I think someone posted something a while back about Hass playing in NFL Europe this year. I see Aaron Hosack is languishing there once again. Absolutely ridiculous. Hosack should be starting for an NFL team. Scott McCready's another apparent "lifer."

Based on his name and the position he plays, I'll bet that Leonard Greene is part black.

Yeah Don, I was the one who posted about Hass going to NFL Europe a couple weeks back. Fortunately, Mr. Slow Poke, the unimpressive 4.65 Justin Gage has left the Bears. Just maybe, Lovie will think about letting the 2005 best WR in college, 4.56 Proday Hass, (also best cone time in the entire Proday) fill Gage's role as the bears 6th WR. WHEEEW!

I think that's about the best scenario with Lovie as his coach "Hass looks like the team manager."

Aaron Hosack is fun to watch, he's damned good. The Galaxy just don't throw the ball very much.

Some of you may be interested to know who holds the NFL Europe receptions records for most yards gained in a season and highest average per reception ...

Sean LaChappelle

Most Yards Gained, Season

1. Sean LaChapelle, WR, Scotland 1996 1,023
2. Eddie Brown, WR, Sacramento 1992 1,011
3. Jon Horton, WR, London 1991 931
4. Donald Sellers, WR, Scotland 1999 931

Highest Average Gain

Sean LaChapelle, WR, Scotland, 1996, 21.8 yrds.

unlike in seasons past, there isn't one team with a nearly all-white set of skill position players on offense, and it seems like there are fewer white wide receivers than in years past, too...
smiley5.gif

that being said, our guys are still dominating the league. after4 weeks of play, Aaron Hosack is tied for the league lead in scoring with 3 TDs on only four catches.
smiley3.gif
he's had TD receptions of 41, 61, and 65 yards. not bad for a guy who is "too slow."
smiley32.gif

Scott McCready and Rich Musinski are tied with a lot of other players with 2 TDs so far. McCready is also 2nd in the league in receptions and 4th in receiving yards, while Musinski is 2nd in the league in receiving yards and 4th in receptions.

Hosack is 7th in the league in receiving yards with just those 4 catches and despite missing a game the second week of the season.

the hands-down best quarterback in the league thus far is J.T. O'Sullivan for Frankfurt (Aaron Hosack's team). he has a QB rating of 104.7, and J.T. has already thrown 5 TDs with just one interception.

the most exciting player in the league is the scrambling quarterback for the Berlin Thunder, Travis Lulay. he is an inconsistent passer, but he has amazing wheels. at one point he was second in the league in rushing, but has now dropped to 7th. he still hasTHE longest run from scrimmage this year however, with a 61-yard scamper for a touchdown.

Defensive tackle Gary Green is tied for the league-lead in sacks, while defensive end John Syptak is right behind him with 2.5 sacks (tied for 2nd place). defensive ends Christian Mohr and Justin Kurpeikis are tied for 3rd with 2 sacks each.

safety Shawn Mayer is tied for the league-lead in interceptions with 2, while several white DBs have 1 pick, including cornerback/safety hybrid Andrew Pace (a personal favorite of mine who i've seen play in person).

so far, the season is looking good for our guys.

oh, and Don suspected that cornerback Leonard Greene was part black... i guess not, because he has been moved to safety for Frankfurt. he's now backing up another white safety, Chris Laskowski.

Yes, there is something not quite right about Leonard Greene the "German"

If this guy was black, half the teams in the league would sign him. And give him 6 years to "develope".
