Gotta like a team that has Adam Thielen as a star receiver and two other White receivers in the mix to be the third receiver:

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer mentioned Blake Proehl as a candidate for the No. 3 receiver role. An undrafted free agent, Proehl is competing with Chad Beebe, KJ Osborn, Olabisi Johnson and fifth-rounder Ihmir Smith-Marsette. The Vikings rarely feature their third receiver, but that could change with Kyle Rudolph gone. Proehl, who had a 47/577/4 line in nine games for ECU last year, would have late round Dynasty value if he finds his way into three-wide sets.

TE Tyler Conklin is another player to keep an eye on. DWFs assume Irv Smith is going to take over the starting tight end spot with Kyle Rudolph leaving but such may not necessarily be the case:

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said TE Tyler Conklin "emerged as a guy that's moving upward." Zimmer expects a "bigger role" for Conklin this season. The Vikings moved on from Kyle Rudolph, leaving Conklin to pick up his snaps behind Irv Smith. That should lead to significant playing time, as Minnesota ran 12 personnel on 43.5% of plays last year. Conklin flashed late in 2020 with both Rudolph and Smith sidelined. The 2018 fifth-rounder doesn't have standalone value but is a hedge for Smith drafters.

Blake Proehl was a steal as an UDFA. There's no way he shouldn't have been drafted. He's got speed and great hands. He's a good candidate for the flanker position as a deep threat.

I'd have taken him as high as the 2nd round. If he gets a fair shot he could be a good starter.

Here are some Blake Proehl highlights from JustBombProductions, which seems to be the most popular highlight producing channel going by views. The comments keep calling him Adam Thielen 2.0, but in this case it's an apt comparison, Blake's size and playing style indeed is like Adam's. Now that Belichick is trying a "new way," let's hope the Vikings, Rams and maybe one or two other teams will at least be semi-fair to a few of the abundant number of qualified White receivers who deserve a shot in the NFL.

And if bloodlines mean anything, this kid should get a good look in the NFL. Those of us who have been watching this anti-White league through clear eyes for a long time well remember the dark days when Ricky Proehl was the only White starting WR in the entire league.

From an article making predictions about the Vikings. They have so many White receivers in training camp that you gotta hope they end up with three on the roster. Proehl and Beebe in addition to Thielen would be nice to see:

And as far as Mr. Mankato, the designation for an underdog who rises during training camp? Graff is betting on Blake Proehl. I love that the bit that started from the former radio station 1500 ESPN continues even if the team hasn't gone to Mankato [for training camp since 2017]. The goal essentially is to identify the rookie that wasn't a Day 1 or 2 draft pick that breaks out most in camp and sets themselves up for a roster spot. Some second-year players are eligible. But I'm taking Proehl, the undrafted free agent the Vikings valued most, the receiver they rewarded with six figures in guaranteed money. Proehl claims that he's modeled his game after Adam Thielen and he's looking for a similar success story. The Vikings badly need wide receivers to step up behind Thielen and Justin Jefferson, and Proehl is a top contender. https://www.vikings.com/news/dede-westbrook-kellen-mond-mr-mankato-nomination

Yes three of a kind like in Poker. The Vikings have replaced the Patriots as my favorite team to watch. Hoping for the 3 greengo amigos to all be on the team at wideout. I'm happy
about Funk going to the Rams but I was hoping he would have wound up on the Vikings. They will still be one of the better teams to watch!

Johnson is one of the guys who was battling to be the Vikings' third or fourth receiver, so his season ending injury helps the likes of Beebe, Proehl and Chisena. Minnesota did sign Dede Westbrook the other day, but while not a bust he hasn't lived up to his expected "upside" either and is coming off his own torn ACL last season so I'm not too worried about his chances of being the third or even fourth receiver at this point.

All most of our guys need is just a chance to shine in the spotlight. The majority of them show their amazing skills when given playing time
and the trust is built. This could hopefully lead to a good career for a few of these guys. Sometimes just being in the right place at the right
time is all you need. Good luck to these 3 fine young receivers.

