Time to start the Playoff thread.

Wild card weekend stacks up like this:

SAT JAN 4
Kansas City at Indianapolis
New Orleans at Philadelphia

SUN, JAN 5
San Diego at Cincinnati
San Francisco at Green Bay

Pretty clear cut battles of the caste persuasion. We should know by the end of next week whether the NFC is worth following because the following weeks Divisional Round will feature the 1 and 2 seeds, the odious Seahawks and Panthers. Let the black quarterback worship begin if the 49ers win.

Oddly enough the opposite exists in the AFC as the 1 and 2 seeds are two of the whiter team in the league. Denver and New England. I like either teams shot against any of the possible winners of the wildcard games.

I'm horrible at predictions, so like everybody else I'll make some. I know Green Bay owes SF an ass whipping and will have home field advantage which will help if it freezes and snows and slows Krapernicks ability to make yards off of busted plays. However the Pack D sucks and the 49ers is good so you know how that usually goes.

I can see NO winning in Philly if the conditions are good for a shoot out but Philly can put some points up too. Might be crappy in Philly that day too. KC's defense should have it's way with Indy (can you believe KC didn't get a home playoff game after that great start!). And I never like San Diego playing in January north of the Mason Dixon line. Still I'll keep my fingers crossed.

The only white friendly squad in which I lack confidence is Green Bay. Their offense can put up 30+ points with ease, but as you said, the defense is terrible. Matthews has already been ruled out.

San Diego has a revived running game which neutralizes potential poor conditions to some extent. Andy Dalton has not been playing well.

New Orleans is not a good road team. I expect them to struggle against Philly if conditions are bad.

KC vs. Indy is the least interesting game of the week. Both are similar in the blackness of their starting lineups.

yeah, If the Eagles gets some help from bad weather, I think they can & will beat New Orleans.
I usually don't root against Brees, but Foles is playing mistake-free QB.. 27 TDs to 2 INTs, he was snubbed by Pro Bowl voters, and he's being given a chance, at home, to prove himself post-season.. I think Foles' arm, his veteran-esque decision making & balancing their O, with McCoy's running will win a game in cold &/or damp conditions. I like Foles/Philly in this one , and the sportsbooks have Philly around 2 pt. favorites right now,(?)

That's a very possible nightmare scenario. It's a good chance that a Denver vs. Seattle Superbowl could happen. It would just be Peyton Manning's luck to get to another Superbowl and have to play in sub zero snowy conditions against a stout defense with a running QB that is used to crappy weather ball. Manning has had plenty of bad luck in his career, for a great QB, that last minute TD pass that beat him was an example. All those tough losses to the Pats in the snow in NE is another one. Heck his home field advantage may not help as Denver can be the worst for snow. February in NY? If the Seahawks make it I hope it's against the Pats.

The Seahawks are a strong team, but Arizona's victory at Seattle showed the football world that the Seahawks are beatable at home. That game could end up being a strong motivator for whoever plays there next.

I remember the one year Donovan McNabb made it to the big game (and choked), I was actually very interested in the game's outcome, because I did not want to see a Black quarterback win the Superbowl. Even in Superbowls where the teams were mostly Black, such as the years the Steelers and Ravens won, I didn't mind as much because a WHITE guy was QB.

Not that I have anything inherently against the Black race, but I knew the media would blow it up and turn McNabb into another Jesse Owens or Jackie Robinson or some other oberhyped showhorse. Not that McNabb would be the first Black QB ever to win the game, but of course the media would build him up as if he had to overcome a bunch of racism (a la that REPREHENSIBLE movie, The Express, about the first Black Heisman winner, YUCK).

Had that game occurred TODAY with McNabb as the QB, I honestly think there might be some fishy officiating in order to giftwrap the game for the Eagles. Maybe not outright cheating, but the benefit of the doubt would likely go in McNabb's favor in situations that called for it. Phantom whistles, and the like.

I think back when McNabb was actually in the Superbowl, perhaps the powers that be assumed that Black QBs leading their teams to the big game would be a regular thing.

Now that that scenario hasn't panned out (because Black QBs for the most part SUCK), the powerbrokers might be desperate to MAKE Blacks win, if they can't win on their own merit.

Therefore, I hope that all the Black QBs will be eliminated early. Of course, one can never count out the twelfth and thirteenth men—the officials and the announcers—to make the Black playcallers into actual QBs instead of what most of them really are, Q.B.S.

You would think it wouldn't be that hard for defensive coordinators to figure it out. Arizona simply made it a priority to stop Lynch and to keep Wilson in the pocket. That was it. They mixed up coverages a bit, but it was mostly just man coverage with Wilson contained in the pocket. Midget Wilson is a decent QB, better than most black quarterbacks, but is clearly not comfortable maneuvering around in the pocket and going through full-field progressions. Arizona didn't score many points, it's hard to do against the Seahawks D, but that's not where the battle is.

