Kispert needs to be more aggressive! Suggs and nemhard have to get him the ball. They seem to ignore him.

Baylor looks like an NBA team. They have not let up at all. Just been firing on all cylinders all night.

Baylor is just outplaying Gonzaga. Better shooting, defense, rebounding and fewer turnovers. Kispert unfortunately has been cold since UCLA game. They're making nothing from perimeter.

Kispert was a complete non-factor. He just disappeared in this game.
Baylor played really well, and Gonzaga didn't. They played poor defense, turned the ball over constantly, and didn't shoot well.
They didn't have it.

Awful game that I couldn't bring myself to watch. I flipped it on about five minutes into it and saw the lopsided start, turned it right back off. It looked tonight was decided in this opening little stretch.

I expect Timme to come back, especially as he's getting almost zero draft buzz, and be a Player of the Year frontrunner all season. A pairing with Holmgren would be tons of fun.

This still felt like a great tournament overall for our guys. Lots of big time performances and new faces building prominence. In particular, I'll be watching to see where the Groves brothers from Eastern Washington land from the transfer portal, if anywhere. Buddy Boeheim and Hunter Dickinson are also realistic PotY candidates in their respective conferences.

it was Baylor’s night. they could do no wrong in any phase of the game, and their 3-pt shooting was simply off the charts! meanwhile Gonzaga couldn’t hit an open 3 to save their life, turned the ball over far too much, and couldn’t keep Baylor off the offensive glass. the Bears played MUCH more aggressively and were rewarded for their efforts.

that’s the beauty of the Madness ... in a one-game scenario, anything can happen.

i am hopeful that the physicality of the game, and the associated results(specifically those sloppy turnovers), encourages Timme to get his butt in the weight room.

Sad that Gonzaga cannot get that monkey off their back and win a championship. I thought this was their best chance to do it. Just had an off night and faced a team who played the game of their life.

Very tough to see a almost all black Baylor team win the championship because our guys had a great tournament. Baylor was better no doubt. I feel awful for Mark Few great year and no championship at the end. Hopefully next season a caste friendly team can win it all.

Kispert had the big block in the second half but the game was close to getting out of hand at that point. The Zags were the equivalent of a boxer that was dropped multiple times in the early rounds of fight and didn't have enough rounds to grind out a decision.

Timme was a non factor in this game, in retrospect the Zags should have played at a different pace and fed Timme the ball down low more and he could have kicked it out Kispert or Suggs for open looks.

PS in a humorous side note all of the Zags Mulatto players looked like siblings on the small screen pirate feed I was watching, aside from the height of Watson I couldn't tell him from Suggs or the Canadian.

Had wondered how much gas Gonzaga would have after the Overtime thriller vs UCLA?? Not sure that's a legit excuse. They just came out flat ; looked tired and slow. But give Baylor props for playing lights out & jumping on them early!

Someone said if they played 10 times ; Baylor would win 8; i might go w 7.

Gonzaga was out of gas. Baylor made twice as many 3’s and nearly twice as many rebounds. There’s your ballgame. I agree with an earlier poster that Timme needs to hit the weight room hard and come back next year with more physicality.

What a turd of a game. To go all season playing well and to lay an egg on the biggest stage. I hate Baylor too? What a crap ending to a crap tournament (for me) my favorite teams (Michigan) and Gonzaga making good runs and then playing uncompetitive last games.

Pretty good summary. Baylor ended up destroying my team early on(Wisconsin). Was pulling hard for Michigan and Gonzaga after that.. O well.
