For every negative Tebow article I've seen at least two or three are positive ones. That's an excellent ratio. The DWF's absolutely love this guy. How many first round quarterbacks have this kind of support? Very few!

The DWFs love him? I guess we here at castefootball must be DWFs. You have it dead opposite wrong. The DWFs have been drinking the media kool aid that Tebow sucks and Denver only wins because of it's defense. The positive articles you may have read this week are just reporting the Broncos win in which case the Tebow articles should be 100% positive, but any quick look at NFL talk shows and mass media articles clearly show that there are plenty of negative takes even on the heels of Tebow's 5-1 record and recent win.

How many first round qbs have the media screaming to not start him ever? None. How many have the media screaming to bench him after nearly every performance? How many first round qbs are first questioned if they can win, then if they can keep winning, then if they can go to the playoffs, and then to the superbowl? None. Your right whiteafflete, no first round qbs have this kind of support.

A relative of a friend is a head coach of a small high school's football team and he can barely put 20 juniors and seniors on the field while back in my day (late 70s early 80s) that same school would put at least 50 on the sidelines. Quite possible that football hits a demographic table edge and drops like a rock in popularity, but then again college football's popularity says differently.
Wow my old high school had two teams a junior varsity and varsity teams in the 70's. By the late 80's it was one team with barely 30ish players and by the late 90's was disbanded due to lack of interest after the equipment needed to be upgraded and the school drive failed to raise enough funds. My old high school actually produced a few CFL players and a former rookie of the year who played tailback in the pros.

Again Kaptain, you claim to be the genius on this site. Name a quarterback that is getting more hype than Tebow right now! You can't!

The articles aren't saying he's the second coming of Steve Young but they are saying he has a unique skill set and is a winner. Is that not enough for you? Why can't you take some positive out of it?

The media has acknowledged begrudingly that Tebow is a winner. He is still denigrated as a QB but recognized for his intangilbles. They don't like him but admit he is a winner. That's all that can be expected at this time because he is not a good QB in the typical mode of a Brady or Rodgers.

It's fun to watch because his play is so different then the other QB's. However he subjects himself to risk of injury by running so much, which is the criticism that was always leveled at black running QB's.

I don't think he can keep it up for very long. So enjoy it while you can.

He's only going to get better. He can pick up massive chunks of yards with his feet, has thrown only 1 interception to 8 touchdowns this season, and has proven he can complete the deep ball. The lack of good receivers on the Broncos is most of the problem at this point.

Why can't Tebow be our AHDIW(All He Does Is Win)? He has intelligence, and athletism. So if the coach can devise a game plan that features his strength ie: running, throw in some dinks and dunks and occasional long passes, then alot of teams will be thrown off and LOSE especially with the resurgent Bronco ground game(don't mean to sound like deadlift,LOL just joking).

The Divisional Champs and playoffs are a real possibility. Anything else is pure gravy. I am with WA 33, the sky's the limit with Tebow. Whats this negativity on CF??

i said it before, Broncos need a Hillis/Sproles/Woodhead like pass catching RB and at least one good TE. i would settle for Dreesen or, if it was possible Zach Miller or Kevin Boss which would drastically improve his passing game as well, right now it's all shots down the field, which are high risk high rewards kind of a deal. if Broncos can provide that, with Decker and healthy Royal they could do even better than they are now.

The Broncos sure are a strange organization. The got rid of Hillis who showed a lot of promise in his limited starts in Denver. They got rid of Brandon Lloyd who was their best receiver. Tony Scheffler was turning into one of the best tight ends in the NFL until the Broncos got rid of him after the 2009 season. It seems like this organization gets rid of their best players instead of their worst.

Thrashen says,

With the playoffs approaching, my “Superbowl Hopefulsâ€￾ from the AFC are New England, Houston, and Denver. With For the NFC: Green Bay, Dallas, and New York Giants (with St. Louis eliminated).

When I mentioned that New York's d-line could be dangerous if the Giants' make the postseason, you lashed-out at me and gave an overview of their team's racial-makeup.. and suggested that there was nothing much to root for. You also accused me of "wanting the Giants' to do damage in the postseason."

