While it's tough for any coach to survive three straight non playoff seasons, I'm still surprised by this, given the Dolphins tanked in Flores' first year in 2019. Though he was probably inevitability doomed by the pick of Tagovailoa over Herbert in 2020.

I don't have any bad feeling towards Flories, he seemed like a reasonably fair coach by caste standards and I don't recall him aggressively embracing any BLM nonsense, and seems to be mature and disciplined. He also did a great job as the DC on the Patriots last Super Bowl team in 2018.

True, but it's also being reported that he was the main person banging the drum to bring Deshaun Watson here. The reason Watson was specifically targeting Miami as his #1 landing spot (aside from all the promiscuous sex on South Beach) was because they had a black coach in Flores. Watson is a racist POS and for that reason alone, I'm glad Flores got fired.

As far as picking Tagovailoa over Herbert, it's water under the bridge. I get that the Dolphins are haunted by the fact that Herbert turned out to be as good as he is, but you make due with the talent you have on your roster. Flores didn't want to do that so he purposely set Tagovailoa up to fail. You can't coach like you have this big effing ego, especially when you've proven nothing in the league. He also did nothing to develop our guys on the offensive line (Davis, Dieter, and Eichenberg), installed some Haitian affirmative action nobody as the OL coach, didn't utilize an athletic freak like Gesicki in the passing game, didn't play Laird at all, and expected this offense not to be total dogsh*t. Flores definitely deserved to be fired.

The Dolphins hired Mike McDaniel to be their HC. Some funny stuff going on in social media where people are stating he's another White guy when he is mixed. Another fine example of how confused the left is when it comes to trying to explain MUH DIVERSITY.

Obviously all coaches are hits or misses but this guy could the extreme hit or miss. He looks like Woody Allen's son, I don't think he has any playing experience at the college level and if there is a poisonous locker room that is divided he won't be able to lay down the law to a malcontent dividing the team.

I remember Philbin had this problem as he just came across as wishy washy, if I didn't know any better he looks like the analytics guy promoted because nobody else wanted the job.

McDaniel on the left.

The 49ers must be laughing their asses off. They just got two 3rd round picks as compensation for developing this “minority” coach. I’m sure this guy isn’t totally lying when he identifies as “multiracial” but we know the Rooney Rule wasn’t for him. In fact, it would be great if lots of White coaches identified as “multiracial” when applying for HC gigs. They could just say they got a DNA test and have 1 or 2% North African or something. Use the rules of the anti-White system against itself.

So dork is a now a minority? Or is he "Latino", AA or Native American?

PS McDaniel is a Quadroon to Octaroon. Man the well must be dry for young Black coaches if this guy is being hired as a minority...

That would be very little problem for quite a few, as they can claim Native American or Native heritage. For quite a while, the NHL pumped up very white looking, diminutive star Theo Fleury as non-white, because he had some native blood. Fleury was always featured with Anson Carter and Mike Grier (dark skinned blacks) as NHL minorities.

Mike McDaniel is really playing up the bi-racial angle. He’s 38, so he grew up in the 80s and 90s in Aurora, Colorado. He claims that “on multiple occasions his friends weren’t allowed to spend the night at his home” due to racial bigotry.

That’s the best example he can come up with? He needs to stop before all White and black people tell him to stfu.

Sounds like a flat-out lie, on the same level as Tiger Woods claiming that when he was young, he wasn't allowed to play on many golf courses because of the color of his skin. Woods was forced to retract his lie when the truth came out.

Woods' first Nike commercials contained the ridiculous whopper that "There are still courses in the United States that I am not allowed to play because of the color of my skin." Nike pulled the ad after Woods was asked to name a single course he couldn't play on and of course he couldn't name one.

Funny that now that Fleury is a very outspoken conservative, his native heritage (Metis) is downplayed and he is just another evil White man..

The corporate media is loving this Woods type (non) story, could you imagine how much they would be doing cartwheels if he was a fanook...https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...-coach-mike-mcdaniel-extremely-proud-biracial

The Dolphins traded 5 draft picks to the chiefs for the woman and child beater tyreek hill. This will ensure that the Dolphins stink during the McDaniels era lol.

https://nfltraderumors.co/breaking-chiefs-trading-tyreek-hill-to-dolphins/

They might not be as bad as you think. They still have one of the best TE groups in the league with Gesicki, Long, and Smythe. As of right now, a 3/5 white O-line (Connor Williams was a sneaky good acquisition) a couple of our guys on defense (Zach Sieler has turned into a nice player) and I could see the Dolphins making some noise. I know you're not a fan of Tua, but you can't deny that he was set up to fail by an affirmative action coaching staff that included some Haitian no-name offensive line coach and a roided up, megalomaniacal black head coach who made no secret he wanted to replace him with a habitual sex offender. I expect McDaniel to get more out of Tua than Flores ever did. I just wish we could get some white WR's. Gesicki almost is like a WR and I expect McDaniel to get more out of him than Flores ever did. Losing the draft picks for Hill isn't even that big of a deal since it's most likely they would have just drafted sumos and affletes with those picks anyway.

