Once Breidis got comfortable and found his range it was all over. Great display of power punching! It's odd how the cruiser weights get overlooked. It really is an exciting weight class. The punch like heavyweights but can move like middleweights.
As far as I can tell Whites have all the major belts now. Lebedev is still the WBA champion(Shumenov is the regular champion), Gassiev is the IBF and the two fighters you mentioned are both champions. If Usyk wasn't around I would say Breidis is the best. But, Usyk moves around like a Welterweight so Breidis will not better him. It is, however, a pleasant position for whites to be in where the number 1 and 2 of the division are head and shoulders above the rest.
I like Usyk, but I'm rooting for Briedis to win on Saturday. He's had less opportunity and more to overcome on his way to his WBC world title.
