Hopefully Nick Foles does well in tonight's game.

It looks as if Foles is the real deal. He's done well as a rookie with a below average offensive line.

Regardless of how well he does the rest of the year IMO he'll be a good player for years to come.

If the Eagles were smart they'd start building around Foles.

I live in the Philly area and Foles is starting to gain a small but growing following. The DWFs around here are starting to realize--at least I think they are--that Randall Cunningham-->Rodney Pete--->Don Mcnabb--->Mike Vick-->ZERO Super Bowls is not working out so well.

Colt Anderson consistently making plays against the run and gets called the best run stopping safety on the eagles since Brian Dawkins. Cincinnati will be challenging him deep later in the game no doubt!!

Pac man Jones interferes Riley Cooper on a pass and no penalty. He grabbed Coopers left arm on the backside-way before the ball arrived and blocked the ball with his free hand. The idiot talking head said he liked the non call, and that it was a legal play. He even said you can grab the receiver on the backside to stabilize yourself. When did that become legal??

Colt Anderson breaks up a deep pass to Green. The Bengals tried to get him to bite on a pump fake, but he stayed back and almost intercepted the pass. The announcer actually said the Eagles are a better team with Colt in there.

The refs are definitely racially biased. The question is are they under instructions, or is it all mental?

Foles is really building QB-receiver chemistry with Cooper, if Foles is made the long term starter imagine Celek and Cooper both starting for the Eagles.

So far, Cooper and Anderson frequently in the thick of things. This is actually a good game to watch.

Pac Man Jones head butts Riley Cooper after the play. Personal foul penalty called, automatic first down.

I don't know who the commentator is for this Eagles-Bengals game, but he is the most reasonable and fair commentator I've heard all season.

That's Mike Mayock. He's extremely knowledgeable and very fair in his observations most of the time.

Speaking of Mayock, as Brain Leonard gets his token carrry, I remember that Mike was super high on Leonard when he was coming out of Rutgers. He was one of the few who felt that Brian was strictly an NFL halfback not a fullback or "hybrid" as many of his colleagues thought. He felt the same way about Jacob Hester. Mike Mayock is as fair as they get in the Caste NFL.

Wow, nice cutback on the TD run by Dalton!

Seems like every time A. J. Green drops a pass, one of the announcers has to say, "He doesn't do that often." Last week he cost the Bengals a game when he dropped a sure TD pass. I don't watch the Bengals much, but when I do I can count on Green to drop at least one pass.

I always thought that a team had to sellout a game to avoid a blackout but I just read this on the Raiders site:

'Sunday’s game between the Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs will be televised locally, a Raiders spokesman said.
The Raiders on Thursday were granted a one-day extension in an effort to sell enough tickets to satisfy the league’s blackout policy. The Raiders reached the 85 percent threshold in time to avert a second blackout this season.
This marks the seventh time in eight games this season that the Raiders will be televised. The figure stands at 15 of 16 over the past two seasons.'

I didn't know the NFL had softened its requirements on the blackout rule.

They did this year it's not required though, a team can choose to use the old threshold.

Let's hope the Pats beat the 49ers tonight

Lets hope Welker is back on track and playing like his usual self. The media was more than happy to cover the Patriots last win being that Lloyd and Stallworth made a td, in addition to Hernandez as well as a pick by Talib.

Hope Cousins has a good day starting and Watt puts up a couple of sacks.

Edit: Watt already with one sack. Cousins 1 td 1 int, Morris is doing poorly right now.

Adrian Peterson has 8 carries for 8 yards with a long of 8, which means 0 on 7 carries.

I love watching Denver. First Manning hits Eric Decker with a perfect bomb down to the 1 yard line. Then they give the ball to J. Hester to rush it in for the touchdown. He hasn't played much yet but I'm hoping he will become a little more involved in the offense as he continues to learn the playbook. Thank God he is out of San Diego. They tried to ruin his career. The kid can do more than block.
