NFL 2014 week 4

Please don't jinx this. This has been the worst year for us in a very long time, and with the way the college football scene is going it is only going to get worse.

It's not much worse than any other year. College football's top passers are all white once again. The media just refuses to acknowledge it. Look at what Goff did yesterday - no one wants to talk about that though.

Yeah but look at who media's mancrushes are all on, Winston, Hundley, etc... In the eyes of the DWF's these are the best quarterbacks in college football today.

My bad. Gerhart just lost a fumble on his first run.

I totally agree but it's not much different - Geno Smiff, Sewerwater, the gremlin have all been media darlings and none have delivered.

Glennon proving once again how underrated he is - leading the Bucs to a late potential game winning TD.

EJ Manuel with pick #2 to seal the deal!

EJ with the predictable fail to lose the game for Buffalo. Other than the 80 yard gift, EJ had 145 yards passing on 44 attempts...

Crawfords lose, Manuel loses, Smiff loses.

This has been a good day.

Gerhart with a short TD. He has looked good on his runs thus far, other than that fumble earlier. JAX first rushing TD since last November.

Toucan Krappernick has two plays: sling a fastball at a receiver, or tuck it and scramble. It works when you're new to the league and have a great defense. But, it's not a sustainable quarterback model.

Full 49'er meltdown in progress, all without anything from the Eagles offense. I hope they can put some points on the board and put this game out of reach.

I'm thinking the same thing when I watch him. He's like a pitcher with a fastball who has trouble hitting the corners. Twice already receivers were in position to take it in if the ball was in the right spot, but Kappernick wasn't accurate enough. Those plays add up in the course of a season.

That holding call called on the Eagles defense was so slight, it seems like they could call that on every single down on every defense, it gave the 49ers another set of downs after the Toucan was sacked on 3rd down, and they got the ball in extremely short field position. They also called Riley Cooper for a blocking penalty and Aikman pointed out that basically every team blocks like that and it's pretty much never called.
