Galloway was a good player.  He is washed up now and Jones is much better than him.
Don Wassall said:Galloway's washed up but that wasn't clear until this season as he was injured in '08 following three straight thousand yard seasons. Now here's a great example of the kind of turd often found in the NFL who can't be "washed up" because he was never any good to begin with yet he keeps showing up like a bad penny:ÂÂÂ

The Browns worked out free agent WR Robert Ferguson, according to Adam Caplan. The Browns could use a playmaker opposite Mohammad Massaquoi, but Ferguson wouldn't be much of an upgrade over Brian Robiskie, Chansi Stuckey or Mike Furrey.
Don Wassall said:Scumbag Donte Stallworth was released by the Browns yesterday after being reinstated by "hardline" commissioner Roger Godell, but is already working out for the Lions. He killed someone but won't have trouble being employed by the NFL again. In fact, here is what the "hardline" commissioner is quoted as saying in an AP article I ran across today: "I think he's in a better place than he was. I think he recognizes what he did and the horrific nature and the unfortunate outcome, and I think he's prepared himself to get back in and play."

<div>On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the worst, what Stallworth did is a 10, while Matt Jones snorting some coke and then drinking a few beers is about a 2. And Jones is younger and more talented than Stallworth, who has been a super injury prone bust since being drafted in the first round in '02. </div>

It would be like Randy Moss running Welker's routes. Sometimes they have Moss run those types of routes and he looks terrible. Jones was on pace for a 1,000 yards if he hadn't missed those 4 games and did well despite being misused. They leave up other NFL player's highlight videos, just not Matt Jones....

Titans beat writer Jim Wyatt "hears" that free agent Matt Jones is leaning toward signing with the Bengals.
The Titans' offer is believed to be for just $700,000, and Jones would compete with Kenny Britt, Justin Gage, and Nate Washington for playing time. The Bengals have a deep-threat need opposite Chad Ochocinco, but Jones' best route is the quick slant. Considering Carson Palmer's late-season accuracy woes and loss of arm strength, Jones' big body may actually be a nice fit in the Bengals' conservative offense.
