Good, should have been done at the beginning of the season but better late than never.
With this, the Allen promotion and Newton still out due to Covid, we will have White men at 23 out of the 30 starting quarterbacks this week. Rodgers and Stafford are on bye. This is a big improvement from the beginning of the year.

Down to 8 black starters, but they're all entrenched presently. And Tua, who's a Marcus Mariota type, will be starting soon for Miami.

I will be interested to see what Newton's long term future holds in New England. I am honestly hoping he returns to the starting line up soon so he continues to wear down. Bridgewater is probably the only other QB that may face competition down the road or this offseason. I am rooting hard for Kyle Allen to play well and either force the Redskins to choose between the two. Lamar Jackson leads the leagues 31st best passing offense and with the Steelers, Browns and Bengals all looking competitive Baltimore may end up flailing down the stretch of the season.

As an aside when doing the Iowa write-up and researching WR Charlie Jones I was reminded of the Buffalo black quarterback Tyree Jackson who was getting 1st round hype prior to the 2019 draft. Can't help but be optimistic that the draft community's hype over the NDSU black quarterback may be more due to the draft "experts" than NFL personnel men. Jackson was afforded every opportunity during the pre draft process and still went undrafted.

Cowboys LT Tyron Smith is out for the season. He is actually a very good LT - not an overhyped sumo. It's going to be interesting to see how Prescott and Elliot's careers continue to go because the OL was one of the best since both of them came into the league in 2016. Travis Frederick retired, Smith's future is up in the air - Zack Martin is still there but other than that it's an average group. It is great to see the Cowboys defense implode every week. Mike Nolan is somehow still around - he made some disparaging remarks about white players during his stint as head coach of the 49ers. No LVE, no Sean Lee and No Jeff Heath = an awful defense!

NFL announces introduction of LGBTQ month. Thank you NFL. All of your fans have been anxiously waiting for that. Because that’s why we love football...we can’t wait for the next social justice movement to be recognized. In fact, don’t even play the games. Let’s just celebrate every race, color, perversion, creed, language, religion, disease, and gender.

Dt Joey ivey promoted to active roster, browns I think.

speaking of browns d linemen, I’m glad that it appears Gustin is a fan favorite with the respect of the locker room and even beat writers. He’s been playing great just hope he gets some flashier stats. Sheldon Richardson says he’s the most flexible linemen he’s ever seen and teammates compare him to a Greek god...

Dan Quinn is out in Atlanta and so is Dimitroff, Quinn was lucky to wriggle out of getting fired last season but losing 5 straight with a team that on paper should at least be 500 ish isn't going to cut it. The team on paper shouldn't be in the running for the Lawrence sweepstakes......https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...coach-dan-quinn-gm-thomas-dimitroff-0-5-start

Much deserved especially Dimitroff who has excelled at filling up the roster - especially the defense with overrated athletes. Ironic how their downfall began when they let Worrilow go after the 2016 season lol.

Raheem Morris named interim head coach - pretty sure he was the defensive coordinator during these past few years lol.

Watson is campaigning for the Texans to get the chiefs black offensive coordinator as the new coach.

In a way, I'm not completely against anything I think will bring about the demise of this league as it stands now. If putting more blacks in charge of teams accelerates that death of this crummy league, then let it happen I say.

Yep, the Texans and Falcons will be even more inept now with these guys running things. Like deer in headlights.

Peter King actually replied to part of my email to him. It was of course the part on Darnold and he didn't touch the caste system but here it is:

I SHOULD LAY OFF Sam Darnold. From CF Sports: “That was an unwarranted hit on Sam Darnold, indicating the Jets should draft Trevor Lawrence. The Jets are a bad team. Last time I checked Darnold is a QB and does not play defense. The Jets Defense has been laughable this year, one of if not the worst in the league. To write off Darnold right now is ridiculous.”

Perhaps. Question is: If you’ve got the first pick in the draft, do you pass on Lawrence even though Darnold’s been so-so in three years? (That, of course, could change based on how he plays the rest of this year.) Of the 35 quarterbacks who have thrown at least 500 passes since opening day 2018, Darnold is 34th in passer rating, ahead of only Josh Rosen. And you’re right: A good team that would acquires Darnold as a long-range quarterback (Jacksonville? Indy? Minnesota? Pittsburgh?) would be getting a steal if the Jets decide to take a quarterback next April.

Texans signed Kyle Emmanuel off raiders practice squad and it sounds like Jeff Heath may be in line to start

I don't really care if the coaches are black, as long as they are fair to white players. What pisses me off is this Rooney Rule BS, yet no one ever questions the lack of white players on the field. More blacks = OK More whites = racist. Case in point, the NHL and MLB's feeble attempts at marketing their sports to blacks in order to increase "diversity"

This is why the Jets are the Jets and the caste system is such a problem.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Jets released Le'Veon Bell.
Bell and coach Adam Gase have had multiple public feuds. This most recent one surrounding his playing time was the tipping point. The Jets were shopping Bell on the trading block all day Tuesday, but there were unsurprisingly no takers. New York likely would've had to eat a large chunk of his salary to get even a Day 3 pick in return. Instead, Bell will hit free agency heading into Week 6. Bell will likely try to attach himself to a win-now organization at this stage of his career. It's unclear if he'll be able to find a suitor immediately. The Jets signed Bell to a four-year, $52 million contract after he held out of the 2018 season and now have $15 million in dead cap following his release. He averaged 3.3 yards per carry in New York. Bad teams stay bad.

Bell has likely smoked more weed than Cheech and Chong put together. He was nothing but a head case and big-time locker room cancer in Pittsburgh, second only to the incomparably dysfunctional Antonio Brown. The Jets were idiots, even for the Caste NFL, for signing him to that big contract.

Every time I see an obvious train wreck like this coming I feel that I really could do just about as good a job assembling a football team as any of these supposed genius GMs. I wonder what idiot signs him to their team now (Cue the media pointing to Belichek).

Thanks for the updates. Kinda cliche Pats sign another White WR, Kinsey can play though!

Toohill is an above average athlete, should find a place to fit in there

Im not a huge Colin Cowherd fan but credit to him for having the stones to point this out, nobody else in the NFL media would bring this up. One is anointed as the most transcendent QB of all time while the other gets shrugged off as a system fit. I actually had no idea that their numbers where that identical, I wonder why the media doesn't highlight this?

Amazingly enough the Dolphins actually seem interested in signing Leveon Bell. This will probably mean the end of Laird in Miami. I also read a quote from Flores who indicated that Chan Gailey has most of the say with what happens on the offensive side of the ball - that is probably why Laird has yet to see any playing time. Gailey is a good ole' boy caste original.

Sounds like Bell is going to the Chiefs. Joining other malcontents like Frank Clark and Tyreek Hill. Another reason to root against them along with their annoying quota.

There go the Chiefs, all they had to do was keep Mahomes on his feet, ask the D to make a few tackles instead of looking for ESPN highlights and shazam a decade long reign of terror in the AFC but now they will most likely waste a year, possibly drive good people away and flub a few years of Mahome's career.

There was a guy here who said he could do a better job of GM ing a team and here is more evidence that he is correct.

I don't often quote Whitlock because I don't get all wrapped up in what black men are trying to figure out, but Whitlock who would know Bell way better than me basically wrote what I wrote.
