I'll be surprised if there's any interest in Janis, other than to continue the same pathetic role he has in Green Bay. It shows how stubbornly racist the NFL is that the only team that might be interested in developing him is New England, and there's only so many White receivers to go around on that franchise. Maybe another team (Minnesota perhaps?) will surprise and go after him.

The Bears are desperate for wide receivers. They should go after Janis.

Of course what they should do and will do might not be the same thing.

Four prime seasons wasted for Jeff Janis. He will be a free agent at the end of this season. It will be very interesting to see where he lands. Or, will he be playing flag football with Riley Cooper and Brian Hartline?

It would be nice if someone gave Janis a shot. With his size and speed, if he were black, he'd be starting, no question. Abbrederis is another head scratcher. He should have been no worse than WR#3 in Detroit; I think they actually waived him a few weeks ago...

Feel like getting pissed off? I was looking at Brian Hartline's numbers the other day. He has 4766 yards in 7 seasons. That's roughly 700 yards per season!

In 2016, only 48 wide receivers had at least 700 yards receiving. (2 starting receivers X 32 teams = 64 starting WR spots).

So I guess no NFL team has any use for Hartline in any capacity whatsoever, even though his numbers are comparable to any starting receiver in the league...... Interesting.
Explain that one...

Mcadoo and Reese both fired! I was not against Mcadoo until his decision to bench Manning for Geno Smiff. Good riddance to the Ghana giants - I can only hope Davis Webb starts the last 4 games but my guess is that ownership is going to mandate that Eli starts again.

Reese's firing was overdue by several years. He was as bad (and blatantly anti-White) as Doug Whaley (finally fired by the Bills) and Reggie McKenzie (Raiders).

While black head coaches are a mixed bag, not much different than White ones when it comes to the Caste System, black GMs seem to uniformly be blatant black supremacists. Rick Smith of Houston drafted some excellent White defensive players for a few years but always kept the o-line 4/5 black, but that's over now and the Texans are an unwatchable coal black team except when J. J. Watt is healthy.

The Giants have been so flukey, rarely making the playoffs yet beating the Patriots twice in the Super Bowl, both on spectacular clutch plays by Eli Manning. Brady and the Belichick-era Patriots would have seven championships if not for the Giants, another reason I'm glad to see their decline to bottom feeding status.

Finally some good news on the Chris Hogan front:

Chris Hogan (shoulder) returned to practice Wednesday. The Patriots don't have to issue a practice report today since they don't play until Monday night, but this puts Hogan in good shape to return after missing the past five weeks since hurting his shoulder in Week 8. If Hogan is back, he'll immediately be a WR2 and knock Brandin Cooks a peg, though both could be heavily involved with Rob Gronkowski suspended for Week 14.

Funny you said this at the time. I was listening at noon in Northern VA on ESPN 980 with Grant. He had a woman reporter talk about what happened with the Giants the past weeks. While part of it was how Reese, McAdoo, and Mara spoke 2 weeks prior and were in agreement about benching Eli and the mess surrounding that, the part that shocked the DWF radio host was why Geno Smith was the one who started. Talks within the organization was that Reese knew he already was going to be fired and wanted to do one thing that never happened in Giants franchise history, start a black QB. That is why Geno start. I will need to find the audio for you guys just to show how in shock the radio host was hearing that with her trying to convince him that it was true. I was only amused because while DWFs can't believe that a player will start due to his skin you guys know that is the case. Just nice to see it out in the open.

An interesting article written about the first time that every NFL team started a black QB. Geno Smith is the first black QB to start a game in the 92-year history of the franchise and I'm positive that the Afrocentric GM, Jerry Reese, knew that and benched Manning...

https://theundefeated.com/features/first-black-starting-quarterback-for-each-nfl-team-geno-smith/

I'll be patiently waiting for an analogous article about which NFL teams have started a white cornerback or running back since 1980.

Browns fired Sashi Brown but are keeping Clueless Hue for 2018. Must be nice to have that type of job security.

OMG, I guess Hue must have thrown Sashi under the bus with their quarterback situation. The historic run of the Browns will continue for at least another season. If I was a junior prospect I might pull an Elway or Eli and threaten to not play for the Browns in 18'.

I'm actually surprised they fired Brown. It seemed he was a friend of the owner. I guess a 1-27 record and passing on franchise quarterback Carson Wentz was too much even for owner Jimmy Haslam.

I expected them to keep Brown and fire Jackson. They both should have been fired.

