I caught about ten minutes of the Eagles game, including the touchdown that was called back. The announcers (Mike Mayock I believe) were relentlessly bashing Tebow the entire time, it was just ridiculous. As for the TD, it was initially ruled a score on the field. I can't fathom how the could even remotely say the replay had enough evidence to overturn it.

The constant bashing of tebow is ridiculous. Someone tweeted he still has issues with field vision. I think tebow saw him open but decided to run it in himself because he had a higher % of success running it in than passing it because receivers have been known to drop easy passes in the end zone. Then it got overturned to add insult. The league and media still has it in for Tebow. Hopefully Chip Kelly is smart enough to ignore the noise.

Jordy limped off the field in the first quarter against the Crawfords, hopefully it's not knee related.

Maybe aberdarris and janis both stick on the roster with nelson injury. Could maybe see an expanded role for janis and see both janis and nelson together in 2016. Maybe a small positive out of this awful piece of news.

here are Brandon Wegher's two touchdowns from yesterday:

the 9-yarder - https://vine.co/v/eDQnzn2iiYp

the 4-yarder - http://www.panthers.com/media-vault...d-TD-run/b8bb7f10-133c-4b0c-9d73-8916b938c2a4

on both of them, he makes something good where there was no hole for him to run through. he's an impressive talent.
One thing I found strange is that Wegher has such a deep farmer's tan that on these runs I forget that he is running the ball not a Mulatto player that I mistook for Wegher. On the two plays Richie Brockel is on the field and I mistook him for Wegher as I thought Wegher was about to take quick hitters from the fullback position for the scores.

Note when his helmet is off his face has a minimal tan so I know it's him.

I am right there with you - I feel bad for Jordy and it is a huge loss. Janis and Jared both have an opportunity here to make an impact.

Caste Cronie, John Lynch, on DT Karl Klug during the Titans-Rams game:

"You look at Klug and he doesn't match up to the profile. He's doesn't look like he's supposed to be here. But his high motor helps him get pressure on the QB."

There is endless racism against whites in athletics.

And what profile might that be Mr. Lynch?

Still can't believe what happened to Jordy today. My favorite NFL player, reminds me of a meaningless preseason game in 2000 when Patrick Jeffers had his knee blown out and was never remotely the same, this following his brilliant 1999 season. Difference was, Jeffers was hit in the knee (most likely on purpose) by the Steelers' Chad Scott, the same team GB was playing today. Scott hated White players, did his best to successfully thwart the career of WR Danny Farmer when the Steelers drafted him.

But I reminisce. Today sucks big time, really a sad day. Jordy has been a superstar at a position where Whites haven't been allowed to be superstars for decades. Welker was a groundbreaker in the slot, and Jordy was a groundbreaker outside, which is even more taboo. And like all White receivers who even get a chance to play his progress was retarded as he wasn't allowed to start until his fourth season. Just really bummed about this. . .

Nelson is the biggest weapon we have against the caste system. Bigger than the star white QBs, JJ Watt, Gronk, Weddle, et al because he is a legit superstar in the forbidden position of outside receiver. Horrible as this is, ACL injuries are no longer career treatening the way they were 15-20 years ago, so I expect Nelson to come back as good as ever.

Also, the way Nelson was walking to the locker room under his own power without a hint of a limp was rather strange. Normally, when people tear their ACLs, they are either carted off, helped off, or limp off the field. Could it be a partial tear, perhaps?

True. Yesterday, when Jordy first sustained the injury, it was initially reported as an “ankle injuryâ€￾ in the way he reacted, limped off the field, and walked to the locker room…

http://247sports.com/Bolt/Jordy-Nelson-exits-game-with-apparent-ankle-injury-38901988

A few hours later, they began reporting it was an ACL injury without an MRI. I will say that when Rob Gronkowski tore his ACL/MCL during a 2013 game against the Browns, he WAS carted off the field, as is the case with most knee ligament tears.

This sucks on so many levels. Not only is Nelson a top 3 NFL WR, but his talents were helping one of the handful of white-friendly NFL teams, and the Packers were poised for another SB run. We’re all hoping it’s merely a severe sprain or a partial tear, but it looks pretty grim. We should know later today.

And now the Packers are going to bring in Reggie Wayne for a physical. Wayne at his peak was a great wr but he is 36 years old and on the downside of his career as well as not in football condition since he has been sitting out all training camp.

I would much rather see Jared and Janis make the team. maybe if they go to a tanning booth and shown up to practice they can fool the packers into thinking they have unlimited upside.

Signing Wayne would make a bad situation worse.

It made me sick watching Jordy get hurt, but like some have mentioned, he was able to walk under his own power so that was a good sign. Hopefully he will be able to come back this year. When Carolina Afleet Kelvin Benjamin tore his acl cutting on a route he had to be helped off the practice field. I remain hopeful its not as bad as it seems for Jordy.

Nelson was only down for a total of 4 seconds, got up, and trotted off the field...

He then walked to the locker room, unassisted, with no limp.

Why do some players writhe in pain from a torn knee ligament (and need to be carted off) while others are fine? I saw a guy on my college football team tear an ACL during a 7-on-7 drill and he seemed to be experiencing immese pain and couldn't walk whatsoever, let alone jog off the field moments later.

The pencil-necked DWFs at Weenieworld are in salivating mode today:

ESPN Bills reporter Mike Rodak expects Bryce Brown to be traded or released. Brown has been buried on the depth chart all summer, and missed time with a hamstring issue. Brown has mouthwatering raw ability, but frustratingly little feel as a runner. Brown is still only 24. He'd get scooped up elsewhere if he's waived.

Then there's this article from Bleacher Report on four notable players who may be cut before the regular season. Two of the four happen to be Riley Cooper and Toby Gerhart.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...notable-releases-before-regular-season-begins

Every article about Cooper has to mention that he came in dead last in Pro Football Focus's subjective and seemingly very racially biased rankings of receivers, and all other positions. Even if Cooper was a terrible receiver when it comes to catching and running after the catch, which he isn't, his blocking alone is better than almost any other receiver in the league. I call major bs on Pro Football Focus, a cousin to the "scouting services" that always marginalize White high school football players.

Don spot on with your analysis of Pro Football focus. It's just another cottage industry that has somehow gained traction and become a reputable source of information to be regurgitated by the web of similar sites that preach it's "analysis" as gospel.

Bryce Brown is a useless stiff. No vision, whatsoever and even less awareness than the usual afflete(on that scale it's akin to being less tall than Verne Troyer)which is directly related to his chronic fumbling problem. Can't wait until he's gone----I'm tired of hearing about his "potential".It sure would be nice to get a white RB or two around here, but with this regime I can forget about that ever happening.Even the two true fullbacks on the roster are of the persuasion !!!

MNF - Bengals v Bucs

Good news - AJ Hawk started at LB for the Bengals
Bad News - Chris Conte did not start for the Bucs...

No sign of Morgus Hunt or Rex Burkhead thus far.

Winston sacked and Gruden immediately blames OT Reed Fragel. I guess Gruden nor Winston realize when the QB takes a 12 step drop, he inadvertently makes it much easier for the pass rusher to evade the blocker.
