NFL Draft 2012

I applaud dwid! From his astute (player) evaluations, I can tell that he watches the games or significant amounts of game-footage and makes his posts. He's been on a roll lately! Again, a great asset to CF.

:yo:

Another quick one is the Colts and their worst ever, Jeff George. Sure, Jeff was/is a bit of a head case, but he was very talented and won quite a few games. He's better than virtually every black QB that's ever been drafted. He's a bigger bust than Marlin Jackson, taken at #29 in 2005?

DE Jerry Hughes, taken in the first round just two years ago, has been a huge bust. Of course with his limitless upside maybe he'll "blossom" one of these years.

My bet is that almost all of the teams have a colossal black bust taken only in the past decade just at OL, DT, DE, CB, and WR, with many having multiple candidates.

Funny watching the NFL parade out their top 26 prospects in the draft.....looked like a slave auction......Luke Kuechly was not one of the top 26 even though Mel Kiper has him listed as the best ILB in the draft and I've seen him going as high as ten. Also, Notre Dame's Harrison Smith not in the top 26 even though he is generally considered the 2nd best safety prospect. As expected, Andrew Luck goes No. 1.....fun to watch his highlight film as Berman and crew talked about what a great college career he had throwing the ball.....and almost all of the receivers you see on the highlight reel are white....

Yeah, and while streaming CBSSports, one of the DWF hosts when talking about Luck said, "...he's not a freakish athlete like Cam Newton, but he'll make some plays for you." :mmph:

Kuechly was invited but decided to watch it with his family.

I'm very happy for Luck and Kalil. Now let's get some more of our guys drafted. I wonder who will go after Cody Pearce. He is as explosive as they come. I can thing of a multitude of teams that could use a guy that is always a threat to score. I have to be up really early so I will have to check on most of tonights draft later on tommorow. Keeping my fingers crossed that a few more of our guys get drafted than usual. It is so unfair year after year and it needs to end. The league has to quit stereotyping because it is all based of lies as this site proves.

Goodell's prolonged hug with each draftee is over the top. How about just a handshake, geez.

Glad Miami took Tannehill. He'll be a good one, and should also be good for Brian Hartline and Anthony Fasano. I was afraid the Dolphins would take Floyd the WR from Notre Dame.

I really like the Vikings taking Kahil. It was obvious the Sumo Tackles for Minnesota, especially on left side, wanted no part in blocking for Gerhart. Good news for Ponder too.

Can someone explain to me why the Browns swapped picks with the Vikings? Richardson would have been available at #4. Now the Browns give up 3 later round picks for this move.

My thoughts exactly. Pure stupidity by an apparently senile Caste Walrus is all I can figure.

On ESPN they said they wanted to ensure they got Richardson and since they had 13 picks, some of the later ones wouldn't make the team anyway.

I'm not sure I love Kuechly on the Panthers, but he'll start from day 1 and produce the whole season.

Cleveland's objective is to try and win with a Caste football team. That's why Holmgren was really brought in.

They would've and could've paid a fraction of the price of what they're going to pay for Richardson by coming to terms with Hillis and used their pick to take Kahil instead, addressing a real need.

Good to see Tackling machine Luke Kuechly at #9 to the Panthers....draws comparisons to Pro Bowler Patrick Willis.

Even those experts say ex-WR Ryan Tannehill has that "upside"...

They could've traded some of those picks later on for a player who they weren't sure would be there. No way Minnesota was going to take Richardson, it's an indefensible trade which is fine with me if it helps to speed up Holmgren's departure from Cleveland.

The pick of Richardson is also confirmation that Montario Hardesty is already considered a bust.

I was hoping Kuechly would go to a team without scam as the QB

That thing that Seattle drafted doesn't even look like a human being.
Yeah, God-forbid that Carroll would actually pick a higher-ranked LB in Shea McClellin. But what else would you expect from such a Caste-whore extraordinaire coach?

I watched Bruce Irvin the past few years and I can't see why the Seahawks would take him at #15. He wasn't that good at WVU. The game is not played in shorts.

mind boggling. they weren't going to add a RB to Peterson and Gerhart...

Does anyone know when the last time a white linebacker went so high as? I'm guessing it had to be the 80's. Anyway, Kluechy should be a Pro Bowler for years to come. He's about as safe a a pick as there is .

AJ Hawk was top 5 if I'm not mistaken. But yeah, totally agree on Kuechly.

I'm kind of surprised Rieff and DeCastro haven't gone yet, but there seems to be a run on overrated corners/pass rushers.

Wow, Da Bears take McClellin! Urlacher, Conte and McClellin should all be starting on D this season.

What next, the Steelers drafting a White guard or tackle in the first round?

Man...Bucky Brooks is a b*tch and that white guy is giving McClellin a bunch of back handed "team player" compliments.
Bucky Brooks says the one thing that concerns him is his "lack of athleticism" but it can be covered by "the elite players around him...Julius Peppers, Urlacher."
