He may begin the season as a starter but the team (and the media) have been hyping rookies Brian Robiskie and Mohamed Massaquoi as starting opposite hands of stone head case Braylon Edwards. Robiskie in particular has been promoted as "NFL ready," presumably because he's the son of an NFL coach and shouldn't have the endless "learning curve" so many black receivers do. Furrey will probably end up in the slot, which is a good fit for him. With Edwards and some rookies at WR, Furrey has a chance to duplicate his outstanding 2006 season.
