Best thing is O'Brien mortgaged their future on Tunsil and got fleeced when trading Hopkins away. I am sure the media is already lining up all the black head coaches that deserve this job. It would be fitting considering what O'Brien did to blacken up that locker room.

Looks like a repeat of the Jack Del Rio led Raiders which crashed and burned in a horrible manner.

What will be interesting to follow is if and when O'Brien reappears somewhere ( maybe college) will he revert back to being a good boy without the hovering front office caste pressure or has he become like Gollum and is now forever tainted?

O'Brien's sudden adherence to the caste system once he became the Texans head coach was a surprise to me. He had some great recruiting classes at PSU and Hackenberg would of continued to develop properly if he had stayed the HC at PSU. He also was the OC during the Pats Welker era so to see how he dismantled and destroyed the Texans roster was surprising at first. Just goes to show their really are no white friendly coaches out there. They are all opportunists and will not challenge the status quo.

Yep. In my last 3 years of watching HS football I think I have seen 4 skill players who were legit D1 prospects and two of them were white kids playing D, and I'll bet dollars to donuts they at best got the White Boy Walk On offer slap to the face.

Smart decision. I'm sure some will whine but he looked good last game. He kept it competitive and had 0 help from the running game. He led the team in rushing with 14 yards last week and still put up over 30 points
