I thought of Switzer too. Will probably take a couple more muffs at least for that to become a possibility.

The Giants' demographic changes aren't nearly what we thought was taking place. Just 4 Whites starting and the possible "snow patrol" at LB consists solely of Blake Martinez. I took a brief glance at their roster and it looks like 14 Whites total. The Steelers have just 13.

New Giants head coach Joe Judge is another one from the Belichick "coaching tree." They've all turned out to be hard-core caste clowns except for the blackballed Eric Mangini.

Barkley with a drop. He may be bordering on overrated at this point in his career considering the hype around him when he came out.

Herbie and Fowler totally ignore the obvious push off from Claypool on that catch. Should of been offensive PI but these two gatekeepers of the caste system will not mention it.

Blake Martinez makes the tackle at the LOS and the only one to congratulate him is Kyler Fackrell.

While I know Barkley is very talented, I dare say might be overrated by the msm.

GB is foolish for letting Martinez walk... he is a very good player.

I agree. Barkley is a good player but he has been there for a few years now and the Giants are still not a good team. The O-Line looked pretty mediocre for the Giants but the MSM claims Barkley is some amazing talent. I thought Jones looked pretty good considering the Steelers made them one dimensional.

Jones looked good on that 19play drive keeping it alive with his feet twice. Then they rolled a right handed QB to the Left near the goalie and Ill advised throw by Jones ends a great drive. The Giants are definitely void of talent at WR and TE. Bunch of nobodies, OL had zero push I'll give Saquon that.

Noticed Fackrell and Martinez out there doing their thing.

Tough day for Gostkowski. 3missed FGs one blocked and one missed XP.

Fortunately Gostkowski salvaged something from a terrible game for him by making a short FG to win it. As Steve Levy mentioned a couple of times during the game he's likely a Hall of Famer, but his career might be over after this fiasco considering he was cut by the Patriots and there was no demand for him until the Titans recently signed him.

Martinez and fackrell looked good. Anyone remember Cooper Taylor the 6’5” 230 pound monster safety from Richmond who ran high 4.4 and never even got a slight chance with the giants? imagine how good he could’ve been.

I watched the first game and the second half of the second game without much volume. So the Steelers cut Switzer so a guy called Ray-Ray can return just kick offs? And hyped to the gills Diontae Johnson, a lesser player than Cody Thompson when they were at Toledo, returned 3 punts for 13 yards. One punt that was in the air for an hour he decided not to catch? And of course he muffed a punt next to the Giants goal line. Before the roster cut down an article specifically mentioned that the trickier punts were the reason Ryan Switzer ( bring in the white guy moment) was going to remain on the team.

The Saquon Barkley mystery continues to deepen. On a pass play he showed his open field skills and had a nice highlight reel leap. But he is also a "look at me" player. It all started at Penn State where the hype was way over the top. When little known Troy Apke ran a faster 40 than Barkley at the combine the Penn State hype machine couldn't let that stand. Before the combine there were hints Barkley might run a 4.2 40. He did run a fast 40 (4.40 ) but after Apke's 4.34 and better all around athletic testing the Penn State HC went out of his way to explain to the public that Barkley is much faster than his time at the combine.

Barkley claims he wants to be known as the greatest RB ever. Therein lies the problem. He isn't interested in doing the dirty work like getting three crucial yards and a cloud of dust? That appears to be beneath him. Like some home run swinging baseball hitters who strike out a ton he is only interested in home runs. Then he can bask in the drooling media spotlight. More interested in making highlight reels than helping the team in smaller ways. A dancer. Give me a plug ahead guy any day of the week. Sure he flashes talent. But if he keeps having games like last night at some points frustrated fans will say no more. He loses more yards on plays than any other RB I can think of in the NFL. Is he more physically talented than most running backs? Yes. Me I prefer Rex Burkhead types. Not as flashy but puts his head down and gets the job done.

By the way another media hyped wonder TE with a swift 40 yard dash combine number is TE ( actually a big WR) is Evan Engram. Last night he dropped easy passes and from day one he could never block. The Steelers pass rush ran over him over as if he wasn't there. So what good is he? Another combine wonder who hasn't come near his hype.

I like Ryan Tannehill a heck of a lot. Like Alex Smith the media has dumped on him quite a bit. In some ways he is like Alex Smith. Like Alex who was still playing very well in his mid thirties , Ryan has kept in great shape and still has that bounce in his legs. At 32 it seems Tannehill has entered his prime and last night he was sharp once again with a 29-43 -249-2 stat line. Is this the breakout year for WR Adam Humphries? He didn't gain too much yardage (47) but did catch 6 passes and it seems to me the more the Titans throw the ball to him the better off they will be. I think he might catch 70-80 passes this year. Just stay healthy Adam.

I watched the second game with low volume. Was the three man booth tolerable?

So after reading Shadow's post I'll just assume that Barkley is another "skill" player that will ruin the team's chances for success, maybe I should call this the Randy Moss effect. No Packer's fan was as happy as me to see Moss get a HUGE contract and the idiocy of Mike Tice caste cucker making the bold statement that Moss would get 25% of the touches. Too bad for that young QB of the Giants that everyone at CF is high on, my advice to him look competent enough so when the caste media finally wins against the caste cuckers who run the Giants that will toss him overboard he gets the Tannehill break. Thanks to the high prevalence of sociopathy amongst blacks we have a deep mine to dig in for material.

Lock looked pretty good last night. Showed off his big time arm - that td pass was great - throwing across his body into the middle of the field is usually a no no but he has the arm to make throws like that. I am excited to see him continue to develop. Funny seeing the broncos big time rb acquisition Gordon fumble too.

I really agree with the above... a guy like Burkhead isn’t really flashy, but he is very reliable (when healthy) and will get tough yards.

Barkley is talented sure, not denying that, but he has become boom or bust as of late. Great rookie season but more “potential” than delivery as of late.

CMC all the way, everyday. At this point not even close.

Yes Barkley is severely overrated. I looked up his info and I was surprised to see he weighs 233 pounds. He runs like a 200 pound back. Even with terrible blocking a 233 pound back should average more than 0.4 ypc on 15 carries. His pass blocking is garbage as well and it's the reason Daniel Jones got sacked so much last year. I don't understand the purpose of having him block on passing downs when he is basically useless.

This play where the safety takes the ball away from Jones, that was because Barkley can't block. Adams weighs 215 pounds and absolutely manhandles Barkley. McCaffrey is only around 205 and can stop a defensive lineman, I can't imagine him being manhandled by a DB.
