Michael Campanaro meeting with the Titians but supposedly the Ravens are interested in bringing him back too. I hope the Ravens sign one but not both. I’d still prefer Decker to the Raiders.

It's reminiscent of how there was no market for Brian Hartline even as a backup not long after his back to back thousand yard seasons. Even Jordy Nelson, seemed the Raiders and Saints were the only teams interested in one of the great receivers of the past 25 years whose production tailed off only because of the lousy QB throwing to him last year. And given Sean Payton's very long record of screwing over White receivers I doubt the interest in Nelson by New Orleans was serious.

White receivers continue to be kept on the league's fringes, even highly accomplished, exceptional talents who have overcome all the Caste barriers placed in front of them.

Decker still has at least 2 one thousand yard seasons left. He played with a mediocre QB last year and still put up decent numbers even though he played 3rd/4th fiddle in terms of targets. Like you said Don - very good white players get overlooked while scrubs who "have the look" get chance after chance. It will be the same in the draft as we will see over a hundred mediocre black players get picked up while the better, more accomplished white players get overlooked because they are white.

That’s why I was so pleasantly surprised to see the market for Amendola, who got a $12 million deal despite being 32 years old and having a long history of injury.

Jordy got a $14 million contract and he’ll be 33 when the season starts.

Janis’ deal with Cleveland is that of a special teams player and emergency WR should the black receiver gets injured or suspended: one-year deal for $1.25 million. No guaranteed money, base salary of $1.15M, workout bonus of $100,000.

Let’s hope Decker can find a home. Aside from the Ravens, some rumors have him returning to the Broncos. After a horrendous start to the season in Tennessee, he actually finished with 563 yards. Of course, he was also very good in their playoff win against the Chiefs.

Interesting posts above regarding white WR's. I agree with Don about Sean Payton. He is one of those coaches I just do not like. In fact when a rumor went around that Decker was going to meet with the Saints Payton himself shot it down. The Saints have drafted some white defensive players recently so I don't want to go full hog on Payton but he has never supplied Brees with a white skill player and when one does arrive like TE Coby Fleener he is used as an afterthought.

The Camapanaro status is worth keeping an eye on. Late in the season he was coming on as a slot and he is one of the best return men in the game. But like Rex Burkhead he gets injured getting out of bed. Like running over a ball boy or something at the key end of their playoff game where they could have used him. Titans are mentioned but can a white WR thrive with Mariota? Probably HELL NO.

No idea where Decker will end up but whoever does they need to PLAY him unlike the Titans who fiddled around and even the Jets. Both those teams had lousy QB's who didn't do him any favors.

The Patriots are close to adding WR Jordan Matthews which would be a dull pick up. And perhaps squash the hopes of Riley McCarron making the squad albeit Riley would be perfect as a punt returner which they desperately need now that Amendola is gone.

At least the Pats got rid of poster boy work out warrior stat stuffer Cooks. When a player just starting his career gets bounced around usually there is a good reason. Sure his stats look nice and everyone can squeal about his straight line speed but the truth of the matter is he overrated. Brady had enough of him and his inability to follow instructions. Simple. If you can't do what Tom Brady tells you to do get the hell out of town. And for a "downfield" threat he never won contested balls.

Unlike most years the Patriots have 2 first and second round picks. They may still jump around. One rumor has them getting Baker Mayfield which would be quite a coup. They also need an OT of course but that defense needs a ton of help. I would start with DE/Edge Sam Hubbard. He could be their next Ninkovich type of player. You know the smart edge player who snuffs out things properly. Something they were missing in spades last season.

Don't know if he's been mentioned before or not here, but Brandon Zylstra is trying to follow Adam Thielen's path. Like Thielen he's from Minnesota and there was no recruiting interest in him. He ended up in the CFL and last year had 100 receptions and a CFL best 1,687 yards. Hopefully he can catch on with the Vikings this season.

Since he had 100 catches and 1600 yards he's already a good pro receiver who belongs in the NFL. The fact that he couldn't get a Division 1 scholarship is proof of the anti-white racism that is prevalent in football. White men are heavily discriminated against.

Heck, even JJ Watt, one of the greatest defensive players of all time was forced to be a walk on in college.

In the mix will be converted safety Nate Gerry, Joe Walker, who really needs to stay healthy this year, Nigel Bradham who's a passable starter, but nothing special, and Mychal Kendricks, who supposedly has one foot out the door.

However according to DWFs and local talking heads, Worrilow is nothing more than a depth signing. But from the couple articles I've seen, Worrilow had a number of teams interested, including the Patriots, so I doubt he signed on to be a backup.

Worrilow could compete for the starting middle linebacker spot. He's excellent against the run.

