Both NBC commentators are jackasses.

They're certainly long-time Caste speakers, but gotta say Collinsworth this year doesn't bother me nearly as much as he used to as far as using mindless racial cliches while praising black players and demeaning White ones. In fact, I've noticed less ritualized Caste-speak in general the past couple of years by announcers and more of a tendency to give Whites credit for athleticism while critiquing blacks just a bit more honestly. There's obviously no way to quantify it, just my subjective perception. Maybe Caste Football has had more of a positive effect that we give ourselves credit for. . .

well the announcers are getting better....just as I was typing that though they were kind of downplaying the td by Edelman, very subtle though saying "well it was basically two strong safties out there so blah blah", so its okay for two black safties to get burnt in coverage but if it were Eric Smith it would be a different story. I remember last year when he missed a tackle on Tebow both he and Jim Leonhard got blamed for it. Reducing his snaps hasn't panned out that well, he just sticks out more when a mistake is made.

Touchdown caught by Wes Welker, fumble recovered by Steve Gregory for a touchdown, fumble recovered by Julian Edelman for a touchdown, and now another bomb to Edelman as Landry gets caught cheating into the box (on 3rd and 5, no less). The Jets are so bad that they even let one of the black players get in on the touchdown party! The 2nd quarter score is 35-0, and New England has even missed a field goal.

With the next two quarters an absolute lost cause, Rex Ryan should protect his star quarterback Sanchez from potential injury (and additional humiliation) and give the clipboard holder a drive of his own.

Welker makes a quick cut, burst and catch for a first down and Caste pundit clown has to demean his athletic ability. "He's not the fastest guy in the league, blah, blah, blah." I haven't watched football since the Superbowl, but I always love watching the Pats. They've added Edleman, but had to follow script and demote Woodhead. Truly mind boggling.

It's good to see the Pats starting to win games in a commanding fashion. Especially against teams like the Colts. And it's reassuring seeing them do it against the lesser teams as well. They barely squeaked by the Jets the last time out.

Hopefully Edelman didn't get too banged up. He and Gregory have played well.

You almost get the sense that Ryan doesn't want to play Tebow in the chance that he DOES start to play well. After all their season is already shot. He'll likely get run out on a rail after this terrible season. But absolutely no one would hire him if it was discovered that he had a possible antidote sitting on his bench the whole time but was either too pigheaded or too poor an evaluator of talent to play him.

They just played the "Django Unchained" trailer. So, so sick of this narrative of black man as hero and white as evil, racist antagonists. The Tarintino tongue and cheek kitsch doesn't dull the edge either. It just gives one the sense of open mockery. As if they know this is all a libel and a slander but they have the power to do it so they will and THAT is hilarious.

Houston squeked out another win today mostly due to their defense. A.Johnson had a great game but they are looking towards him too much. They have good quality receivers and they are at their best when they spread the ball around.

The Pats will win in a blow out but they continue to ignore Woodhead. Such a shame as he is an amazing talent. You don't see guys with that kind of speed, agility and coorndination very often. I am glad to see Welker and Edelman getting targeted a little more. Hoping Welker can hit 100 yards receiving. I can't wait for the playoffs to N.E. can try and do things different this time around.

Abolutely. I've noticed a significent drop-off in the caste speak and denigration of white athletes in the last couple years. It's as if memos and e-mails have gone out from higher-ups. Not saying they did, but it's as if they did. Or somehow some broadcasters took a chance and read some of the articles, maybe even lurked on the discussion board for a while. Could be a lot of them didn't realize what they were doing, or how parrot like they sounded on the subject of white players.

Hell, maybe that little plug from Rachel Maddow put people on to the site. All I know is that a lot of the talking heads have been cleaning up their act.

And I don't know of anybody other than Don Wassall and Caste Football who has been beating that drum.

Seriously, RGIII's stats are absurd. He somehow is uncannily accurate, even though his deep throwing motion looks completely ridiculous. Only 4 interceptions all season. And closing in on a 70% completion percentage. Newton at least made plenty of mistakes last season and obviously tailed off during the second half of the year. RGIII's season is impossible to comprehend- rookies simply have never played like this.

How are RGIII's incredibly underwhelming receivers so wide open? On two of his TD passes, it looked like the Cowboys simply didn't cover future Hall of Famers Aldrick Robinson and Niles Paul. The media is clearly excited about the seemingly talentless Redskins surging. I do not accept that this overhyped black quarterback can be this great, from the moment he first stepped on an NFL field. Make of that what you will.

Can anyone explain the call in the Texans- Lions game, where Forsett was obviously down, and yet the officials didn't overturn the TD? The hilarious excuse was the Psycho Schwartz had, quite reasonably, thrown a challenge flag, and that this somehow negated the ability of the booth to review the play, as they supposedly review all TD plays.

The jet fiasco becomes more stupid with each passing day. Last night, Sanchez does really bad and the game is out of hand by the end of the first half. So why doesn't Rex Ryan put in Tebow? It turns out Tebow has two bad ribs but is suited up. To make matters worse, the third string QB is deactivated for the game. I wonder what the plan was if Sanchez had gotten hurt?

