Come on folks, enough with the nasty comments. Where's the regard for human life here? Someone has lost a son, a brother, a father, and who knows what else?
Yes Mcnair wasn't the rat bastard so many other NFL affaletes are, and yes he was a pretty good Qb in his prime, and yeah ESPN and the sports media should be complimentary of him in his untimely passing. But I don't see why a few negative comments on this site are out of place. It's not our place to celebrate the guy and we were pretty hard on him during his career. I don't think it's a big deal to mention his shortcomings or transgressions, nobody here is whooping it up because he's dead and for sure no one else is going to bring up his personal failings which had something to do with his unfortunate passing.
I seriously doubt anyone with a personal attachment to McNair is trolling this site and feels depressed because of some less them complimentary remarks on his death.
