Let the Cam Newton propaganda begin!!

There will always be black QB hype jobs as long as there is a caste system. The caste masters so want that position to be dominated by non-whites that they will repeatedly make fools of themselves trying to make it happen. We have to give a ton of credit to White QBs for collectively withstanding the artificially inflated tide for as long as they have. White QBs cannot be beat. They are the best, period.
 
I have never heard of this guy, but he's a whole lot brighter than the rest.

I just saw an issue of The Sporting News, I think it was an NFL Draft issue or something. In the upper right hand cover it had a picture of Newton, with "Cam Newton, redefining the Quarterback Position." Typical, Sporting News, SI, ESPN Magazine etc., same old Pro-black Afflete Propaganda.

Welcome to the board, SportingChance! The Sporting News is not completely inaccurate, if they mean that sCam Newton will "redefine" the position in a downward direction.....
 
Some mocks have Scam going as late as the second round. Hopefully that turns out to be false. I'd like to see him be the first pick so that he can be an even bigger bust than fellow afflete Jamarcus Russell. After he's out of the league in a few seasons, he and Jamarcus can hang out together and get their "purple drank on."
 
Newton has done everything wrong since the end of the college season. Two awful workouts, despite the lusty homoerotic praises of Trent Dilfer. His arrogant, cocky nature evident in every idiotic word he utters. Unimpressive interviews. And yet, somehow, his stock has "risen," according to the jock sniffing "experts."

Btw, I have a really hard time believing this moron got a 21 on the Wonderlic test. It's not a great score, but Jake Locker only scored a 20 and Tim Tebow got a 22 last year. I'm sorry, but I think that score is very suspicious. Kind of like how Akili Smith went from like a 6 to a 38 or something. Yeah, right.

This clown should be a late round pick at best.
 
Every time Cam Newton has a workout, interview, etc, his stock falls. In between actual measurable performances his stock mysteriously rises. That should be evidence alone that he is being hyped up and is not an elite QB.<div>

Ha, ESPN Radio was ripping this analysis, and Nawrocki is on defending it and further quotes GMs calling Newton as "narcissistic" "delusional" "fraud."
 
At least there are a few legit sports reporters/analysts left in the world who aren't afraid to write what so many are thinking but afraid to voice.
 
Cheers to Nawrocki. I don't care if a guy is black or white if they have an ego the size of the grand canyon. It's ok to be a little arrogant but most guys these days I can't even stand to listen to them talk. It's a good thing we have mute buttons for the players and the announcers.

Warren Moon, the first African-American quarterback to be elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, told CBSSports.com that he believes some of the criticism of Auburn quarterback Cam Newton is based in racism.

"A lot of the criticism he's receiving is unfortunate and racially based," Moon, who is Newton's adviser, told the website. "I thought we were all past this. I don't see other quarterbacks in the draft being criticized by the media or fans about their smile or called a phony. He's being held to different standards from white quarterbacks. I thought we were past all this stuff about African-American quarterbacks, but I guess we're not.



"Of course there is racism in every walk of society. We've made a lot of progress in this country. But racism is still there. I just thought in the sports arena we were beyond it. I think the way Cam is being treated shows we're not."

A draft profile in Pro Football Weekly published this week blasted Newton. Under the category of negatives, Newton was described as "very disingenuous -- has a fake smile, comes off as very scripted and has a selfish, me-first makeup. Always knows where the cameras are and plays to them."

The profile also said that Newton "lacks accountability, focus and trustworthiness."

Moon said he doesn't believe NFL teams are discriminating against Newton, but Moon is upset about the public perception of Newton. Moon told the website that Newton unfairly is being compared to recent draft flameout JaMarcus Russell just because they share the same skin color.

He also pointed out that Sam Bradford came out of a spread offense with Oklahoma similar to the offense Newton ran at Auburn, but there didn't seem to be questions whether Bradford could run a pro-style offense once he was drafted.

"Some of these questions about Cam are more about his intellect. It's blatant racism, some of it," Moon told the website.



Moon became Newton's adviser after the quarterback's father, Cecil, reached out to see if he would train his son. Moon steered the Newtons to George Whitfield instead, but agreed to mentor Cam.

"I'm actually more of a consultant and adviser to the family, and a mentor to Cam as he makes this transition," Moon told the News Tribune of Tacoma, Wash., last month.

At the combine in Indianapolis last month, Newton read a prepared statement to try to clarify a comment he made in which he described himself as "not only as a football player, but an entertainer and icon."

Newton explained where his focus will be in the future, and later said that he was at fault for being unclear.

"First and foremost, I understand that my obligation is to be the best possible football player I can be," he said. "I know and believe that."

Controversy is nothing new for Newton.

The NCAA ruled in December that Newton was unaware of the pay-for-play scheme involving his father and the owner of a scouting service. Cecil Newton and Kenny Rogers -- a former Mississippi State player who worked for an agent -- sought money for the quarterback to play for the Bulldogs.

He was arrested while attending Florida in November 2008 for having a stolen laptop. The charges were later dropped when he completed a pretrial intervention program for first-time offenders.

Newton has met with or is scheduled to meet with nine teams ahead of the NFL draft, which will be held April 28-30. Those teams, his agent, Tony Paige, told The Associated Press, are: Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans, Washington Redskins, Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins.

Moon said that all teams have to do is watch tape of Newton and spend time with the Heisman Trophy winner to know he's not "fake."

"You can't be fake and win a national championship," Moon told the website. "The players will see through it. He's won at every level. He took that Auburn team to the national title and that team wasn't as talented as some other teams in the SEC."