Again hate to cheer for injuries, but we need all the help we can get! Great news for the Young Vikings WRs. Minnesota has a real chance at winning the division this season with all the off-season turmoil in Green Bay.

At this point I’m indifferent to happy when an afflete gets injured (depends on the player). It’s something ive though about a lot from a moral standpoint so it’s not a rash impulsive response.

White players have such an unfair disadvantage rooted in discrimination that they need all the breaks they can get. Peyton Hillis remains the poster child for this. Even a decade plus later no real in roads have been made at the collegiate or pro levels to allow for more White skill position players. Black players in high school, college and the pros won’t admit they benefit from anti-White bias. Much like the vast majority of blacks seem to have no problem blaming White people for issues in greater society. On top of that the horrific number of black on white crimes that are completely ignored and even celebrated openly by blacks.

I am sure many blacks and dwfs have no issue rooting for when a white athlete is injured.

Agreed, I don't feel bad either. We're in no position to be on the moral high ground lol.

The black quarterback tested positive for Covid so Cousins and Stanley are both out 10 days due to being close contacts. Jake Browning seems to be making the most of the opportunity. I’d argue Browning is better than Mond.

Admittedly forgot about Browning! Good to see him making the most of it.

Everybody loves Jake Browning for different reasons. I love him as a UW fan, we here like him for our reasons, and nfl dorks love him because he’s vaccinated

Wanting to keep the Vikings thread going so here's a good article and a few clips of HoF (G) Steve Hutchinson who was inducted this year and he seems like a class act and a well-deserving guy. The game is truly won in the trenches and he was a battler for sure and was a talent respected by all. Even Brady called him to congratulate him! Minnesota would be special with a snow plow but even though they aren't this year they are still the team I want to win it all.

Blake Proehl was just starting to climb up the depth chart, he was the #7 receiver on the one they released yesterday with a shot at making the roster. Sounds like he tore his ACL today… The two rookie WR’s I was most interested in this year (Gaither & Proehl) are done. Hopefully he gets a chance next year.

LB Cameron Smith decides to retire. He had heart surgery last year. He was a damn good LB at USC.

Damn. He took a fall and his head bounced on the turf in the first preseason game. They were checking him for a concussion. I guess he had a chance to take an injury settlement and get out.

The anti-White “science” cultists over at Rotoworld write some of the most venomous bile I’ve ever seen from a “sports” site. They really hate Kirk Cousins with a passion. Probably due to him being an outspoken Christian. These (((serpents))) just can’t hid their hatred for Christ and his followers.

Vikings waived QB Jake Browning.

There was some belief Browning would stick around because he was the only Vikings quarterback who chose to get inoculated against COVID-19 this summer, but Browning simply was not good enough in camp and the preseason. The Vikings will stash him on the practice squad and hope he sticks around in the event that Facebook-addicted starter Kirk Cousins again has to go on the COVID-19 list and takes his backups down with him as close contacts.

Hilarious how these ******** feel entitled to put their political spin on things.

Weenieworld likes to use what looks like Beebe's junior high school photo when they run blurbs about him. Bad break for Chad. Will the Vikings even have two White receivers this season?

Vikings placed WR Chad Beebe (foot) on injured reserve.

As Beebe was placed on injured reserve before the final roster cuts, he will miss the entirety of the 2021 season. Beebe was the frontrunner to land the No. 3 receiver role for Minnesota before the injury. The door is now open for fifth-round rookie Ihmir Smith-Marsette to take over that gig. Beebe only managed to turn the role into 20 receptions for 201 yards but a boost in playing time for Smith-Marsette would give his dynasty value a pulse.

That is a terrible break. I’m pretty bummed about the White Purge and now this. And yes, they absolutely try to emasculate him by using that photo. This is what he looks like more recently.

Hmmm, I notice he has something else he has in common with Cousins other than his race. I’m sure it triggers some serious kvetching with our kosher pals over at Weenieworld.

Onward Christian Soldier. I hope he heals up in a short period of time as his career depends on him being on the field. He was poised for a big year. Still gonna
stay positive. The fact that he is a fellow christian will only make Cousins even happier to throw him the ball.
