I have a real pet peeve about the usage of the word "liberal" to describe the modern Democrat party. I'm a classical liberal, which is basically freedom+responsibility. Abraham Lincoln was a classical liberal, as well as nearly all of the founding fathers.

These guys are Cultural Marxists, and need to be addressed as such. Calling them liberals plays in their favor. If we all called them Marxists, or Communists, it would make a lot of hiveminded sheep think twice about voting democrat. Use their tactics against them guys. Psychological warfare is a big part of this...

Not to get overly political, but liberal and leftist may not be exactly synonymous, but close enough....It certainly means HRC/BHO, etc........It means CNN/MSNBC....It means open borders, not in favor of death row but ok with abortion, affirmative action, everyone gets a trophy, forced diversity, BLM, political correctness to the nth degree, liking Anderson Cooper and watching him pee in his little girl panties when Trump says shithole.....Lincoln was a republican, he may have been a classic liberal, but that was 150-160 years ago.....The Dems today aren’t anywhere close to JFK Dems and barely resemble Bill Clinton era Dems. Perceptive post, other than Tomlin's job is still very secure unless the team falls apart, and a 13-3 regular season doesn't indicate that being on the horizon. Of course it could happen in rapid fashion when Big Ben retires. They're also fortunate to have the league's best receiver in Antonio Brown and one of the top three running backs in Leveon Bell. Long-time GM Kevin Colbert, who keeps a super-low profile, is a Caste disciple but overall drafts well and is shrewd enough to secure key components like Big Ben, guard David DeCastro, T. J. Watt, and the team's long-time former tight end Heath Miller.

Tomlin is smart but he isn't an Xs and Os coach, and he's not a strategist. He's basically the black players' buddy, one of them just older. He's arrogant and scratch the surface and you'll find a committed BLM type militant. He can barely contain his thug impulses and he hired a genuine thug in his best buddy Joey Porter to be the linebacker coach. What a joke hire that was.

The team's culture is all about having fun and the black stars are prima donnas who regularly stir up drama. Not a recipe for winning a Super Bowl. But Tomlin did win a Super Bowl early on with what Bill Cowher left him and has an excellent regular season record and as long as that continues his job is secure. He's really the poster boy for the Rooney Rule, and he's on the Rooneys' team, so I fully expect him to be around for a long time. Unlike the other teams where head coaches are being made the fall guys for the failure of black quarterbacks, on the Steelers it will be assistant coaches who will take the fall for Tomlin's shortcomings.

I generally agree with all this but that Tomlin is secure because he is black. Generally since the Rooney family bought the team decades ago, they haven't really fired head coaches. They generally retire like Cowher and Noll. If they go 4-12 to 3-13 for 3 years straight losing the team in the process, I am pretty sure he will get fired and no caste people can say anything since of this history.

He ran "some of the most potent offenses" but it's his fault the Steelers fell short. Not the defense's fault, not Mike Tomlin's fault, it's the fault of the architect of the potent offense.

The Steelers will not bring back OC Todd Haley. The writing was on the wall for this one. Both coach Mike Tomlin and Ben Roethlisberger reportedly butted heads with Haley, and the Steelers will let Haley walk now that his contract is up. There's no question he ran some of the most potent offenses in his six years calling plays for Pittsburgh, but the Steelers were never able to clear the final hurdles, failing to even win an AFC title with Haley. It's possible OL coach Mike Munchak will earn a promotion to OC after he turned down a second interview with the Cardinals for their head-coach job on Wednesday.

It's funny because I think of the defense not offense for the Steelers failing to get over the hump. As much as we don't like Haley, one thing he did was improve the offense by a mile. I know Ben butted heads with him but he needed a swift kick in the ass after the Arians years. Honestly during those days, he was playing like a black quarterback with the defenses covering up real flaws that the Ravens noticed as only locking down on one receiver per play, holding the ball way too long and such. Haley got Ben into a precision offense and forced him to improve which he did. Ben has truly become an elite Quarterback with Haley.

The defense has always been overrated and only looks decent against scrub Quarterbacks. Real good quarterbacks can slice through the defense like paper mache. It is zone blitzing. Quick reads and receivers who know when to settle in holes will blow it up. It's how Tom Brady makes the defense his bitch every year. Ironically last month was Brady's worst game against the Steelers in 14 years. That is because the Steelers actually changed things up. Sure they still lost but they looked much better.

It's also how Bortles hung up 45 on them.

The problem is not the offense but the defense which is supposedly Tomlin's that is the problem.

Anderson was arrested in Florida last offseason as well at a music festival. This one sounds a bit more serious, however, though little details are known at this point. The Jets should of cut this turd right away. Just goes to show how stupid these organizations are. The NFL is coming off a very bad year mostly due to the perceived lack of respect affletes are giving law enforcement due to the bogus BLM kneeling charade. Here's a post I made on 11-10-13 in the White Quarterbacks thread: "We've seen the emergence of two white franchise quarterbacks in Case Keenum and Nick Foles. They're going to be starting in the NFL a long time."

You can argue whether they should be considered franchise quarterbacks or not but one thing's for sure, they're both starters for playoff teams.

My thinking is that these GMs or owners are (finally) considering ex-Patriots players and personnel because of the success that organization has had, instead of considering Vrabel's past Caste tendencies, which they are probably oblivious to. Tennessee is a very dark team overall, and has been for a while, so it will be interesting to see if, outside of AA QB Mariota, it becomes less so, because it can't get much darker.

I was on a Titans message board last week commenting on an article about Mularkey being fired even though his team made the playoffs and won a playoff game while Hue Jackson ket his job despite going 1-31 as a head coach. Many of the Titans DWFs were of the opinion that Mariotta should be a top QB in the league based on his talent and Mularkey committed a grave error by "not focusing his team around Mariotta", whatever that means. Truly delusional.

Listening to some ESPN radio show on my way home this morning and a Jacksonville Jaguar beat reporter says that in all likelihood Bortles will have to win a QB competition next summer. He says they will doubtless bring in a QB in free agency. To his credit the reporter said that if it were up to him, Bortles would be the starter, but that from what he's heard the position will be up for grabs. Maybe they can bring in somebody good, like Geno Smiff.

Bortles has developed into a solid quarterback. He's not elite but you can win a Super Bowl with him.

In the playoffs he played well. He won two playoff games and came close in the AFC Championship game. In the playoffs he threw 0 interceptions and had a 90.1 quarterback rating.

The Jaguars are ok with Bortles. Quarterback is not an area they need to address.

If he was black it's doubtful the mainstream media would be discussing him being replaced. Compare his stats with Cam Newton's. The mainstream media doesn't discuss Newton being replaced.
