Come on folks, enough with the nasty comments. Where's the regard for human life here? Someone has lost a son, a brother, a father, and who knows what else?
Don already said everything I was going to say. Compared to the thugs we have the in NFL these days, this was a good man. He competed hard on the field, and as a whole package, was a pretty decent QB for quite a few years.
And despite a few minor transgressions off of it (no one is perfect), he was known for doing some good work in the community. Just this year, he financed 3 youth football camps with his own money, and has always been involved with giving back to the poor.
May God have mercy on this soul.
