Phil is turning out to be a pretty good QB too. I am really glad that he endured the crap the hate whitey media and the drunk white fans flung at him, hoping to see him crack and lose his job.

Cleveland and Cincinnati are disaster areas, Kansas City is rebuilding from scratch after collapsing under Herm Edwards, the Bears are a shell of their Super Bowl team from two seasons ago, and the Colts are struggling. Only Tony Dungy and Mike Tomlin should have completely safe jobs right now.


Although it's still early, the Browns have the look and feel of a team going nowhere. They had poor clock management for the second game in a row, and the decision to kick a field goal so latein the game on their onlysustained drive of the game instead of going for it on fourth down was obviously the wrong one to make.Crennel seems to just stand there with a permanently befuddled look on his face. You have to wonder if he's really in charge or if he's a Ray Rhodes/Art Shell symbol of "equality" more than a real head coach.

Yes, kicking the field goal in that situation was, pardon the expression, completely boneheaded. He still needed a touchdown to win the game anyway, and another field goal wouldn't even tie it. He left his team with under 4 minutes to play, kicking off to the Steelers.

What was he thinking? Two more field goals? Setting up the potential win by going for the field goal early? ???

That befuddled look could be sign of his blood sugar getting low. Going three hours without a meal could kill him........

Did anyone see the Chargers/ Broncos game? Man I feel bad for the Chargers, the ref blew that call on the fumble.. big time! For the NFL the Chargers are a little white friendly so I was rooting for them.

after seeing Gonzalez' big stats here on CF, i watched the highlights for the Colts game online at NFL.com. needless to say i was disappointed.

while reggie wayne is featured throughout (including a dropped pass

), Gonzalez is only seen one time. and aside from mentioning his name on the play where he lateraled the ball to almost score a touchdown, nothing whatsoever was said about his athleticism or his quick thinking, or his big game, or anything. Gonzalez might as well have been invisible for the lack of commentary on his outstanding performance.

You forgot about Jack Del Rio. As far as I'm concerned, he's a black coach, too, and I'm totally happy with Blacksonville's 0-2 start. Not to mention, they were beated by white-friendly Buffalo today, and that makes it even sweeter.

That's a real shame about Logan Payne. It really does seem that these injuries happen to too many of the few white WRs once they finally are given a chance to play.

Question for Chargers' embattled coach Norv Turner; why do you draft a RB in the second round, one who looks awfully good during preseason, and not give him a single touch when Tomlinson sits out much of the game?

The lone Redskins defender, Reed Doughty, was benched in favor of some black rookie. The rookie intercepted two passes and recovered a fumble, so Doughty will never, ever get that job back. I'm sure the drunk white fans now absolutely love the look of that Redskins defense.

Once again, the level of play was astoundingly bad in almost all these game. Wide receivers who can't catch, defenders who can't tackle, officials determining the outcomes of games with their wildly inconsistent calls, black and white coaches continuing to discriminate with impunity against the tiny number or whites remaining in the league, jock sniffing announcers praising the most routine plays while reserving their ire for those same tiny number of white players.

I'm pretty sure Doughty was out with injury. That's what I heard on the radio broadcast just prior to the game. Whether he gets replaced now is another matter though.

Yeah, that's for sure. The Colts' all-black defense looked worse than I've ever seen them against the offensively anemic Vikings. The super fragile Colts safety, Bob Sanders, was injured once again. When he was playing in the game, much like last week, this jocksniffer approved "superstar" looked very human.

At least the intoxicated, brainless white fans in attendance were rightfully booing Turdvarous Jackson after yet another piss-poor passing outing.

It's nice to see the very black Jags, Bengals, and Browns sitting at 0-2. It was also nice to see the elderly Kerry Collins easily win for the Titans in place of the rapidly falling messiah, Vince Young. It is now a regular part of NFL football for white quarterbacks to hit black players right in the hands and have them drop it. The average fan appears to have accepted this as a completely normal and regular part of the game. Hey, nobody catches everything! Young fans probably aren't familiar with a time when this was not the standard way NFL football was played.

And why not? These are invincible black superhumans, after all. No other racial group on earth could possibly compete with them. Please, no silly white guys. They don't even deserve to step on the field with these African athletic gods.

Colts tackle Tony Ugoh, savior of Peyton Manning, went down with a groin injury. Somehow, the Colts were able to win without him. While Ugoh was playing in game 1 and 2, he appeared to provide none of the savior-like tackle play he is claimed to deliver. The Colts pass blocking and run blocking was as bad as it has been in years, due mainly to key white linemen being out.

The Browns seem to have not one, not two, but three 350 pound defenders. They all get too tired to play every snap, and have to come out of the game to rest by only the second quarter. During a long possession, when they need to be in the game stopping the other team, they are on the sideline instead, hyperventilating. I guess they prefer watching the game to playing it, and are probably only looking to have a sandwich with Browns coach, Art Shell.

How is Marvin Lewis not fired? This is getting ridiculous.Edited by: nevada
