Panthers released QB Cam Newton.
The No. 1 overall pick of the 2011 draft departs Carolina as one of the best players in franchise history. Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, Newton took and passed a physical on Monday. Newton's past two seasons have been wrecked by foot and shoulder issues. Formerly an iron man, Newton's aggressive style of play has partly caught up with him, though he is only 30 years old. Growing more efficient as a passer in recent years, Newton still provides sky-high upside as a dual-threat. The teams with the biggest need at quarterback are the Chargers and Patriots. The Athletic's Jeff Howe reports the Patriots do not have "any immediate interest."

When that nitwit pulled that act after the Super Bowl, sitting there with a hood on, is when the GM should have been on the phone right then looking to get rid of Newton - I'm sure he could have gotten conditional 6th-7th rounders for him.

Yeah, quite a brazen lie even for fake news Weenieworld.

Breshad Perriman leaves Tampa and signs a one year deal with the Jets. This is good news for Scott Miller and Justin Watson, and possibly even Spencer Schnell. Brady could really help their development this season if they aren't cut or otherwise screwed over.

Jets signed WR Breshad Perriman, formerly of the Buccaneers, to a one-year, $8 million contract.
Perriman locked in $6 million guaranteed, per ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Jets attempted to re-sign Robby Anderson, but were left with signing the poor man's version of him for just $2 million less after Anderson bolted for Carolina. Perriman will fill the deep threat role in New York with Jamison Crowder handling slot duties. A signing like this was necessary given their current depth chart, but it hardly prevents them from addressing the position early in the 2020 NFL Draft. Perriman will likely compete to be Sam Darnold's No. 2 or 3 target this offseason as a double-digit round fantasy pick. He had a career-high 645 yards as the Bucs' third option last season.

Of course Weenieworld ripped Vigil; have they said anything positive about even one White player during this free agent period? At any rate, Vigil is a damn solid OLB and hopefully will start for the Chargers along with Drue Tranquill, who looked really good as a rookie but who for some reason is currently listed as third string by Our Lads.

If they did draft Love and he fails there would be endless, unfavorable comparisons to what came before...

I realize my pro-Miami anti-New England bias is probably showing. I've always been a huge Patriot hater going back to the 80's before my awakening to the caste system. I remember they cost us a Super Bowl appearance in a possible rematch against the Bears that one year. It's hard to shake that even since my awakening. I appreciate what they've done in giving white players a chance, and at the same time busting the caste system, but at the same time I just can never bring myself to root for them. Seeing them end up with a black quarterback and turning into a complete caste team would be their just desserts.

As for Miami, they're probably going to take Tua. I've kind of just learned to accept that fact. Even though he's technically not a black quarterback, the caste media is hyping him up like they do with most black quarterbacks. Having said that however, watching more film on him, I honestly think he would be a success even without the caste system. I really do like his ball placement and accuracy. I think he'll be infinitely better than Mariota who was never really all that accurate of a passer. The key is, can he stay healthy. He's also a devout Christian and seems to be a good kid. His dad is a bit of a headcase though. Could be Todd Marinovich all over again if they're not careful.

Don't think so Don. MSM even got their jabs in about Joe Schobert signing too big of a contract. Vigil is a very solid LB coming off his best year as a pro, Cincy made a mistake in not keeping him. At least LAC Defense will likely have Tranquil, Vigil, and Bosa on it.

Packers are signing Devin Funchess. At least Gutenkunt is consistent in selecting tall WRs who can't run routes.

Newton should never be signed by any team, he is not very good even when healthy. Who wants a poster boy for your team who dresses like a "disco era pimp" wearing makeup and womens high heels?
Well said and couldn’t agree more!! The quarterback is supposed to be a leader. What man could follow a cross dressing weirdo with any sincerity?

My take on Tua is that if he was white he would be viewed as another "game manager" in the Alabama offense - I am sure AJ McCarron would of put up similar numbers if playing in the same offense. Even Mac Jones played pretty well after taking over for an injured Tua this year. I won't necessarily root against him but would prefer him not to be successful. Until white athletes get a fair shot at every other position my stance is always to root against a team that has a non-white QB - thats my line in the sand for better or worse.

