The Colts hired Chris Ballard from the Chiefs to be GM. Not sure this is a good, bad or a push in comparison to Grigson.

Not very familiar with Ballard so I did a quick Google search on him and found this piece from the Indianapolis Star. Ballard played WR at Wisconsin-Madison so its possible he has a sliver of compassion for white skill players?! We'll see. He helped turn around KCs team in 2012 after a 2-14 season. He also had a hand in drafting a couple of solid players during his time with the Bears(none of them white though.)

I didn't dislike Lynch as an announcer as much as some. For sure he's spouts some Caste-speak, but seemed pretty fair a lot of the time. He can't be any worse than Trent Baalke was in SF, at least I hope not.

I really hope Lynch and Shanny don't fall in love with one of the black quarterbacks in the draft. Shameful to jettison the Toucan to only replace him with another black quarterback. Perhaps Shanny will feel he can revive Gabbert or Ponder or go after McCarron or Glennon. The wild card is Manziel if he is committed to a return.

I was open minded about the Pro Bowl, but even the NHL let us embarrass the goalies night was a bit better so I watched more of it than the PB.

It's been many years since I watched the Pro Bowl. Back in the day it was actually a fairly serious game where top pros tried their mettle against other top pros. Of course it's always had it's celebratory nature which is why it was always in Hawaii as a reward. Now it's just a game filled with TNB and is a colossal bore.

The vermin from the likes of weenieworld are trying to elude to the end of the line for "Game Manager"Alex Smith with KC. I wish Fat Reid would open up the offense for Alex Smith to show he can run a vertical offense. This run heavy offense has distorted the image of a good qb like Alex Smith.
Many of these so called experts seem to forget the playoff game where Smith had a shootout with Andrew Luck in 2013 playoffs.

The Lynch hiring is interesting. He has he obvious connection to Stanford and it could allow him to draft some of those players (of course we all thought Haurbaugh would utilize his Stanford players and he didn't). I think the biggest question is going to be what they do at QB. The younger Shanahan does not seem to be to keen on black quarterbacks either (pretty sure both he and his dad favored Cousins over the Gremlin) so perhaps they go with Trubisky or one of the FA QBs.

Ex-Bills coach Rex Ryan signed a deal with ESPN to appear on NFL Sunday Countdown ahead of the Super Bowl next Sunday. According to the Sports Business Journal, all four of ESPN, CBS, FOX, and NFL Network reached out to Ryan to gauge his interest in joining their teams. Ryan definitely has a job in the media waiting for him should he not land a coaching gig. The deal with ESPN only covers the Super Bowl, but could lead to more.

I won't say he was a complete bust but as a number 1 draft pick but he completed less than 60% of his passes and got thrown in the federal pen for dog fighting charges as well as never living up to the hype the media, DWFs all gave him for years. Vick couldn't throw but weenieworld and the sports media will overlook that!

I watched until about midway through the 2nd quarter, where Brees called a play, and neither Beckham nor Dez knew what to do, so Brees had to stop and explain to the affleets their responsibility. Beckham still managed to screw it up, leading to a Brees interception, and that's where I called it quits....

He barely scraped over 3k passing twice in his career and never got close to winning a SB in a league where the best qbs are trending towards 5k passing seasons and averaging 4k, far from being a template for the future, he was a throwback to run first teams/college game

Michael Vick was grossly overrated his entire career. Overall he was a below average quarterback.

Automatically being given more credit than you deserve or earn is part of black privilege.

By the way, one of the words the FNM likes to use to describe black quarterbacks nowadays is "transcendent." I read one article which compared Kirk Cousins to Cam Newton. It made Cousins sound like a bad quarterback while it described Newton as "transcendent."

In just a few weeks time, Antonio Brown has gone from arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL to a frustrating player who annoys his teammates and coaches and often loses focus on the field — at least in the media.

One Steelers beat writer, Ron Cook of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, believes the team should consider trading Brown this offseason. With Brown expecting a massive contract extension as he enters the final year of his deal, Cook argues that the five-time Pro Bowler’s skills could decline as he approaches age 30. In addition, Cook says several of Brown’s teammates have grown tired of his “silly, look-at-me antics.”

But that isn’t the most alarming part. Brown was supposedly unhappy with how he was being used in Pittsburgh’s offense in more than one game this season. That apparently led to the All-Pro making mistakes on the field, and Cook wonders if those “mistakes” were made out of spite.

The distractions are a real problem. Brown’s three excessive celebrations penalties early in the season were bad enough. But there was the incident in the first Miami game when he jogged back to the line of scrimmage, delaying his teammates from running their 2-minute offense. In more than one game, when he wasn’t happy with how he was being used, he frequently ran the wrong patterns, either because of a lack of focus or — worse — intentionally. It happened a week ago in the AFC championship. That’s inexcusable.

There’s no question Brown made a huge mistake when he decided to broadcast live on social media from his team’s locker room after a playoff win (video here). It would be easy to conclude that reporters have simply taken that slip-up and run with it, but Ben Roethlisberger’s recent comments about Brown are noteworthy. If the Steelers are going to make Brown one of the highest-paid receivers in the league, they may need to have a long talk with him first.

Those days are long gone in the NFL, as Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, Chad "Ocho Cinco", Antonio Bryant, Brandon Marshall and a slew of others have shown. A White offensive linemen on the Steelers who spoke up aggressively in Antonio Brown's face would likely find Mike Tomlin and Joey Porter leading the charge against him.

When Brown's Facebook brouhaha happened, the Pittsburgh media interviewed Greg Warren, a back-up center and long snapper, who cooed about how much all the players like Brown. It was the first time Warren had ever been interviewed that I'm aware of. And when Craig Wolfley, a Pittsburgh o-lineman from the '80s, was on Mark Madden's show last week, he too praised Brown as a "good kid" and all the rest. Wolfley is totally cucked now; in the same interview he referred to Chris Hogan as a "practice squad player."

All the White NFL players go along with the program now, unless they want to lose their paycheck and their reputation. Richie Incognito apparently policed the Miami o-linemen, but the black one he harassed was a snowflake of the kind commonly seen on college campuses these days, and Incognito is one of the last of a dying breed in that regard.

I just read that Shanahan might bring in Matt Schaub as a bridge qb to San Fran. The toucan is out which is great news but hopefully the younger Shanahan sticks with his history of white qbs. He has also spoken highly of Jimmy Garrapolo this week as well. I think Shanahan could work well with Trubisky's skill set as well.