Free agent OLB Aldon Smith was arrested on Friday for allegedly violating a condition of his electronic monitoring. He was booked in San Francisco County Jail at 5 PM on Friday and is still in police custody after bail was set at $500,000. Smith appeared in court Thursday for allegedly violating a protective order stemming from a previous domestic violence arrest and was ordered by the judge to wear an electronic monitoring device that detects alcohol in sweat. In the past two months, Smith has been arrested three times, gone to rehab, been cut by the Raiders and now his fiancé is leaving him. The 28-year-old is due back in court on Wednesday.

Kevin Hogan was traded to the Redskins from the Browns for a swap of 6th round picks. I liked Hogan alot in college - should be interesting to see if he develops into a potential successor to Alex Smith - they both have similar builds and styles of play.

I liked Hogan as a prospect when he came out in 2016. I thought he was a potential starter in the NFL. He was drafted in the 5th round but was cut by the Chiefs. He was picked up by the Browns who, of course, traded him to the Redskins.

I'm also interested to see how Hogan's career develops. Getting away from Hue Jackson and the Browns can only help Hogan.

Richie Icognito retired today, he stated his kidneys and liver weren't functioning properly because of football.

I suspect it's because of painkillers and being heavyset. He was one of the few White linemen who I actually would define as obese as he had a true gut, but he played very effectively until the end. Incognito played 12 years in the NFL, excluding the 2014 season when he was banished. That's a little longer than most good offensive lineman, due to the punishment of the position. Patriots owner Robert Kraft visited rapper Meek Mill in the State Correctional Institution in Chester, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, NBC Philadelphia reports.

Kraft was joined by entrepreneur Michael Rubin as the two offered support to Meek, who was sentenced to two to four years in prison in November for “violating his probation after failing a drug test, traveling out of the region and getting arrested for fighting and other related offenses.”

“Amazing young man. I know how I’d feel if I was in the situation he is,” Kraft said afterward, via NBC Philadelphia. “Every time I see him, I just come away more impressed. He’s very intelligent. [It] makes it clear to me we have to do something with criminal justice reform.”

Kraft called Meek Mill’s imprisonment “just sad,” adding, “He shouldn’t be here.”

The Eagles used Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares” as their anthem in the postseason. Meek Mill, whose real name is Robert Rihmeek Williams, is a Philadelphia native.

I agree Football that Campanaro will likely not flourish with overrated Mariota. But like Jeff Janis it appears the Titans, like the Browns with Janis, signed him above all else for special teams duties. Campanaro is an excellent KR and PR and will likely be used as a bench option at WR. The Titans do have a new coach and it seemed like the Ravens never had much interest in developing Campanaro. Sure injuries played a role but there were some weeks where he was listed inactive for no apparent reason. Perhaps with the Titans he will return both punts and kick offs and won't be jostled around from week to week.

Janis will play special teams but unlike Green Bay I would hope they utilize him to return kicks as well.

Both players could see time at WR but I wouldn't put all your hopes into that scenario. In both cases I suspect it will be a change for the better. Sure returning duties are not as glamorous or as fulfilling as seeing steady action at WR but I DO ENJOY watching white players return punts and kickoffs. It is better than nothing that is for sure.

Based on the buzz, Jackson appears to be a lock for the first round, and it does not seem likely he falls to New England at No. 23 overall. With four of the first 63 picks, however, the Patriots have the ammo to move up if they so choose. Oklahoma State QB Mason Rudolph could also be an option as New England looks for its next quarterback of the future.

And here's yet another one of those "character" guys the NFL specializes in, a first round draft pick by SF in 2017. How much you wanna bet he never serves a day, and most likely eventually the charges will conveniently be dropped for one bs reason or another: 49ers LB Reuben Foster was charged with felony domestic violence by the Santa Clara DA on Thursday. The charge stems from an incident in February in which Foster was accused of dragging his live-in girlfriend and punching her "8 to 10 times" during a dispute. In addition to the domestic violence charge, Foster is accused of forcefully attempting to prevent the reporting of a crime, possession of an assault weapon, and misdemeanor possession of a large capacity weapon magazine. According to the DA, he is facing more than 11 years in prison if convicted.

This is obviously a complete fabrication. What teams other than the Patriots are interested in Jackson? Why doesn't he name them the way he did the Patriots? How does he know the Patriots are "most interested." On what basis does he make his comparison?

The reports I read say teams have concerns about his intelligence and football acumen. His performances at the whiteboard have been reported as being not good.

Leftists are constantly trying to build up blacks as being intelligent when they're not. It's part of their black supremacist agenda.

Jackson scored a 13 on his Wonderlic, which is very low for a quarterback. All you have to do is listen to him talk to see he's not very smart.