I think every year you have to at least chuckle a little when you see how bad the Patriots are at drafting and as a Miami fan you do have to be excited about the end of the New England dynasty. I also wouldn't put it past Belichek to draft a black quarterback as well. I would love to see Stidham perform well though if he gets the job especially if Miami ends up drafting Tua ;)

Jaguars sign Tyler Eifert. They also signed Joe Schobert earlier but there's still not much to root for on that team. Now if they start Andrew Wingard at free safety they might not be as horrible as usual, especially if they continue to develop Minshew at QB. Wingard looked more than capable in limited playing time last year as an undrafted free agent, but a prolonged racial apprenticeship may be in the cards if he ever gets any opportunity at all as he's still mostly envisioned as a WSTD.

This draft certainly isn't the draft to expect them to whiten up their roster much either on the o-line unfortunately. I do like the Eifert signing for Minshew's benefit as long as Tyler is able to stay healthy. Minshew was fun to watch last year and also became a popular folk-hero type. He played better than Murray as a rookie and of course was overlooked and received no accolades.

Agreed Eifert should be a great safety valve for a young QB in Minshew. It seems like Jacksonville is confident in him moving forward otherwise they wouldn't have traded Foles.

Wingard is definitely a guy to keep an eye on and am very much looking forward to seeing Schobert.

Taven Bryan should lock down a spot at DT.

I forgot about Bryan, have to admit I haven't followed his pro career closely. I see he had decent stats last year for starting just 8 games -- 33 combined tackles and 2 sacks. Don't know if he's underachieved somewhat given his draft status, or if he's serving a racial apprenticeship.

Bryan, Schobert and Wingard would be nice to see starting on defense, but Wingard's a long shot at this point barring injury.

Excellent break down to all the above post!

Patriot DB Devin McCourty has been promoting/been impressed with Jarrett Stidham at QB. Even Dan Orlavsky(ESPN) can't see Cam Newton with the Patriots. Mel Kiper's Mock Draft taking Jordan Love in 1st Round @ #24 doesn't make much sense to me.

Boogar McFarland not convinced Gardiner Minshew is the full year answer; that "the Jags would be a good landing place for Newton"

The Undefeated ultimate goal to have 20 starting black QB's in the NFL; but looking down the HS Recruiting Services QB pipeline & 7 on 7 Camps ...Classes of 21; 22 & 23 remain a strong hold for the pale skin QB

Tom Brady may be 43 on birth certificate; but he takes care of his body = mid/upper 30's

Vikings sign Anthony Zettel!

This news made my day. We've had alot of good signings this off season but I really think the Vikings are my favorite team to watch. It used to be the Pats but
let's hope the Vikings keep moving in the right direction. What would make me really pumped is if they go after Zach Zenner again. They tried last year but failed
to sign him. Zenner is very intelligent but needs to use his common sense. If a team really wants you, it's time to go sign up. He was really screwed over by 3 or 4
different teams last year. Hope he initiates the discussion with Minnesota.

As for Antohny Zettel, I think the Vikings just got alot better on defense. He is a stud and Zettel has alot of good years left. The Vikings biggest needs in my opinion
are to improve the defense and offensive line. They could use another receiver too now that Diggs left. Thielen is the clear number one guy now and he needs someone
of similar talent to help keep teams from double teaming him the whole game.

I just ran across an article saying that Jaguars linebacker Myles Jack signed a 4 year 57 million dollar contract in 2019. That averages to 14.25 million a year. Talk about a bad deal for a massively overrated player.

So far in his career Jack had 24, 90, 107 and 66 tackles in his first four years. That averages to 72 tackles per season. Lol. Jack, however, is black so I guess that automatically makes him a great player in the minds of delusional white general managers and worthy of a huge contract.

Without Olesen Scam Newton wouldn't have squat, he should sign over half his paycheck to the man.

Just a random observation: Lots of no-name black players getting signed now as the big names in free agency have been scooped up. These are the non-descript filler players that comprise the back end of a roster - it's a precursor to next month when the draft will bring another at least 200 black players into the league - some who are very skilled and worthy of playing in the league while others are just drafted because they "look the part", play a position that whites are not allowed to play or because that have the unquantifiable upside.

I also noticed several XFL players have been signed by NFL teams - Nelson Spruce, Nick Holley, Austin Proehl are not among them so far.

The ravens signed an xfl long snapper from the vipers. I assume he’s white.

Taven Bryan is really highly touted by PFFs player grades, so interpret that how you wish! His numbers are actually very impressive considering hes not even a three down player. But yea I agree, hes far from a house hold name so its easy for DWFs to write him off as a bust because they dont understand the nuance of the defensive tackle position.