I would think at some level, the league hs methods of applying pressure on teams to draft a black qb as high as possible. We don't know what those pressures are, but I'm sure it exists. I'm one of the people who want Newton to go high because I think he is a bust. A highly visible black bust will bring about changes in the league, whereas a black guy who was drafted lower wouldn't be as helpful to our cause.

NFL Network's Albert Breer has joined the Charlotte Observer and ESPN's Adam Schefter in predicting Auburn QB Cam Newton will be the first overall pick in the draft to Carolina.
Some support for Blaine Gabbert surfaced immediately after the Missouri Pro Day, but that was expected and has since died down. Despite draftniks' concerns about Newton, the Charlotte Observer has insisted over and over that he's the favorite to land with the Panthers. Ron Rivera's team claims it won't make a final decision on the No. 1 overall pick until the week of the draft.

i wholeheartedly agree, JaMarcus Russell is a prime example of that, and, to certain extent, so is Vince Young.
 
White people doing anything = raysis according to Moon and the rest of our enemies. I would like to see Newton fall big time, but I'd rather him not be considered starting NFL QB material in the first place. Moon is nothing but a race hustler, no different than Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson, or Morris Dees for that matter.
 
Lots of blacks play the race card when it comes to pushing for more blacks in employment positions where the top whites usually outperform blacks in (mathematical sciences etc.). Most blacks are for AA.

I have seen a good number of blacks though, that are fairer evaluating whites in areas where blacks have inflated numbers (RB for instance) than whites are. The black judges gave a fair shake to Jacob Tucker as well. I see very few blacks in between. They either are like Taylor Bell or other black writers/ analysts that stand up for white athletes or they are haters like Keilyn Ellis or Desi Cortez.

I have been seeing less black coaches stand up for white athletes lately though. Dungy was pretty good for an NFL coach as well as Jim Caldwell. The two in college that seem more fair than a typical coach are Turner Gill and Willie Taggert. Most of the black coaches are pro-black OR are too cowardly to risk being cast by the inner city blacks on the team as Uncle Toms which could cause locker room dissent.

As far as in Hockey, Golf, Swimming or playing QB or kicker/punter for a football team about the only blacks that don't favour blacks are Alan Keyes and Clarence Thomas. That's a small exaggeration. What I'm trying to say is blacks like this are very rare.

It's about time the intelligent blacks out there wake up and realize that now that a black man has risen to the highest office in America that white people are getting tired of still hearing about all the supposed "atrocities" being committed against blacks by "whitey", we are sick of entitlements and the race card. If the smart blacks like Bill Cosby, Taylor Bell and the various black analysts that I heard plug Jimmer Fredette as player of the year and black "community organizers" don't get a hold of the ultra Afro-centrism in the black community it's going to back fire on blacks b/c us whites are starting to fight back on our own.

It's time we stop worrying about being called "racist" by the true racists, it's time we stop the white guilt and stand up for the truth. We must defend our people and culture from discrimination! Sure 9 of the top 12 H.S QBs are black according to ESPN and there was one white WR in the top 100 according to whiterivals (none in the top 75) and zero white tailbacks in the top 50, but sports are racist against blacks LMFAO. Racists like Warren Moon won't be satisfied until the whole NFL is 100% black. He's a pathetic small minded bigot.
 
Moon has played the race card for about the 1 trillionth time. It gets more tired each time and I think you can see that other media are tiring of it too. Previously this sort of proclamation would have been met by a supporting chorus of cheers and stories and grandstanding over how true it all is supposed to be. This time is was let to pass mostly and I hope soon will be met with the derision it deserves.

It should be a very big concern of an NFL team to avoid a Jamarcus type situation. I'm sure there are still teams that stupid but there are less of them.
 
Moon is probably the most over hyped quarterback of all time. He's the best black quarterback ever but that's not saying much. I could name twenty white qb's in the league right now who are better than him. Moon really needs to grow up with this race card stuff.

One type of what is called "internet fraud" has to do with conducting commerce online and indentities being stolen, bank accounts hacked, credit card numbers used for theft, etc. Another use of that term should apply to those ubiquitous articles most of us have been forwarded via e-mail many times over by various friends and correspondents. Quotes, statements, and speeches are falsely attributed to Bill Cosby, Andy Rooney, Ted Nugent, actor Michael Richards, and others.

I know Bill Cosby is legitimately indentified withh a couple semi-sensible statements about black dysfunction. There is video proof of that. But much of what is attributed to Cosby simply did not come from him. Moreover, Bill Cosby is a liberal-integrationist who had a decades-long friendship with top Communist Party official Herbert Apthekar. Cosby is not a "good guy."

It's time we stop worring about being labeled "racist," period.No matter by whom. Calling someone else the "true racists" surrenders the moral high ground to the people who demonize race-consciousness in the first place. What does "racist" mean? Is it the same as "bigot?" I think not. Racist is someone who recognizes that there are racial differences, and that they actually mean something (beyond the usual stupid platitudes about "skin color"...).

If Warren Moon is a "racist," I salute him. Let him wear it on his sleeve! White men do not need his praise or approval. I FAR prefer this type of black to the ones who want to integrate with us.

As I understand it, imploring someone to "stop using the 'race card'" is analagous to saying "no, we don't recognize race and we accept liberal/egalitarian dogma."

What if Moon and others stopped using the "race card?" What is the goal here? To vindicate King's dream? (Not Marxist Looter King, RODNEY King, who implored "Can't we all just get along?")

The issue is that blacks always use their race as an advantage. Moon saying that Newton faces more scrutiny because he's black does a few things. First it brainwashes the DWF's even more than they already are brainwashed. Secondly it will give Newton countless years to try and become the next black hope at quarterback. Do we really need to listen to his nonsense?
