Dolphins trade for C Daniel Kilgore. It looks as if Miami is going to have a 3/5 white OL this year, barring they don't draft anymore sumos.

I thought of you when I saw the overrated Pouncey was released. Hopefully they also get a couple more white OL and a white TE.

Information on Janis is predictably scant. There are a few "curious" teams wondering if his WR potential has been properly tapped.

On the other hand Janis is seen as an important Special Teams player. Oddly the Packers have given him short shrift when it comes to being a Kick Returner despite putting up very good numbers a couple of years back when he was their main KR.

There is a general feeling though that the Packers will resign him although that is not set in stone by any means.

Janis WILL remain in the NFL though one way or another. He is an all star caliber special teams player and so he will be around for at least another two or three years.

Yessir it's a damn shame he's only seen as a White Special teams Demon when we all know what he can do as a WR! But as you said at least it's extending his NFL career..m

Regarding Janis, I just found this as part of a longer article. Makes my blood boil that McCarthy is such a caste coward. The only possible explanation for Janis never given time to develop as a receiver is that he's just too stupid to understand the position, and who believes that given the Wonderlic numbers of so many black NFL players. Article snippet:

Janis Is Still the Combine King
My second reason for perusing the combine results is to verify that Jeff Janis is indeed a once-in-a-generation athletic talent – and that Mike McCarthy wasted that talent for four years.

As some of you know, I once did a study of 589 wide receivers who underwent full combine testing since 1999, and the Packers Jeff Janis came out tops overall. No one approached him in 2017 either, and there is no one within shouting distance, athletically, of Janis in this 2018 class.

This makes it over 650 wide receivers, and Janis is still the overall NFL Combine leader at wide receiver. The marks Janis put up in 2014, which indicate no weaknesses in any area, were (percentile ranking among WRs in parentheses):

  • 40-yard dash – 4.42 sec. (83)
  • 10-yard split – 1.47 sec. (95)
  • 20-yard short shuttle – 3.98 sec. (94)
  • 3-cone drill – 6.64 sec. (91)
  • Vertical Jump – 37.5” (77)
  • Bench presses – 20 reps (89)
  • Height – 6’3” (82)
  • Weight – 219 (89)
I predict that some smart team is going to get a steal of a deal in the free agency market in as little as a week’s time. [only if a team is "courageous" enough to sign him - DW]

Jordy watch------is over.

Jordy signed I believe a two year contract with the Raiders for 15 M, 13 is guaranteed.

Magnificent job by Gruden. Wanted a leader in the club house and landed one.

Expect a step up from last season. Great pick up. Other teams went nuts trying to get him but the Raiders played it right. Jumped in first cornered him with their QB, wined and dined him and all of a sudden the Raiders are a different team.

This is great news! 2 years ago we had an all black offensive line LT-Albert LG-Tunsil C-Pouncey RG-Bushrod RT-James and they f*cking suuuuuuuuuuucked. It finally appears as if Miami has a halfway competent offensive line now. Great news for the team and for Tannehill who's probably only one season away before being run out of town unless he can come up big this year.

I did not foresee Gruden being so white friendly. Pretty stunning development. Interested to see what the draft brings for the Raiders

Mr. 1-31 announces his starting QB for 2018. And to no one's surprise the winner is:

Browns coach Hue Jackson stated Thursday that Tyrod Taylor will be his starting quarterback for 2018. "He's going to be the starting quarterback," said Jackson. "There is no competition." DeShone Kizer was the NFL's youngest starting quarterback in league history last year, yet Jackson benched him repeatedly. It sounds like Taylor will have a longer leash, although the pressure to play quarterbacks drafted No. 1 overall is always immense. We expect the Browns to draft a quarterback first.

Does anyone think the Browns may pass on a QB at the #1 and #4 picks? I could see them possibly doing this especially if Lamar Jackson is their guy. Jackson is basically Tyrod Taylor 2.0 and would probably be more to Hue Jackscums liking. Plus, having a white QB be mentored by a bum like Taylor doesn't seem to be a very good way to develop a young passer, especially since Taylor is Captain Checkdown. Then again this is the Browns we're talking about. No one knows what the deal is with them.

Re-signed Lee Smith, Signed Derek Carrier and Griff Whalen. I know it may not sound like much but it is night and day compared to Black Jack and McKenzie's rosters.

The Raiders had sunk so low that they have nowhere but to go up. I'm happy with the Jordy signing. $13 million guaranteed is good money, compared to the veteran minimum ($1 million) that GB wanted him to play for.

I get the business side of it, but such unbelievable disrespect towards one of the best WRs in team history is puzzling. It's not like Jordy is some washed up bum who should be thankful to play for chump change. Until Rodgers got hurt, he was on his way to another 1000 yard season and double digit TDs.

I think the Bills are going to target Darnold or Allen in the draft. That would give them the franchise QB they have not had since Jim Kelly. My gut is telling me that Darnold is the guy Buffalo wants.

I agree, LF. Although Darnold had his issues last season, he seems to be the more complete qb in this class. I do feel bad for Peterman though. It does not seem his opportunity to start will be in Buffalo. It's unbelievable they decided he could not be a starter after just that one dreadful start. Kizer got how many games? One of the soyboys over at weenieworld even coined Peterman as Nathan "5 pick " Peterman.

In some quarters of the internet the Jordy signing is being received as tepidly as the Alex Smith signing. Let them whine. It will be all the more sweeter when Jordy finds his second wind. Hard to look good with a half ass QB like Hundley either missing throws or ignoring him altogether.

And as weird as it is to not see him in a Packer uniform this gives Jordy a chance to add needed leadership to a team that had some attitude problems. There were even rumors of sabotage last year. Remember that? No wonder Derek Carr did everything he could to lure him to the Raiders. Jordy will provide a stabilizing presence.

See below a happy Jordy at the signing ceremony.

I will say Holy ****! the Raiders are dark. I just looked over their roster - whole offensive line is still sumo. They have 11 picks - it will be interesting to see what happens.

I do remember DB Anthony Cioffi playing well for them last preseason before getting cut (of course). He worked out at Rutgers pro day. Hopefully he gets another shot.

That's what I was thinking. I seem to remember Carr being the only white starter, and that even their backup WR's and TE's were all black as well. Jack Del Rio might be the biggest caste clown in the history of NFL head coaches. Who could forget his stable of awful black quarterbacks in Jacksonville?

Free Agency is always a good way to see the caste system in action. Take Bills recently re-signed RB Travaris Cadet who's career statistics are laughable however he has been able to stick in the league since 2012. This guy has a job yet Zach Zenner is on the fringes of free agency and will probably never get signed.