It goes to show you that the Patriots are by far the best offense in the league. Even with Gronkowski out they can still score 49 points! That's absurd. Edelman can step up at any point and is a legit number 2 receiver behind Welker. No reason he shouldn' be a full time starter.

Combine that w the zone read plus shanahans great run blocking scheme and defenses are confused. It's only his first year, teams will figure out how to stop him, they already can slow him down with short halftime adjustments, he didnt do much the second half 100 yards 1 td 1 int. he really doesn't take that many deep shots compared to the amount of dinking and dunking. When he does throw deep he isn't threading the needle or anything. It's a combo of great scheme and terrible defenses. Offensive schemes have gotten better tremendously over the years while defensive schemes have fallen behind and the talent has gotten worse plus rules that favor offense. I mean look at the Texans, they just got Whiter on defense and improved showing that teams need to stop ignoring White talent. Texans also have a great run blocking scheme, kubiak learned under Shanahan. Schaub is a good but not elite but puts up numbers. They were able to win a playoff game w a rookie backup rating of 97

Cam newton dresses like Carlton from fresh prince and has tried to act White. They wouldn't have had him drafted that high just to let him fall on his face. The plan looks more like to put any black qb out there that shows an ounce of talent, sometimes guys that just have the measurables and hoping some of them stick. I mean it's not improbable that one or two wind up being decent. I mean look at the past decade when they said the position would be revolutionized, tons of them got chances and only McNabb was successful long term. Dwfs have forgotten about the guys like akili smith, Aaron brooks etc. Brooks is an example of short term success. Had mike McCarthy as the oc, really didn't want brooks and upset that he had to adapt his play book. Brooks usually abandoned the play book and was basically playing backyard football w Joe Horn and took a while for teams to figure out while the Saints got rid of guys like Dellhome and Marc bulger.

Wilson should be the easier qb to figure out how to stop. The black quarterback for the 49ers will be the next to hype up. Good running game and they use the pistol formation. They play the Saints next and they have a tendency to make crappy qbs look like hall of famers

The fact is all qbs will eventually have to adapt to traditional pocket passing. The avg career for a rb is 3.5 yrs, franchise qbs need to last longer than that, so running isn't always going to be there to fall back on

Its time to be honest, and admit that Griffen is the best rookie QB ever. Scam WAS the best ever, but now its Griffen. Two years in a row a black QB has stepped up and done what no white QB has ever done.

Yes he has been taking first team reps all week. Reading about Tebow today surprisingly quite a few fans noticed the double standard, that Alex Smith can be benched after being a winner just because the backup was good for a game, meanwhile Tebow sits on the bench even though Sanchez is horrible and this is after Tebow took a losing team on a winning streak to a playoff win the year before.

black quarterbacks doing well doesn't help our cause IMO but the constant push for more may, as long as these guys keep getting figured out nd making the msm look stupid for hyping them up

The year before that the CM establishment was ready to elevate Josh Freeman to that heady realm before he landed with a thud last season. And before that it was Michael Vick, Duhmarcus Russell, Vince Young, and on and on.

It's just possible that Griffin is very talented. Some seem unable to acknowledge that blacks can indeed be excellent football players. When a third or so of the major college programs are force-feeding black quarterbacks, it's not that surprising that one now and then turns out to have serious ability. Griffin's rookie year doesn't bother me in the least after seeing what happened to the above-mentioned QBs. And if he turns out to have staying power, he'll have to see if he can avoid being injury prone given how small he is.

I really don't care if there are a few black QBs who are stars (Freeman may yet turn out to be the best of the current bunch). Given how desperately the Caste System and its hand-in-glove CM media want them, it's downright comical how bad most of them are. Quarterback remains overwhelmingly White; I'm much more interested in Whites getting fair opportunities at all the other positions from a young age up and through college and the pros.

Yeah, I think sometimes, our mission and goal on this site may prevent some folks from realizing that not every black NFL player is an AA bum who doesn't deserve his spot. I would estimate that of the 70% who make up NFL rosters, as much as 30-40% are good players who are deserving of their roster spots. That would still put their total number around 30% overall, which means the league should be around 70% White, a number we have often agreed on in the past, but that's for another discussion.

As for Griffin, he's certainly a good player with some skills. He also benefits from a system exclusively tailored around him. His success is not due to calls from the league office asking defenses to lay off him and his receivers. But using sCam as our example, let's see what happens next year when there's a year's worth of film on him to study. Is he cerebral enough to make the necessary adjustments and stay ahead of the defenses? sCam has utterly failed in that regard, as have many other black quarterbacks. And if he ends up having success long term, as the saying goes, even a blind squirell can find an acorn. So what if there's 1-2 black QBs doing well in the league, when 90% of the rest are White, including all the elite ones?

I'm with all the posters who are not that bothered by Griffin's or Wilson's surprising success, because there's a very high chance it won't be long lasting.
