I don't say that but throw around ****&t all day, I remember on the sports field if you got a hard hit and started crying and whining the older guys would say stop being a girl or a f@#%$t and even little boys didn't want to be that.

I have no problem with the expression "throw like a girl" (even though I can actually throw like a guy). Phrases like that or "that's so gay" or "quit being a retard" were just things that any kid in high school would toss around without worrying if it would offend any member of the ever-growing SJW Permavictim List that must never be criticized. And that wasn't even that long ago. I think it was only starting with the Obama administration that this language hysteria really began.

The new ideas put forth by the owners is being met with resistance by the players. They sort of like the extra playoff team idea and the extra pay including expanded rosters but the biggest point of contention as expected is the 17 game schedule and it seems the well paid stars are mostly against it while the lower level players are more open to the idea. The percentage of a pay increase favors the lower end players whereas for the stars it is a drop in the bucket. The main complaint is the increased chance of injuries. The owners tried to address that with one fewer preseason game and less contact in practices.

Is it me or why haven't the players addressed the playing surfaces? Why don't they insist on grass fields instead of these artificial surfaces that are better than Astroturf but still less safe than good old grass? Hell CM refused to play a post season college all star game which was not played on real grass. He knows the score. The owners save a lot of money not having grass and dealing with it's upkeep. Of course they are greedy that goes without saying. Still I can't help thinking the players too are being disingenuous.

Why don't the players insist on the stricter college rules when it comes to skull shots which would include instant targeting ejections? I think the black players are turned off by being excessively punished for cheap shots which runs contrary to their stated concerns about head injuries. Can someone please enlighten me on these incongruities?

Unless the owners come up with more compensation than they presented I don't see the player's union accepting that extra game. They are mulling it over for now.

WR Danny Amendola signed a one year contract for the Lions. Coming off a 62-678 season which were second best in his career in both categories despite the QB disruption during the season. Good for him. He has carved out a nice career as he started in 2009 with 43 receptions his rookie year and a whopping 85 his second year with St Louis.

He was sharp this year despite being forever thought of as an afterthought. Has had some bumps in the road during his career but has hung tough and persevered.

He is smart, savvy has good hands and runs proper routes. And he still has the quickness to shake free. The epitome of the smart slot receiver who has a clue.

Lets see if the Lions break precedent and start adding white defenders to their miserable caste laden defense?

Great catch. I met with Arizona Gov. Evan Mecham in 1989 in regard to something else that ended up being a "controversy" including national coverage. Though Gov. Mecham was not a racially aware White American, he was a principled one.

Mecham was a Mormon; that used to be a badge of honor as far as patriotism and opposing post-1913 America, but now Mormons are as deep state as any other faction.

Hurst was the No. 25 overall pick in the 2018 draft but is already going to turn 27 this year. Mark Andrews, drafted in the third round that same year, has breezed past Hurst on the depth chart, as Hurst has just a combined 43-512-3 receiving line across 28 career games. Hurst should have a market, but the Ravens can't expect more than a Day 3 pick. Andrews and Nick Boyle are Baltimore's top two tight ends.

Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot reports LB Joe Schobert will enter free agency and won't be back with the Browns.
Schobert is reportedly looking for something north of $10 million annually, which the Browns simply aren't willing to meet. The 26-year-old LB has been a three-down player for the past three seasons. Schobert racked up four interceptions and two forced fumbles in 2019, emerging as one of the defense's true difference-making talents. The former fourth-round pick has played in 61-of-64 games since entering the league in 2016.

Lotta white talent in the TE free agency market that is going to cause bidding wars and these guys will all get payed which is about damn time ! Rumor is the Packers are heavily interested in pursuing Austin Hooper, that would be a great fit.

It would be nice to see Taysom run his own team instead of being a back up Johnny but I suspect he will get a lot more snaps at QB next season and Drew Brees isn't getting any younger either.

I just saw the Bills signed Josh Norman - bad signing - had one good year in Carolina and some decent years but has been on the decline. Also he's not the type of locker room presence a team like the Bills needs. Poor decision by McDermott. I was hopeful about the Bills trending in the right direction but this draft probably will not do much to address their terrible sumo laden offensive line since the draft has a bunch of sumo offensive linemen in it

Cody Thompson was a player available in the 2019 draft that I thought, if given a chance, could have a good pro career. He was signed as a free agent by KC but is currently with Seattle. I think he can play the slot or outside.