Any word on why Gesicki laid down on his arbitration dispute? He accepted the TE franchise tag of ~$11 million instead of the franchise WR tag of ~$18 million. I thought he had a decent gripe.

From BleacherReport:
Mike Gesicki snaps in 2021 (PFF):
Inline tight end: 13
Slot: 137
Out wide: 51

Gesicki's 3.7 percent pass-block rate on quarterback dropbacks was the fourth-lowest among tight ends.

I think Gesicki's always been a team first guy which is another reason he's my favorite player on the team. I follow him on Instagram and he definitely loves it here in South Florida. My guess is, he probably wants to see how he does in this new offense before discussing his next contract and his preference would be to remain with the Dolphins.

1982 killer bees defense. Amazing but YT was still capable of playing defense at that point and it was the highest ranked in the league

The undefeated 1972 Dolphins started 10 White men on defense. As the above picture shows, they kept a majority White defense well into the '80s. Around the mid '80s Don Shula began to "grow" right as the Caste System was coming into being full force and by the early '90s he was following the typical NFL template of an overwhelmingly Black defense and no more White receivers and running backs. And not coincidentally, despite having the great Dan Marino, the Dolphins were no longer a serious contender as they had been all through the '70s when Shula arrived and through the mid-'80s. Marino's best chance at winning a Super Bowl was following the 1984 season, his second in the league and the year he broke many of Joe Namath's single season passing records. It's a shame all-time great coaches like Shula and Joe Paterno caved to the Caste System rather than continuing what had made them so successful previously. The pressure to conform is extremely strong for all public figures.

The last thing a team should do with Mike Gesicki is make him a blocking tight end. And yet it looks like the Dolphins are doing exactly that:

Gesicki has been deployed more as a blocker than as a pass catcher during the early portion of Miami's training camp, the Boston Herald reports. Analysis: Gesicki, who is in line to play out the 2022 season under the franchise tag, has been positioned in-line more often than out wide or in the slot during the early days of training camp. Few targets have gone his way so far, per camp reports. Coach Mike McDaniel's wide-zone run scheme has historically relied on a capable blocking tight end, to the tune of George Kittle (lower body) back in San Francisco, but that isn't a skill that Gesicki has been asked to feature regularly since joining the Dolphins in 2018. McDaniel said Gesicki wants to "attack blocking with a different severity than he ever has before" this offseason, and the coach mentioned that facilitating a strong rushing game will help create opportunities for the tight end in the middle of the field. Still, with both Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle around to soak up passing volume, it's unclear whether Gesicki will repeat on 100-plus targets in what looks like a new role.

The pressure to conform is extremely strong for all public figures.

The writing was on the wall that Shula would eventually become a caste cuck when he started a 3/5 sumo O-line on the 1984 Super Bowl team. Most O-lines in 1984 from what I remember were almost exclusively white. Most Dolphin fans don't have a favorable view of Jimmy Johnson but I actually like what he did here when he took over for Shula. Shula's early 90's teams were very much coal black. Johnson brought in some much needed pale faces in Zach Thomas, Rob Konrad, Trace Armstrong, along with some white O-linemen and tight ends.

The last thing a team should do with Mike Gesicki is make him a blocking tight end. And yet it looks like the Dolphins are doing exactly that:

I worry about Gesicki. He's my favorite player on the team and also a very polarizing figure among the Dolphins DWF fanbase. This athletic freak should be a WR, but because of the caste system he's slotted into the TE role.

Another thing that pisses me off about McDaniel and the Dolphins is the demotion of Michael Deiter at C. I thought he played admirably on a terrible Oline last year, yet he gets demoted (Connor Williams has been slid over to C) so they can justify having 1st round bust Austin Jackson (who was terrible at both LT and G last year) into a starting role. The reasoning is, yep, you guess it "dat upside" Connor Williams (whom I like as a G) has been struggling with snapping the ball in practice which is what his issue playing C was in Dallas. Just leave him at G and put Deiter at C, fuggin idiots! But noooooooooooooooooo we just HAVE shoehorn Austin Jackson in there because he just has too much "upside"

The only redeeming quality I've seen from McDaniel so far was his decision to stick with Tua and not pursue Deshaun Watson. The Dolphins passing game has looked pretty electric so far in training camp, but the key word here is training camp. It's not going to matter how "electric" the passing game looks when you have bums like Austin Jackson blocking and an injury prone Terron Armstead (who's not a bum by any means but I do feel he's overrated and always seems to miss at least a few games every year) If Tua gets injured because of these sumos (which is very probable) our backup is Sewerwater. That doesn't bode well for the Dolphins chances at making the playoffs.

Sounds like Tua is one more concussion away from having his NFL career end, voluntarily or involuntarily:

ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques reports Tua Tagovailoa will not participate in Pro Bowl activities because he remains in concussion protocol.

It's described as a "deliberate" period of time in protocol as he meets with multiple doctors and specialists. Louis-Jacques emphasizes that there here have not been any setbacks. Still, this has been nearly a month in protocol and it is fair to have some rightful concern over Tagovailoa's long-term health based solely on that information. Chris Grier said earlier in January that the team does not believe Tagovailoa is more prone to concussions than the average player and that the team plans to have him as the starting quarterback in 2023.