Right, which is why I was going for the Redskins' over NY in Game 1 of the season? Which is why I posted the myriad of season-ending injuries they had? I'm not a "fan" of this Giants' team, but Jake Ballard has been a good story. What caused your change of heart?

Recognizing that the Giants' could be dangerous if their offense and defense are clicking doesn't make me a fan or supporter.

Nice catch. It wasn’t a “change of heart,â€￾ I was just trying to select three teams from both the AFC and NFC. Unfortunately, after Green Bay and Dallas, the Giants and Falcons (sickening as it may be) are the next “whitestâ€￾ teams left in playoff contention. Personally, I’d prefer the Rams, the Vikings, or even the Eagles over the Giants or Falcons.

Last night, prior to the kickoff of the Saints-Giants game, Drew “Zulu High Chief†Brees again lead his swarthy hordes in one of their trademark pre-game chant / dance routines. I couldn’t identify much of what the “High Zulu Priest†was uttering, as he had already slipped into a heavy Trance-O-Treachery. Brees had transported himself into the “Wigger Realm†and was speaking in a deep, Ebonics-laden voice as he gyrated alongside his exclusively-Chocolate cohorts.

Such buffoonery immediately stirred my synapses to transport the archetypal portraits of dark-skinned aboriginal simpletons pirouetting around an auburn bonfire raging on the jungle floor, drums pounding, dark faces smeared with hideous paint, frail bodies cloaked with the hides, bones, and feathers of mercilessly-tortured animals, and tiny, tanned men and women shrieking to the heavens so that God may finally bring rainfall to their village.

The only words I could properly identify were absurd, yet utterly-requisite AfroClichés such as: “When da big dog be hungry, you know he’s gotsa eat! We go’n feed dat dere dog here tonite!â€â€¦.or something like that. This contrived, rehearsed gaiety (which was different from thier ultra-moronic “Who Dat†chant) went on for what seemed like 2-3 minutes.

Naturally, all of Brees’ intellectually-challenged black pals were thoroughly enjoying this laughable, wanna-be “tribal†ceremony ironically occurring within a stadium swathed in corporate logos. The black militia eagerly repeated the inarticulate words of their White Zulu Captain, bobbing their dullard heads to a non-existent beat, waiving their hands in the air, swaying to and fro on whilst sinking down to their haunches.

One player, however, remained motionless during these silly pre-game festivities. He stood upright the entire time and did not repeat Brees’ “Zulu War Hymns.†It was backup quarterback, Chase Daniel (#10). Perhaps Daniels was rightly embarrassed by this demonstration in de-evolution?

I honestly don't think any thing needs to be said about this kind of display. I started to watch the game and after two good plays with the seemingly prerequisite display I got bored and turned the TV off.

Jon Ritchie is a disgraceful pondscum. I saw this segment and according to him, Tebow only deserves "a smidgen" of credit for the Broncos success. This clown can look forward to a long career at BSPN. Cowturd needs no introduction. As for Beadle, I always thought of her as a useless bimbo, that is until I heard her defend Woodhead, Hillis, and now Tebow on more than one occasion, so I was wrong about her.

Jon Ritchie is definitely the biggest piece of **** at ESPN. The way he would talk about sCam makes Trent Dilfer look like a member of castefootball.us. He also hates on Tebow like no other. He's shameless. I've never seen anyone try so hard to curry favor with the CM media bosses as he does.

I've mentioned before that Ritchie is the most repulsive person ESPN has, to the point I click the remote the second I see his fat, ugly face. He's much worse than Merril Hoge and Tedy Bruschi, so that's saying a lot. Not surprised he grew up "admiring" his childhood pal/mentor Jerry Sandusky.

As far as Beedle is concerned, she might be the closest to "pro white" that ESPN has, which is not saying a lot. Whenever the girly-man Cowherd bashes the NHL and says "no one cares we are all watching the NBA", Beedle reminds him hockey is her favorite sport and tells him how she'll even tune in for bad games (i.e Phoenix @ Ottawa) over "key NBA matchups" on TNT. Also, in 2010 she not only rooted for Duke and Butler to make the NCAA finals, she claimed to be a big fan of (majority white) teams like Cornell and Northern Iowa. I'm sure working at ESPN she needs to a$s-kiss the affletes and bash some whites from time to time to collect her pay check, but she's 100 times better than many of neutered males in Bristol.