His athletic testing showed he's a good athlete with an 8.51 RAS. He had a broken leg in college in 2017 but should now be fully recovered.

They would have to pick up a solid veteran qb for cheap. I think if it's just him and Brees then he is going to be doing less running and receiving. When Brees went down last year and it was just 2 healthy qbs his snap count declined. The good news is that he played very little special teams during that stretch. He shouldn't be playing special teams at all next year

The whole Taysom Hill situation is a conundrum. Arguably the most unique thing going on in the NFL surrounds Hill. In many ways the heir apparent to old timer Paul Hornung, Hill is that rare player who has too many talents.

A quick glance and you think well hell this is a scat back/slot receiver Swiss Army Knife who you can line up all over the offense. And he chips in with solid special teams play. Simple right? Not so fast. He also has shown NFL like caliber talent at QB, especially given the success of Lamar Jackson this past season making teams start to think having a running QB is doable these days.

I have to give Sean Payton some credit here as he has stuck with Taysom but I admit I still find it difficult to warm to Payton. I think it has to do with the fact his Saints teams never feature a white WR or white DB. But to be fair I feel better about Payton these days than I did say seven years ago. The Saints haven't been down the line caste when it comes to recent drafts either. So for a coach who seemed very caste at one time he has progressively become less caste over the years and that alone is a small victory.

But it seems they want to make the full commitment to Taysom as the successor of Brees. So I think dwid is correct. The gadget Hill we have come to know and love will be less apparent this year. He won't be a co QB but he also won't be a sheer back up either. I believe they plan to use him vigorously at QB which means he could play several series in a row as Brees rests. I think the plan is to install Taysom at QB in every game and his snap counts will vary a bit depending on the situation. Brees will start of course but expect a unique arrangement.

So it follows that Taysom won't be running around on special teams and you don't want to see the key back up QB getting splattered on a crossing pattern either.

So expect a lot more snaps at QB this season and less running around at other spots although they won't altogether eliminate his awesome Swiss Army Knife talents.

The next Taysom Hill might be Ole Miss QB John Rhys Plumlee. I don't root for him to fail in baseball but from a football point of view one can thank their lucky stars Plumlee has not done much at all this baseball season for Ole Miss. I don't need to go through the routine that goes like this: White player starts hitting the baseball and starts seeing stars in his eyes and drops football like lead weight. Then spends the rest of his life in the minor leagues. Another top tier speedy white athlete who succumbed to the lure of baseball only to stall in a no man's land.

If a white player has the talent to make it to the big leagues I am all for it. But too many white athletes who starred in both football and baseball in high school side with baseball and too often it is a big mistake. Baseball is very difficult to master. Of course Taysom Hill would probably be good at that too. Ha.

Nonetheless, I hope the Lonsmen is correct and Kyle signs a nice contract, with a chance to start. We all know he's an elite athlete, based on his 2015 Combine showing. That said, I remain very skeptical. Perhaps the significant interest they are speculating about, could be significant interest as a special teams captain (type)?

P.S, Breaking News: Aunt Crissy of NBC Sports' favorite player all time, Danny Trevathan, has re-signed with the Bears, which likely means Nick K. is leaving Chicago. Hopefully Nick does get a chance to start elsewhere. By the way, Trevathan allowed nearly a 88% completion rate in coverage last season. 28/32 targets completed (10 yards per comp). That doesn't account for the possibility that one, two, three or all four non-completions were flat-out drops. Translation: Trevathan probably can't cover Aunt Crissy (former Bengals WR) right now, at age 61, but he's still scheduled to start for Rodent Nagy?

Despite being absolutely putrid in coverage last season, Trevathan was Pro Football Focus‘ No. 39 linebacker among 89 qualifiers. Shows how legit PFF's rankings really are. PFF was founded by, you guessed it, Aunt Crissy!

I only hope Kwiatkoski gets respect in free agency and is signing to a team that will give him the starting job.

I also saw Hunter Henry was franchised by the Chargers - if they end up starting Idler Arm or drafting a black quarterback Henry will be relegated to the white safety valve position almost every non-white QB enjoys. He is also going to waste away in front of XFL sized crowds once again playing with the Chargers.

