A McGregor win would be a great boost to the image of the white athlete. I sure hope he wins.

According to one site the opening bell will be at 11:55 EST.

Anyone with any reports on the fight might want to post them here.

According to one report McGregor won round 1.

I'm not watching the fight just following it on the net.

I would slightly edge round 4 to McGregor, but I'd say the refs easily scored it for Mayweather (of course) but Mayweather is making it a dirtier fight now, trying to fight inside

Another close round, I thought McGregor won again, but with Vegas refs definitely probably went to Floyd. Floyd is not wanting to break away easy but Byrd admonishes McGregor for not getting suckered. Floyd shoves a glove in his face after the bell.

They're saying McGregor looks exhausted...

I'd give that one to Mayweather. Mayweather came at him first half, but McGregor held his own second half. McGregor has a gas tank problem so we'll see how it holds up.

Another round for Mayweather. McGregor looks exhausted so unless he catches a second wind it's probably over.
Some things Floyd's doing, turning his back and turtling up expecting ref to separate and his opponent to not hit him, not trying to break cleanly to get head butts, elbows, and punches on the break.

Close round. Could have gone to McGregor in fair judging, but I'd say Mayweather is probably up 5-3, but should be 6-2 or 5-3 McGregor. Hell it could be 8-0 Mayweather with these Vegas judges.

Clear round for Floyd. McGregor hurt him with a legal body shot, Mayweather hammed it up and Byrd broke it up and warned Conor for the "low blow." Then Mayweather t'd off on him and McGregor looked exhausted, but managed to hang on.

Wow, unbelievable who would think a raw novice could out box a master of boxing. It was only the lack of boxing conditioning that cost him this fight. In the first few rounds it looked like a boxing lesson. The only hope for McGregor was maybe he could rally like Horn did against Pacman but Mayweather didn't gas out unlike Pacman.

McGregor was pretty damn foolish all around, fought in Vegas, against Floyd, accepted Byrd as ref, accepted boxing rules instead of something neutral like kickboxing, but he got paid and that's all he cares about anyway.

It sounds like McGregor gave a good acount of himself. He didn't get knocked out early as many predicted. It was his first fight in boxing.

I really bought the hype that McGregor could win but here in the forum were some guys saying that he had zero chances so I didn't had to much expectations.

Man, I was hoping McGregor could do it. He stuck in there a long time though...

Let's see if may weather has the balls to train mms for as long as mcgregor trained for this fight and meet mcgregor in the mma ring....I highly doubt it lol

Of course that's not going to happen. Mayweather would do a lot worse fighting McGregor in MMA than McGreger did in boxing him.

Floyd had all of the cards, if the rules weren't straight boxing he would have taken his ball and went home. I still think stand up MMA rules even with boxing gloves and no forearms or elbows and McGregor probably wins if he didn't gas out.

Ps Byrd either ignored the rules or isn't an elite referee as Floyd fouled often to rally in this fight. He kept on punching low and forearm pushing in McGregor's face. Yet he saw most of the top of the head punches by McGregor.
