Tonight's game between Indy and Houston should be a good showcase of white talent. Especially the Houston defense with Watt, Crick, Reed, Mohamed, and Cushing. That's a whole lotta crackas on one defense, considering the league average is 1-2.

On the Indy side, there is Luck and Fleener, with Bjoern Werner and Andy Studebaker stacked up at ROLB.

As always, I just root for the white guys to do well, I'm not really sweating who actually wins. It would be nice to have a rare close Thursday nite game, though.

Well said Football Dad hoping for a close game will try to stay up and watch it as it will have half one in the morning when it starts in the UK. Luck versus Watt is the way the press are billing it, good for our cause seeing our guys all over the media.

It will be good to see if the Houston defense can stop Andrew Luck going to be a good match. Just hope Fitz can fizzle tonight and give the Houston defense some respite against Luck Fleener Hilton and co.

I’m hoping for a big game from Texans TE, Garrett Graham, who looked like a star in the mold of Dennis Pitta but has been injured and phased-out with Fitzpatrick at the helm.

JJ Watt, the “Nordic Beast,” will be working against sumo RT and former 1st round bust, Gosder Cherilus.

Another big game for Björn Werner would be nice.

Another blowout already. UGH.

John Simon is on the Texans now, that's pretty awesome.

Luck is amazing.

Absolutely awful attempt to strip the ball by Sweringer, didn't even try to tackle, and Bradshaw ends up gaining 13 yards. What a terrible defender.

Trent Richardson with the 2nd worst YPC in the history of the NFL with 500+ carries: 3.3. Number 1 pick by the Browns. Colts give number 1 pick in trade. Richardson not disappointing tonight: 13 carries for 36 yards, 2.8 ypc. It must be the dreads, because he's dreadful.

Or maybe not...

Richardson has lowered his ypc for the game to 2.5.

He's going for the all time record!

Watt is completely ridiculous. 2 sacks, 3 passes batted, 7 tackles: 3 for loss, fumble recovery for 45 yards and a TD. I have to wonder what kind of lunch pail powered grit motor he's working with.

Finally, a game that (gasp) actually came down to the last two minutes. The Texans couldn't pull off the comeback, but they turned a potential blowout into an exciting match. Our guys put on some good shows, too. J.J. Watt was amazing as usual. Andrew Luck was the decisive leader that carried his team to victory. Coby Fleener had a TD catch, and Griff Whalen quietly got some good punt/kickoff returns.

So much better than seeing 56-0 on the scoreboard that only ended 56-14 because Atlanta allowed Tampa to score a couple of pity touchdowns.

Fitzpatrick is a joke. No matter how good Watt plays, this team has no chance.
Right, they need to 86 Fitzpatrick as long its not with a black quarterback back.

The Texans should've drafted Manziel, it was the perfect set-up. Instead they went for a clown (pun intended) who looks more and more like a wasted pick. Fitzpatrick is basically a solid back-up and not even close to franchise QB. This HOU team has good pieces in place to win now, but they need a real QB. Unfortunately, he's rotting on the Browns bench at the moment.

Texans as you say foobar75 have the pieces. The owner GM, coach and owner have to strike now. Or at least go down slinging with a dynamic White QB. If I was the owner, lets trade for Johnny Footbll Now!

And he STILL gets plenty of carries - 17 last night. Meanwhile, Toby Gerhart's career average has lowered to 4.4 yards per carry this year and it looks like he has lost his number one position to complete bum called Storm Johnson.

Ahmad Bradshaw is averaging almost 5 yards a carry on the explosive Indy offense. How does Trent Richardson getting carries?

They should of traded for mallet right after the draft. Fitzpatrick is a decent qb but he is a placeholder. I hope at some point either savage or mallet get the chance to start. They could of had bortles or manziel but went with the overrated and oft injured clowney instead when defense was their strength. I'm still pretty pumped up over the fact they have john simon and he recorded a sack last night after never getting a chance in blackimore

J.J. Watt is a bad man. I thought Fitzpatrick made some outstanding back shoulders throws to Johnson. It was a good throw to Johnson in the second to last series where Johnson catches and then inexplicably drops the ball turning the it over. Indy put a lot of pressure on him, especially in the 1st half. I agree, Houston should have gone with Manziel because Fitzpatrick is not the long term solution. It is my belief that NFL headquarters engineers some of these decisions on draft day.

Fitzpatrick is what he is, a tough journeyman who has some ability and will take lots of hits to try to make plays, but the Texans' biggest weakness is their defensive backfield. How about the clown (Kareem Jackson) who instead of touching down T. Y. Hilton near the goal line after Hilton beat him for a long catch, did everything possible to try to avoid contact with him? A White DB who did that would be roasted nationally, but not Jackson. And Swearinger (a second round draft pick last year) was awful, missing numerous tackle opportunities with horrible form or by trying to strip the ball instead of making the tackle. Those two alone cost Houston the game, but they will escape the scrutiny and criticism they deserve.

Doug Martin of Tampa Bay has been as bad as Richardson the past two seasons, being injury prone and having a terrible ypc, yet just the other day Hatie Smith endorsed him and called him the team's bellcow. The double standard that Gerhart faces, the same one all Whites at "taboo" positions have faced for over 30 years now, couldn't be more obvious and glaring.

I didn't see the game but scanning the box score there were some positives.

Werner recorded another sack after a slow start to the year. He's rolling now.

John Simon, after escaping hell and just being added to the team with little preperation, had 3 tackles (1 for a loss), 1 sack and 1 QB hit. Pretty good debut.

Watt dominated. Here's roto's take:

J.J. Watt wreaked havoc in the Texans' Week 6 loss to the Colts, ringing up two sacks, three swatted passes and a fumble return for a touchdown.

The Colts — like every other team in the NFL — simply had no answer for Watt as he nearly single-handedly brought the Texans back from a 24-0 first-half deficit. Watt now has fumble, interception and receiving scores on the season, and we're only in Week 6. There's a chance Watt could become the first defensive player since Lawrence Taylor in 1986 to win the NFL MVP award.

High praise indeed.

1 negative thing I noticed was LB Justin Tuggle appeared to start with Mike Mohamed recording no stats. Did Tuggle get promoted or was Mohamed injured?

Manziel was the obvious pick that for the Texans. They were set up for success. Their boneheaded black GM is a village idiot. Clowney will probably turn out to be a LaRue Martin type all-time bust. If the Texans had Manziel now the sky would have been the limit for that team.

Fitzpatrick is extremely limited.

Werner looked pretty good, his sack sealed the game for the Colts. Amazing how all Simon needed was an opportunity, and look at the result... surprise, surprise.... How many others get swept under the rug?

Tuggle did start, but Tarpinian got alot of snaps last night. Mohamed may have been injured. Brooks Reed appeared to have suffered an injury as well..

And my take on Fitzpatrick is this. He is a below average starter, a 'placeholder' as someone called him. He needs alot of help to be successful, and the Texan offense is just not that good. The tackles are below average, and aside form the aging Andre Johnson, there are no receiving threats... I wish he'd target Graham and Fedorowicz a bit more.