P.S: Trey Wingo also seems to be tolerable and is not blatantly anti-white, as many at BSPN are. But his silly thing/act about Rob Gronkowski being a "Cave Man" is just plain dumb. And, even worse, he seems to be reinforcing the "dump Polish" sterotype that has been around for decades, which is troubling.

Yesterday, Ritche was discussing the embarrassing incident in which Bengals WR, Jerome Simpson, violently flopped himself onto the turf (as if he were just struck by a car) after being barely touched by Browns DE, Scott Fujita, in hopes of drawing a penalty flag.

While the video played, and Simpson flung his body like a rag doll and landed on his back, Ritche screamed out something like: “Wow, that took some real explosiveness and athleticism on the part of Simpson! Nice jump, man! I couldn’t do that!â€￾

Naturally, I agree with the group…Jon Ritche is Caste-Incarnate. And to think, I used to root for this Corperate Piglet to receive carries during his time with the Raiders and Eagles...

Thrash, Ritchie is a total butt-plug, who's career was ruined/held back because he is white. First of all, even though he was a great runner coming out of high school, he was "stacked" at linebacker when he arrived at Stanford (after one season at Michigan)....Then drafted 63rd overall (today, with 32 teams, he'd be a 2nd rd pick) because he showed how much of a great athlete he was in workouts, I assume. No sane person would use a high pick on just a blocker, right? Raiders, did, as did several other Caste teams in the 90's -- remember Rob Konrad?

In 7 NFL seasons he ran the ball a total of 15 times for 36 yards. His last 5 years combined he had 1 carry for 1 yard. That was in 63 GAMES, mostly as a starter. Talk about a wasted career? Thankfully for him, he can extend his career and line his pockets by playing a modern day white "Stepin Fetchit" for the Bristol based Marxists over at ESPN.

*****

By the way, I'm surprised no CF poster brought up the Chiefs final play. Down 13-9 to the overrated Steelers, struggling Tyler Palko had a chance to pull it at the end. But not only did his "star" receiver run the wrong route, he refused to even go after the ball in an attempt to prevent an Int. that he clearly caused. Here's the GIF, as I can't find the extended Youtube video. His effort was so bizzare/lame that even Uncle Crissy threw a fit:

I don't know any of Ritchie's measurables but he was obviously drafted to be a human battering ram and blocker, nothing more. Even in college he rarely ran the ball when he was playing fullback.

I can't find his 40 times either, but I find it hard to believe a franchise that coveted 'speed' so much would draft him as only a blocker 63rd overall.

Even back in the late 90's, most of the blocking FB were merely 6th-7th rounders or UFA's. My guess is, like Rob Konrad, he ran fairly well in workouts and someone in the Raiders front office saw him as a Tom Rathman type -- receiver, runner and blocker. Perhaps even a Alstott type, as far as his short yardage rushing and receiving talents?...But once he got to the NFL, things changed and he was forced to just block for the "real athletes". He never complained, like Konrad did to a small degree. I believe Konrad decided to retire early because he didn't want to ruin his back/shoulder/spine being just be a blocker and was making huge money off the field. Back in like 2004 (or whenever he stopped playing), teams were trying hard to get Rob to reconsider and still play but he said he lost his passion -- and once even admitted it had a lot to do with his role, as he wanted more touches and thought his talents were being wasted.

By the way, at about the time the Raiders drafted Ritchie, they used a fairly high pick on a Jewish (white?) RB from Cornell named Chad Levitt, who the owner viewed as a young Mark Van Eeagan (sp?)...of course he didn't last too long because he wasn't big enough to block and didn't have the correct pigment to run the ball.

Here's what I found on Ritchie

*No. 63 - Jon Ritchie, RB, Stanford, 6-2, 248. He ran a 4.64 in the 40. Spent his first two seasons at Michigan.
http://articles.orlandosentinel.com...04190348_1_top-pick-chuck-wiley-olin-kreutz/2

5. Jon Ritchie, Stanford, 6-2, 248. Size, athleticism and ability to catch passes are the traits that makeRitchie attractive. An adequate runner who will fit better with a teamthat throws to the fullback. His blocking needs work; by no means is hea trained killer. Started his collegiate career at Michigan and, afterseeing limited action in two seasons, transferred to Stanford.