As pathetic as the current Bears' management team is, I still thought they would at least attempt to retain Kwiatkoski. But it's a break for Nick as even after the way he was screwed over in Chicago for four seasons he should still be one of the most sought after free agents at linebacker. But as always, this is the NFL we're talking about.

I hope a team in the NFC Central signs Kwiatkoski and he comes back to haunt the Bears twice each season for years to come. I really like Mitch Trubisky and hope he can somehow find a way to thrive under almost impossible circumstances, but otherwise want to see Rodent Nagy and Pace fired after yet another disappointing season in 2020.

Supposedly Packers have interest in Kwiatkowski and Schobert. Kwiatkowski probably makes more sense financially, Schobert should get top dollar.

Also heard Washington and New York have interest in Martinez who is seeking at least 10mil a year contract. If Martinez goes to NY, Giants instantly become watchable assuming they play Martinez alongside Connelly (who they are high on. But recovering from ACL). Potential for a Snow Patrol as they just resigned David Mayo to a 3yr deal!!

I absolutely agree about Hunter Henry. I was hoping he'd find his way out of Los Angeles. Henry is a fantastic tight end (when healthy) playing a position where whites are still allowed to thrive, so he's going to have to pay the price and remain tethered to a very irrelevant Chargers team, which seems to be going nowhere with no quarterback and Anthony Lynn as their head coach.

I'd love to see Blake Martinez sign with the Giants, more so than the Redskins, who already have several whites starting on defense. Considering how mediocre his coverage stats were last season, I think $10 mill per season might be a pipe dream? I'd assume the only white linebacker that has a chance at 10 mill per season is Joe Schobert, who I'd love to see in Green Bay. Getting back to Blake's stats in coverage last season, I broke the numbers down a few weeks ago and he was not as bad as several high profile black linebackers, but we all know he will not be judged the same way. As I posted last month, Kwon Alexander was signed to a 4 year/$54 million contract last spring after being burned for a 92.3 % completion percentage in six games for Tampa (prior to injury) back in 2018. Any white linebacker toasted at that rate would be out of the NFL or permanently relegated to special teams....not be handed $54 mill/27 guaranteed as a free agent.

Bucky, nice job bringing up David Mayo. I've been very critical of Pro Football Focus' rankings. However, I have to admit I'm pleasantly surprised (actually stunned) that such a notoriously anti-white site would rank Mayo as high as they did, considering he was a white, career special teams mascot that was cut last summer. PFF ranked Mayo 14th among 89 qualifiers, which was undoubtedly helped by his solid coverage stats in 2019. Hopefully he really does have a chance to start, but I'd assume the re-signing of Mayo, coupled with the return of Connelly, probably means Martinez won't be vigorously pursued by the N.Y Giants?

We should know right after midnight if the players accepted the deal to expand to 17 games for 2021. All indications point to yes as the rank and file players will likely overrule the big name ( and big paid) players.

That said expect the NFL to dominate the airways the next week ( what else they can talk about with the sports world in a deep slumber?) or two due to free agency ramping up next week. Which means we will get constant updates on Tom Brady like how many times he frequents a bathroom each day. I admit this story does gives extra juice to off season NFL talk.

The media has been all over the map with Tom. Might stay in New England? Or land in Tennessee. Or Vegas? Or San Francisco? Or Tampa Bay? Los Angeles Chargers? Like dogs following scents that have dried up no one seems to have a clue of what will go down with Brady.

I am weeding out Las Vegas and San Francisco. I think Tampa Bay is also a long shot. So the Titans, Chargers ( Tom likes top TEs and Hunter Henry see above is a good one) and Patriots seem to be his most likely landing places. But I am just as clueless as everyone else. Of course if it say the Titans where his friend Mike Vrabel is the head coach Ryan Tannehill will move which begs the question of where he will end up?

Other quarterbacks of media interest are Philip Rivers ( Colts?) and Teddy Bridgewater ( I have no idea).

And there are several white free agent linebackers which have been mentioned here of great interest. I am especially interested in seeing where Joe Schobert lands. Guy had a magnificent season. I hope it is the Packers and I am sure that will make Bucky happy. Also don't forget Sean Lee is a free agent too and he has some mileage left based on his superb play last season. Nice to see athletic edge Kyle Emanuel ( see posts above) getting back into the mix. He is still young enough to carve out a nice career.