I remember you and I had a spirited arguement when they implemented the moneyball philosophy - turns out you were completely correct. They did not use a moneyball type approach with their analytics at all. The Browns are probably in the worst shape they have been in since they re-entered the league.

It is official the 9th pick in the NFL Drat WR John Ross is being shelved the rest of the year with a shoulder injury. I would put this news in the recent bust thread but perhaps he comes back next season and plays well. Then again perhaps not. Ross is the type of player that the media and scouts BEAT us over the head with because he gives caste talk a ton of energy. A deep threat at Washington he scored a bunch of TD's on long passes burning clueless black DB's along the way. The one game he fell way short on was against a physical Alabama squad.

With a history of injuries and a body of a baseball shortstop it would have been prudent for teams to have used some caution. Alas the Combine, a setting that has furthered the caste cause to the nth degree. Every year you have the white goat/mascot Rich Eisen, apparently a stand in for the "white everyman" trudging through the 40 yard dash in a suit putting up times a turtle might post. This is after we have witnessed nearly 98% black participants woo the viewing audience. Perfectly fits into the whites are lame blacks are great narrative. And this past Combine everyone got to watch John Ross run his "historic" 40 yard dash not once not twice but I would roughly calculate they showed it 200 times. Yes they exclaimed he beat the record as grown men masturbated in the corner with a gleam in their eyes. World order was "restored" once again as a black man performed a speed trick no white man would ever be capable of doing according to the caste rule of law. Oddly when they transposed the former "champion" Chris Johnson and his 4.24 time with Ross and his 4.22 time Johnson nipped the line faster than Ross so what exactly were we watching?

That said after all the hype and most all of the experts proclaiming the Bengals have found their "deep" threat, what a great pick and he was going to blow the lid off the NFL his stat line for the season came up a tad short of those big predictions. And behind the curtain the stat line is--drum roll please----------ZERO CATCHES!!! The scouts are probably still masturbating somewhere however. John Ross hero of the caste world order. But can he actually play football?

If Browns are giving a junior white quarterback a guaranteed 20 million dollars, he should sign the contract. 20 million dollars is set for life money. Nobody should turn down that kind of guaranteed money, even if the team is horrible. If a college quarterback stays for his senior season, he could be passed up by up and coming younger quarterbacks, he could have a down year, or he could get injured.

Go and look up the case of Matt Barkley. After his junior season at USC, Matt was seen as one of the top qbs in the NFL draft. If Matt had gone to the NFL, he would gotten a 20 million dollar contract. Instead Barkley stayed at USC. Barkley had a decent senior season and was drafted in the 4th round. Barkley has bounced around from team to team, making 500,00 to a million per season. The 20 million dollars is lost forever- he will never make that back.

Take the f-cking money.

The funny part is that the meathead football analysts were all saying this proves moneyball doesn't work in the NFL saying baseball is different not understanding that Sashi Brown was horrible and was not using that approach. Not drafting a QB in the first picks would have made sense pre-rookie cap because of the insane contracts at the time. It doesn't make sense now with the rookie caps to skip a QB that high as a perfect example. Money ball would say do it.

I don't know what they were doing. It made no sense from an analytics standpoint.

De facto GM Sashi Brown passed on two franchise quarterbacks, Carson Wentz and Mitch Trubisky. He'll go down as one of the worst GMs ever.

I mean't refuse to play for the Browns, not go back to school. I agree the Barkley situation is what not to do when you are literally holding a lottery ticket. The argument for going back to school only made sense when players made CFL money but when you can make lottery ticket money, there is not job that can pay that.....

If Darnold does declare this could be the group of QBs that takes over for the vaunted 2004 class of Big Ben, Rivers, Manning, Schaub are the big names. JP Losman was also a 1st rounder but ultimately sputtered out of the league. I actually see alot of similarities between 2004 and 2018:

Darnold - Big Ben
Rosen - Eli Manning
Allen - Losman - Boom or Bust
Rudolph - Rivers
Mayfield doesn't really compare to anyone from 2004. I think the Brees comparison is best for him.

Even if Darnold does not declare it has the potential to be a very strong draft class and can help stabilize the QB position in the NFL as many of the vet QBs start retiring. I'd be willing to bet that Rosen is the starting QB for the Browns next season.

When does Mcsorely grad? Does fit in the nfl as he is a duel threat but a bit on the short height ruler. Love to watch him play, reminds me of Doug Flutie whom I got to meet as well as watch play

The media has started comparing mayfield to the dungbeetle. I am not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

Mayfield is a lot better as a passer. The dung beetle has one move - he rolls out to his left. Mayfield is a better pocket passer IMO.
