Undrafted Rookie-free agent Running Back Brandon Wegher with the Game-winning TD w only 54 seconds to play...a 42 yard catch on a little flip pass ..displaying speed & diving into the end-zone! But all the announcer could talk about on the replay was Joe Webb

Webb is an affirmative action quarterback who's in the league solely because he's black not based on merit.

pathetic collection of Redskins fans, quoataback hyping media and Snyder are all doing their best to protect Griffin.
Amazing how performance on the field is no longer an indicator of being qualified to play the position.

Yeah, 21st Century Redskins have been pretty bad. An owner in Snyder, who resembles an enamored DWF, more than a competent & calculating businessman.. combined with a fan base that now has a lot of zealous ethnocentric hope placed in a disappointing Griffin. It's been a perfect storm of fail.
Snyder's hopes in an over-the-hill Donovan McFlabb.. coaxing Gibbs away from a successful NASCAR career to waste his time trying to recapture former glory. Been a painful 15 year experiment.

In Snyder's defense, he's put up a stong, principled defense of the Redskin name. Sane people understand the name was chosen to honor & channel a warrior spirit; he's stood up to the con artists and cultural Marxists saying otherwise. Imo, if this franchise can develop Cousins, Alfred Morris, and refocus on a Hog O-Line, they can be decent offensively.

Same can be said for Tavaris Jackson. For some reason he is talked about like some really reliable journeyman backup qb when he just flat out sucks.

I agree that as despicable as Snyder is, his defense of the Redskins name has been laudable. Of course he's only looking at it from a business perspective, but the end result is the same.

That play by Brandon Wegher was a good one - he showed explosion and breakaway speed...oops - I mean he rumbled, stumbled, bumbled and somehow managed to trip into the end zone.

In all seriousness that play will hopefully stick in the minds of the coaches as he competes against a 25 year old rookie Cameron Artis-Payne, the immortal Jordan Toddman and the oozing with potential Fozzy Whitaker for a roster spot behind the injury waiting to happen Johnathan Stewart.

I am glad to see Wegher get his career turned around after some bumps in the road at Iowa. Really hoping he makes the team.

Other observations:

I watched some of the Tennessee-Atlanta game. Matt Ryan is a damned good qb that doesn't get nearly enough credit. I am glad he will be in that division for the foreseeable future to keep da black men down - Scam and Jameez. Atlanta had tackling machine Paul Worrilow, Nate Stupar and Beirmann starting for them. Hopefully they can wreak havoc on the aforementioned black quarterbacks - along with Brooks Reed who is sporting an injury. They also have Tyler Starr who the coaches seem to be high on - he looks like Brooks Reeds little brother out there. Sean Baker seemed to get playing time on special teams and the announcers indicated that Kyle Shanahan was excited about the potential of WR Nick Williams (who I believe he coached in Washington). TJ Yates and Sean Renfree were both efficient in their time at QB. For Tennessee the only bright spots were Mettenberger showcasing his arm strength and penchant for making some nice throws and TE's Philip Supernaw and Chase Coffman. The Titans have become a pretty pathetic franchise IMO.

I also caught bits of the Giants - Bengals game. Burkhead looked good and seems to be growing into an offensive weapon for the Bengals - he suffered a minor injury but it doesn't seem to be a long term issue. Dalton was a solid 3-3 with a TD yet still disrespected in the media and with DWFs. McCarron is injured so the upside laden Josh Johnson played most of the game - no interest in that from my end. For the Giants Ryan Nassib disappointed - he puts to much "mustard" on the ball - he needs to learn how to put touch on his passes. Cooper Taylor did get to play and 2 of the Giants safeties were lost to injuries.



From reading about the Bills-Panthers game - which featured 4 of 6 quarterbacks being black it seems that Buffalo fans are giddy about Tyrod Taylor. They love how fast he is, he ran for about 50 yards so I am sure Fat Rex will annoint him the starter and as most of the flash in the pan black quarterbacks go he will have a couple decent games before the defense neutralizes him because he is a shoddy passer. Cassell looks to have played well too. For Carolina - Wegher who was already discussed and Bersin caught a TD as well.

The late games: Denver vs Seahawks - Osweiler continues to show promise and development as the heir to the QB spot in Denver after Manning calls it a career. He led 5 scoring drives. Surprising draft pick Trevor Semian also looks to have played pretty well. Jordan Taylor did not have a reception. Nothing of note on the Seahawks which shouldn't surprise anyone.

In the Raiders - Rams game it looks like Carr, McGloin and Ponder all played well respectively. Foles was 3-5 for 69 yards for the Rams, other than that the other QBs seemed pretty average last night. Kris Durham had 2 receptions for 26 yards. The real story looks to be those pesky, gym rat white linebackers Bryce Hager and Ben Heeney who both led their teams in tackles - Henney also got a sack.

I watched a little of the Rams-Raiders game and Heeney was all over the field. One of the announcers even said he plays like Luke Kuechly -- which may help to cut his racial apprenticeship from four years to three.

Other than Heeney (who is a backup) and the QBs, Oakland is going to be a dreadfully coal black team this year. Another one is Seattle -- with C Max Unger gone, looks like two starting White o-linemen will be it for Plantation Pete's team this season.

Looks like Logan Thomas' days might be numbered already! Its a shame the Cardinals didn't consult anyone here before wasting a draft pick on him. He is battling another black quarterback - Philip Sims who looks like a combination of a grown up buckwheat and an alien. I think it makes a little too much sense. I am sure Glennon or Cousins would excel in that offense as well.

They could of drafted him last year. Could of drafted Mannion, Grayson or Petty this season as well. Thomas was terrible in college and has proven to be just as bad during his time in the NFL.

Pace also left open the very real possibility that White could ultimately be shut down for the entire season.

Niles Paul, the starting TE for the Redskins, is also out for the season after suffering an ankle injury in the loss to Cleveland on Thursday night. Paul bulked up from 225 to 252 pounds in the off-season in an attempt to be a more versatile TE. Looks like that extra weight added to the stress on his ankle and probably contributed to the injury.

Sounds like Kevin White is on his way to bust status. He was already questionable due to the system he played in and this injury just compounds his chances to be decent in the NFL.

Coach Jay Gruden said it's "pretty safe" to say that No. 5 overall pick Brandon Scherff's long-term position is right guard.

Scherff was drafted to be Washington's starting right tackle, but the Redskins view him as a better fit on the inside. OL coach Bill Callahan wants to use Scherff as a Zack Martin-type interior pass blocker. Second-year OT Morgan Moses will bookend Trent Williams after playing just 131 snaps as a rookie.

I guess he wasn't athletic enough.:dizzy:

Im really excieted about Brandon Wegher. He is a younger version of Danny Woodhead. I knew his freshman year of college at Iowa that this kid could be special. He had 113 yards in the Orange Bowl. Then he left school and bounced around a while before breaking all state records at a smaller college.

I think the Panthers are going to play him alot. The running backs coach talked about his explosiveness. He showed it last night with a 42 yard reception td in his very first game. Keep a close on on Wegher. If he gets the playing time, he will put up good stats. So happy he didn't give up on football.

The first three, and Burkhead may be used more as a receiver to the extent he's used at all. Zenner will need several injuries to avoid not being placed on the practice squad or even cut. Gaffney has already been placed on IR for the second year in a row. Other than that, the occasional fullback carry ala John Kuhn.

One good thing about Wegher is his physical maturity and hopefully mental maturity makes him a better player. He is older than the usual rookie running back and his head should be on straight that could be an edge in landing a spot on the roster or having an inside track for the practice squad.
