NFL 2014 Week 14

I think Hoyer was poor tonight watching the game he missed open receivers on a few occasions and was throwing behind them other times. I have nothing against him but Manziel should be starting, the cleveland offense was poor tonight they were carried by an impressive defense tonight.
Rog, I stand corrected.

Russell Wilson runs a read option 26 yard TD run. Trent Cole bit on the fake and lost contain, but camera shot on Casey Matthews after TD.

Glad to see Geno Smiff lose once again and throw a pick 6 in the process. He is always good for at least one turnover a game. The Saints defense is pathetic to give up those kind of numbers to the panthers.

Mike Ditka in his rookie year, 1961. It was his best receiving year. Jackie Smith had over 1200 for the Cardinals in 1967.

Todd Christiansen did it three times -- 92 catches for 1247 yards in 1983; 80 for 1007 in '84; and 95 for 1153 yards in '86.

We've long credited Mark Bavaro with being the last White TE to have over 1000 yards before Witten did it, when he had 1001 yards in '86 (on just 66 catches), but Christensen also did it that year and had more yards than Bavaro.

Wes leads the Broncos with 4 catches for 70 yards so far here's hoping for hundred yard game at least for the slot machine!

If Hoyer's backup were black then Hoyer's would have been benched a month ago. He may not have even been named the starter at the beginning of the season

I think Johnny will be playing next week they are two games behind in the division now think they will want to give him a shot.

Human tackling-machine, Chris Borland, has 9 tackles with 1.5 quarters to go.

Zach Ertz with a huge 35 yard TD catch against Pete's Plantation.

Incredible! He is still a 1k per season receiver but he's criminally underused. How does one of the top receivers in the league get his targets cut in half?

Especially when you let Decker go you would of thought his targets would go up, concussion excuses can only be used so often against him. They just fazed him out for some unknown reason maybe they don't see him as the future because of his age and mileage but they are paying him why not use him!

That's because they keep force feeding Sanders. This will be Sanders first good season.

I was just going to ask what were Sanders statistics like at the Steelers, i never thought he was that prolific there, Pats were desperate for him two years ago glad we didn't get him.

Carr flying 22 from 28 254 yards and 3 TDs. Franchise quarterback in the making, imagine him with some legitimate talent around him not a bunch of nobody's.

Travis Kelce is 7 for 110 yards in the close match between Cardinals and the Chiefs.

Every NFL personnel guy asked preferred Carr over Kaepernick. The Niners have far more talent on offense and Kaepernick is doing less with it.

Agreed, Kaepernick is regressing badly, I would think the SF front office are thinking the trade of Alex Smith was a bad move!!

If Harbaugh leaves after the season I fully expect the wheels to come off in San Fran with Kaepernick.

Funniest line of the day so far: Caste clown announcer Chris Myers -- "Let's see if Colin Kaepernick can deliver a Jon Montana like come from behind victory." Three plays later the hapless Raiders intercepted the equally hapless Kaepernick.
