Saints vs. Panthers - Colin Jones just had a nice sack of Drew Brees. I have noticed Sunseri out on the field for the Saints defense as well.

Just compare Drew Brees and Cam Newton. They're not in the same class.

Scam is regressing which is great to see. The int he threw was to bersin, it was thrown a little behind him and if a white qb made that throw they would of criticized the qb but instead it was bersin who got all the criticism.

honestly not one of the black qbs playing right now in the nfl is anything better than average at best. Perhaps over the next few years all of the experts and media types will admit the differences between the college and nfl game. The black qbs having success in college won't translate and hopefully
the smarter minds in nfl front offices will begin to
publicly note this during the draft evaluation process.

I root for the Panthers because Kuehly is off the charts great and Olsen is a fast TE. And now S Colin Jones is emerging. Anyone catch Jones who ran down Pac man Jones a few weeks back during a return. Great wheels.
But I never disliked Newton the way I can't stand Wilson and Kapernick but with that D any average QB should get some wins. Newton flat out stinks. Cannot win big with this guy. And if they get behind a couple of TD's lights out. Last night he was so bad!!!

I agree that the Panthers aren’t so bad a team to support. They have the talented TE, Greg Olsen, Brentin Bersin as a reserve WR and returner, Kuechly as a star MLB, AJ Klein at SLB, and now safety Colin Jones playing well for the injured Thomas DeCoud. It was great to see the former TCU star sack Zulu-Drew in the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] quarter…

Of course, despite putting up great stats at TCU and running the 40 yard dash in a blistering 4.34 seconds, he was only drafted in the 6[SUP]th[/SUP] round by Jim Harbaugh’s plantation, where he was a special teams ace for a season before being signed by the Panthers 2 years ago. Judging by his behavior in this video (where he throws down Jason Worilds and stomps on him), this guy doesn't seem to take any flack from Negroes on the field on play.

If Newton would be replaced by Derek Anderson, the Panthers would probably be the 3rd most white-friendly team in the NFC after the Eagles and Packers.

Once Rivera realizes sCam truly sucks, his team will be better off. I can see them bringing in a former starting qb next season as insurance.

A few candidates:

Sam Bradford - Injuries have killed his career, but he needs to play behind a great O-line, bulk up and wear Marino like knee braces for his knee after he tore his acl.

Mark Sanchez - He still gets a lot of crap for famous butt fumble, but he was a solid starter for Fat Rex.

Matt Barkley- He could ask for a trade because as long as Foles is playing well he'll never get a shot in Philly.

I think Rivera will be run out of town before scam. I don't disagree though that it would be wise to bring in a talented QB to step in when Newton continues to stink up the joint.

When was Sanchez ever a decent starter? Did you see his stats? His highest qb rating is a 78 and he never threw higher than 56 percent completion percentage in 4 full seasons as starters. The guy is a bust and shouldn't even be in the league.

The other issue I have is with Gremlin probably getting his starting job back as soon as the magic negro is healthy. I mean, the head coach doesn't want to lose his job like Shanahan so of course he will have the horrendous looking thing behind center. Gremlin would throw another temper tantrum if it went down any other way.

I never mentioned Sanchez was a talented QB. I just said it would be wise to bring in a QB as an insurance policy. Sanchez is a bum as far as im concerned - he was better than Smiff but was never better than average at any point during his career.

His numbers were a lot better in the postseason. In 4 years he won 4 playoff games. Not many decent starters in this league had good ratings or high completions numbers until a little later in their career like Vinny Testaverde. Hell, Eli Manning who I think is a great qb had a crappy rating and completion rate early in his career. Clearly he is not a top qb who can succeed without a good running game, which is why I thought he was a good fit. Carolina usually has a strong running game. Carolina could do worse.

It looks like Romo is out today with Weeden filling in. Hopefully Weeden has a good game.

I agree he is better than Newton for sure. I think other viable options do exist though that could be better.

Robinson just got hurt on a during a rushing attempt. Gerhart is in and he had a nice rush on his first carry. Hoping for a big day for him. Not sure how bad Robinson is hurt. It might be minor.

Sounds like it is minor - all the weenies on BSPN are tweeting out they hope Denard is ok and that Strom Johnson is inactive - essentially treating Toby as an afterthought.

Rex Burkhead blocks a kick. Now if only they would let him run the ball. Stupid Bengals. What a waste of talent.

Hartline looking good! I hope this shuts up the Miami DWF's who were calling for his benching last week.