Kansas City RT Eric Fisher has a groin injury and might not play in Saturday's game. The Chiefs may be starting 0 whites on their offensive line, as they did once before this season. That combined with their under-utilization of the two white Anthonys (Sherman and Fasano) and their coal-black defense makes KC a very ugly team.

New England defeats Denver and reaches the Superbowl*

*I’ll admit that I’m partial to New England because of their revolutionary, Caste-busting whiteness (the genesis of which seemed to occur in 2007 and has only gotten better each year) and I’d like to see that commitment to white athletes finally rewarded after two tough Superbowl losses in 2007-2008 and 2011-2012. Of course, a Manning/Welker/Decker Superbowl appearance would be fine, too. Honestly, I have a feeling that if San Diego defeats the Bengals this weekend, that they’ll also defeat the Broncos in the Divisional Round.

*If this game occurs, I’m torn between the Packers and Eagles. The superstar ability and heavy utilization of Jordy Nelson, along with Aaron Rodgers, John Kuhn, and an all-white OL are a tempting choice. But the Eagles’ offense has far more receiving weapons (Cooper, Celek, Ertz, and sometimes Casey and Maehl), with a 4/5 white OL. It’s a toss-up. Thankfully, “our” teams, Green Bay and Philadelphia, wouldn’t have to play each other unless both squads made the NFC Championship Game. The ability of both of these defensively–putrid clubs to reach the title game is highly questionable. As Jax mentioned, Carolina, Seattle, and San Francisco have the NFL’s best defenses, so it wouldn’t be surprising if both of “our” two NFC teams are out of contention in 1-2 weeks.

As another poster mentioned, the only white-friendly teams that failed to make the playoffs were Minnesota and Dallas. If our AFC and NFC squads perform well, the 2013-2014 playoffs / Superbowl could be a great victory for our cause.Given that last year’s Superbowl was a wretched affair pitting two vile wigger coaches and their tar-imbued clubs against each other…any of the “ideal” Superbowl match-ups, New England/Denver VS. Green Bay/Philadelphia would be a great contest for which to showcase the best that white football has to offer.

A Pats-Eagles or Packers SB would be great and truly caste busting! I would cheer for the Chargers should they play the Broncos, however as they start 7 whites to the Broncos 5 and seem to have more white subs - especially on defense. Moreover, a white tailback is more revolutionary than two white starting receivers. Like you, I also see the Broncos losing in the playoffs. Sumo O-lines are a kiss of death.

There's the ideal side of things, as Thrashen explains above, and there's the reality. Unfortunately, it would be very difficult for either GB or PHI to go on the road and beat Seattle. They just don't have the defenses to compete at that level the way Arizona laid out the blueprint. SEA already has the Saints number, so only SF or CAR would have shot at winning up there.

So, looking the big picture, I think DEN has the offensive firepower to beat either of those quota-back led NFC teams. If its going to be cold and snowy as being predicted, then NE would be my choice.

Maybe it was to play mind games with dumb black affletes for the Saints. I am sure when they heard over a billion pounds of snow probably freaking out. The Saints even designed new sweatsuits to go under the uniforms.

Its a shame they aren't built like the Patriots, Brees would do so much better. He played at Purdue, and didn't struggle in the cold, wind etc. But he had guys like Vinny Sutherland, another White receiver (I forget his name but he had like a 100 catch season one year) and I believe a few White tight ends, and White linemen like Matt Light.

Sean Payton needs to realize that to win the Superbowl, he needs more Whites. Especially the way he wants to play ball, he still wants to throw it 60 times a game with 20 rushes. Ive seen the Patriots do that with it snowing pretty hard (remember Welker getting fined for making a snow angel?).

There is no advantage to having blacks (who are mostly from the South) and being strictly a dome team, the Superbowl is going to be outside this year, and probably in other years as well, and the path to the Superbowl is outside as well.

It might be a typo, but it shows how dumbed-down various writers, fact checkers and editors are not to catch it. I don't doubt that 99% plus of readers would also not think twice about such an obvious error of at least 1,000 times the actual figure.

Well I don't have a real cheesehead but I did order some pizza and I'm ready to root on the Packers in the frozen tundra. We need to stop talking about the stupid rumors started by Hilton on Aaron Rogers. He is not a fudge packer and never will be despite this guy fantasizing about him on brokeback mountain. Not ever gonna happen. So we here at this board will root for the "ladies man" than can get a win. The Ice Bowl part two is a good name for this game. So onto the present game. Nothing against Alex Smith but I'm leaning towards the Colts in this one. I like their receivers better and Luck is the next hall of famer of the young guys. He is that good. I won't be too sad if the Chiefs win though as Luck has a long career ahead of him. Smith still has alot of great years ahead too but he has not been given the respect he deserves. It would be poetic justice to see Krapernick get knocked out and Smith to advance. So to sum it up, this Colts/Chiefs Game will put a smile on my face regardless of who wins.