I wonder what his 40 time would be without the extra weight he put on to be a blocker.

Just reread everything that's been posted on here about the media's treatment of Tebow. I'm sorry you said something I disagreed with and I called you out on it. And I'm not a genius I'm just really really smart.

He would have been a 4.5X guy or maybe faster. He did catch a bunch of a balls in the flat as a rookie and then even more as a sophmore and then after that his numbers declined. You know things were cosmically aligned wrong when he was blocking on 3rd and inches and 4th and inches for runty Napolean Kaufmann.

He's only going to get better. He can pick up massive chunks of yards with his feet, has thrown only 1 interception to 8 touchdowns this season, and has proven he can complete the deep ball. The lack of good receivers on the Broncos is most of the problem at this point.

And now I'm going to agree with you so brace yourself. The less he is in the pocket the better it will be for his body. His biggest risk of injury is by standing in the pocket and getting hammered like the Detroit game. Since that game he has actually taken very few hits. Certainly nothing that would wear someone with his body down. When he runs he does not run like Peyton Hillis. The contact he takes on runs isn't all that bad if you've watched the games. He has played this style since high school and never seemed to wear. The one time I can recall him getting hurt (concussion) was from pocket passing - not running.

He does have one good receiver. His biggest problem is the ultra conservative play calling. Although I thought this week was much better than previous weeks. The success percentage in the NFL on third and long is only 29%. For three quarters of every game Tebow is only throwing on third and long. The whining about his completion percentage is way overblown by the Tebow haters.

I thoroughly agree with the sentiments expressed here about Jon Ritchie. He is right there with Dilfer, Hoge and Carter in being the most odious talking heads on the air, imho. When we see how reprehensible guys like Hoge and Ritchie really are, should we be surprised that they so willingly play the demeaning roles alloted to them in the NFL?

Skip Bayless is the only jock sniffer strongly defending Tebow, but he consistently ruins this by portraying Eric Decker as a mediocre WR. "Eric Decker? Are you kidding me?" is his new mantra. How twisted has our world become, when a guy who should acknowledged as one of the top young receivers in the game, and who has scored NINE TDs already this year, in only his second season, on a team that rarely passes the ball, is being proclaimed as some sort of liability by the one defender in the media Tebow has?

There is now a consistent campaign, started by rotoworld and echoed on most other fantasy sites, to label Toby Gerhart as "too slow" to play RB. Reliable caste stooge Michael Lombardi recently issued a statement blasting Gerhart's lack of speed. We all know that Gerhart is faster than half the starting backs in this league, but no one is ever going to call the Legarette Blounts and Mark Ingrams of the world slow, even though Toby can run circles around them. I certainly hope that Toby can break some big runs here soon, assuming he gets another game or two to actually carry the ball. He won't get another opportunity.

I'm glad I missed Brees leading the Saints in their incomprehensible pre-game ritual. I can't stand the Saints. No one can question Brees' greatness, and he puts up great stats with a pedestrian receiving corps, but his team definitely pads his numbers by letting him throw so much when they're ahead and also down near the goal line, when most teams pound it in (Rogers and Green Bay do this as well).

Thanks for that information, Lew. I would have thought Ritchie ran much slower than that. It's very difficult to find measurables for players from the mid 90's and before. It's surprising that he only had 15 carries his entire career. The average NFL fullback gets more carries in a single season.

Hurt my feelings? LOL! You must really be very confident huh Kaptain? Who is buying all the Tebow jerseys if not the DWF's? You don't think he's a fan favorite among the DWF's already. Very few white players can enter the league and get the kind of support Tebow has among the NFL fanbase. He had the top selling jersey last season for some time and it's almost definite he'll have the top selling jersey again very soon.

He's obviously a fan favorite in the league just like Wayne Chrebet was. Of course there are negative articles on Tebow. But I've also read my fair share of very positive ones. A few idiots like Merrill Hoge aren't going to affect his career.
