Week 8 is already upon us with the Broncos hosting the Chargers. I guess that I'd rather have the Chargers win, but really all that I care about is that the extremely rare, endangered paleface species have good games. That would pretty much be the QB's and not much else.

So the Chargers are down to just two O-linemen (C and LG) and Phillip Rivers on offense, and Lissemore and Weddle on defense, right? The two ultra-rare specimens on the Chargers D play in caste-disapproved positions, so that's a good thing, but without Woodhead on offense, there is nothing to see on that side of the ball.

The Blackos are simply awful. Manning and the occasionally-targeted Wes Welker on offense, and "listed" starter Derek Wolfe on defense.

I may tune in in the event that I decide to inundate my household with the "blue glow".

Jarrett Johnson starts at OLB. 3 White starters on defense is alot these days.

I'll certainly root for the Chargers because of the defense and the resurgent Phillip Rivers. You know, the guy the Corporate Sports Media thinks is weird because he has alot of children with his wife. For the Broncos, I'll hope Welker can have a 100 yard game (seems like forever since his last one) and injuries to many of the Broncs "star" afroletes...

Oh yeah, I forgot all about Johnson. I was just skimming the depth charts when I wrote the thread intro and his name just sounded black to me for some reason :icon_surprised:.

You're right though, the Chargers are a bit more palatable than Horseface Elway's Donkeys. It would be neat to see how "good" they were if they had, say, Teddy Bridgewater at the helm rather than the great Peyton Manning. We all know the answer.

Mettenberger looked good in the preseason.

He was taken in the 6th round in the 2014 draft. He should have been taken higher. Off the field issues and injury issues were part of the reason why he went so low but another reason is that he's a traditional, white, pocket passer.

These types have been devalued by NFL teams. Tom Savage, who was drafted in the 4th round, is another example of a white pocket passer who should have gone higher.

In 2013 white pocket passers Matt Barkley and Ryan Nassib went in the 4th round, lower than they should have. They both look to have good NFL careers.

An NFL team could improve itself by targeting these underrated types of players.

Looks like Mettenberger is going to start the balance of the season. Locker's days in Tennessee are numbered.

Locker is a great talent, with an elite arm and athleticism, but inconsistent play and injuries appear to have doomed his career, at least in TEN. He's only 26 and can still have a long and successful career in the NFL if he can get another shot with a new team. He's one of those rare white QBs who's been given a fair opportunity despite not having a lot of success, but it just didn't work out.

Mettenberger appears to have a bit of an edge to him. I like that he has come out and declared that this is his team now, instead of the aww schucks garbage we heard from Kirk Cousins about how the Redskins are still Gremlin's team.

Yea it stinks about Locker but I think another team will sign him in Free Agency. Mettenberger should of been a 2nd/3rd round draft pick and viewed as a potential franchise QB but was downgraded due to his whiteness during the draft process. I hope he plays well and cements himself as the starting QB for the Titans.

4 White defensive starters for the Chargers: Weddle, Lissemore, Jarrett Johnson, and Andrew Gachkar?!? white linebacker from Missouri. Good luck to him, apparently a WSTD turned starting linebacker.

Got to "love" Phil Simms with all his backhand caste compliments of Jarret Johnson.

It's amazing how both of these teams have some no name/washed up running backs on the roster. Brian Leonard or Hester could easily outplay Oliver or Ronnie Brown for the Chargers.

Even though that PI call was for a foul against Welker it was still a bad call. I don't thing it was PI, and it took away Weddle's excellent interception. Plus it pretty much put the game out of reach for San Diego.

Didn't watch tonight's game. Didn't miss much. This season so far has had a few bright spots, but a lot of disappointment. Toby Gerhart's injury and placement on a bad team, the lack of visibility of white WRs (except Jordy Nelson) compared to last year, Cassel getting hurt and being replaced by Bridgewater, and, on the non-racial front, a huge number of dull blowout games. The biggest kick in the ovaries, however, was Danny Woodhead's season-ending injury on his very first carry in the very first game where he was to be THE featured back. The Chargers really could have used Woodhead tonight.

If your TV has 5.1 sound you can mute the center speaker and listen only to the game.

Besides his 11 tackles and called back interception, Weddle had a nice forced fumble against Sanders, but Welker recovered it.

Did anyone catch what Demarcus Ware said during the game? He was miked-up and said about Rivers something to the effect of, "When you rush outside he move inside, when you come inside he move outside. He good."

Rivers and Peyton Manning are among the slowest quarterbacks when it comes to foot speed but are also among the least sacked, while fleet-footed black QBs are generally sacked a lot. The difference comes from pocket awareness, which all the good White QBs have and very few blacks ones do. That and lack of accuracy (Whites have better hand-eye coordination) are the two main reasons The Great Black Quarterback Experiment still lumbers along after two decades as mostly an epic fail.

Btw, the "great" Ware had a goose-egg last night -- not a single sack, tackle or assisted tackle.

I have to apologize as a Brit that the best we apparently can do for the NFL international series is one of the worst girl bands in the UK in Little Mix. How embarrassing!

Matt Ryan playing very well early on with Falcons up 14-0 first quarter, great athleticism by Bear Pascoe to stay in bounds on the play action fake touchdown. Hope they hold on against the Lions, what a loathsome team.

Biermman getting some good early pressure on Stafford.

Why are the Lions more loathsome then the Falcons? It looks like both teams have only 1 white regular on offense, the QB, and I think the Falcons have a white LB. But that's the only difference I can tell.
