I get it. Here's to hoping McNeil is let loose next season.

In the late night game, Oregon St and their 2 White starters knocked of Oklahoma St. OKST has black coach and roster as well as the overhyped “superstar” Cunningham. Glad to see them bounced early.

I felt the same! Reichle couldn't get anything going, but Silva muscled his way into 7 points and 12 rebounds with 4 blocks. The refs called a ridiculous 53 fouls in this game. That should favor the iso-ball superstar, but Cunningham couldn't ignite a run (the Cowboys got close toward the end, but on his teammates' shooting). He also padded his stats late.

Wild shootout between Iowa and Oregon. I can't imagine Oregon stays so hot shooting in the second half, but I'd feel more confident if Iowa could play a lick of defense. Awful foul at the halftime buzzer to give the Ducks three foul shots.

I’m listening to the game on the radio, seems like there have been a lot of questionable calls. Oregon is on absolute fire though. Weiscamp with a sprained ankle not good.

Ugly second half for Iowa and definitely the most disappointing loss of the tournament so far from a caste perspective. Garza is playing huge as ever but gets no help apart from Weiskamp. The Big Ten has really stunk it up this weekend.

Another crap loss for The Big Ten indeed. Iowa's defense optional routine came back to bite them. Also Oregon was fresh because VCU had Covaids.

Bad loss for Caste. At least this Oklahoma- Gonzaga game has a lot of white stars.

I'm hoping that this second round game will be the last time we have to hear a female color commentator this year. It's not as if she isn't pretty bad at it. I can't imagine this particular voice, or any female voice, tests well with any focus group of college basketball fans, even the DWF sh*tlibs or normiecons who would not be so explicit. I visualize a 6'1 butch lesbian with spiky short hair, which is not the mental image I want to have when watching anything save maybe gymnastics, volleyball, or olympic fencing.

This raises another question. Can you imagine something like 'Miracle on Ice,' or even a regular buzzer-beater, being called by a female? The excitement and inflection in a man's voice relays the significance of the moment. Wouldn't you subconsciously think that an excited female just wants to rut with the winning male athletes? Even if you had to suspend the butch lesbian mental image, I would assume biology trumps any cosmopolitan appreciation of sports. No one voted for it, and the majority should not want it.

Of course, our preferences are not the point. They are just selling us "burgers."

I noticed one or two very mundane black commentators shoehorned into token duty in the first round. On an upbeat note, I actually really enjoyed listening to Avery Johnson call games. He's enthusiastic, upbeat, and has a lot of insight on technique and mentality. I thought that his strong southern drawl was very endearing; unique to hear on a national broadcast, but ironically this will probably cap his career ceiling.

TRUE Jimmy C.

Drew Timme career high 30 points + 13 rebs....Corey Kispert chipped in w 16

Austin Reaves finishes w 27; smooth player has some alpha dog in him!

Yes Bucky i too thought Oregon got the benefit of being Fresher team advancing 1st Round w/o playing VCU

This asymptomatic stuff is frustrating!

So looks like Gonzaga is our best bet followed by Michigan. Syracuse, Loyola Chicago and Oregon State not bad options either. If Kansas wins they also have a couple of gym rats in the rotation.

Good showing for Reeves! Went out with a great game, unfortunately Manek had a down game.

Watched some of Reeves highlights online.
When he dribbles and shoots, his moves remind me of Luka.
When he stop and pops, or drives to the hoop, he reminds me a bit of Pistol Pete.

In a fair world, Reeves could carve out a Jeff Hornacek type career in the NBA.

That’s who he reminded me of as well, same body type. Less talented at this point. He has some hops as well. It seems like he dunked a lot more last year. Maybe he was playing with some nagging injuries this season. https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/28614682

No worries that he is dunking less.
It's much more important that he can get to the basket and finish. And from what I've seen he can.
Go to 30 seconds into this clip. Very impressive drive and finish.

He is making everyone look silly trying to guard him. Way better dribbler and driver than Hornacek and with such a soft touch on his shot. Reaves is also far more athletic and this is
coming from a Hornacek Fan. The kid deserves a shot in the nba without a doubt. The question is will some team see his obvious potential?

Nice highlights! I listened to the game on the radio and it sounded like he was taking mostly jump shots. He really schooled Suggs who is going to be a top 5 draft pick according to the experts. It was interesting listening to the announcers try to explain why Gonzaga’s 3rd leading scorer Suggs ( who is good for a freshman ) was going to be drafted ahead of Timme and Kispert.

for those who may be interested in women’s hoops ... Saturday the two best freshmen in the country (who both happen to play point guard, and who both happen to be lovely White ladies) are going head-to-head in the Sweet Sixteen. #5-seeded Iowa, who starts an all-White lineup that is led by Caitlin Clark, takes on #1-seeded UConn, led by Paige Buckets.

it should be fun to watch!

Second weekend of March Madness begins today. Rooting for Loyola to beat Oregon State, ORU to beat Arkansas, and Syracuse over Houston. Villanova and Baylor I don't really care about.

The woke pschopathic LGBTQ Left now have ORU in their sights for cancellation because the school states openly and unambiguously in their charter that homosexuality is a sin and that the school does not accept homo behavior. So now ORU is my favorite team left in the field and need to be supported by all sane people.

Agree on all counts. Let's go ORU!

Loyola and Syracuse would be an epic matchup. I'd love to see how Krutwig fares against the 2-3 zone and whether Loyola can close out on Boeheim and Girard. Hope both teams hold serve today.

Disappointing that Loyola wasn't able to pull it out, but they had their chances and played hard. Oregon State played a really good game and are playing very well right now. They don't look like a #12 seed.
