Mike Shanahan says Cousins will have an excellent career in the league.
Everyone knows Shanahan never wanted the gremlin as his qb.

It's a crying shame that Cousins isn't the starter.I think he'd be great and would be a tremendous leader/spokesman/face of ANY franchise.I liked Cousins a lot coming out of college and was hoping that the Bills would draft him. When he was still on the board in round 3,at pick #69 and that founding father of the Caste movement Old Fuddy Duddy Nix took the useless T.J. Graham instead,I went ballistic !!!! Surprisingly,Nix claimed to like Cousins and even contended that he then attempted to trade back into the third round by offering a 4th and a 5th rounder which the Bills had 2 each of,but found no takers. The Redskins then took Cousins at #102,three slots ahead of the Bills first selection in the 4th round at #105.As usual,if Cousins were of the ******* persuasion,he would've been a top 10 1st rounder !!!

I think the Skins' organization is starting Griffin to save face. Let it get about a few times a game into the season where RG does his normal tanking, and Cousins will be in there. They'll have no choice, no matter how painfully un-PC it will be.

Who would’ve thought that RGIII, former 2nd overall pick, would only appear in 37 total games for the Redskins when only 2 year ago he was dubbed a “saviorâ€￾ and made into the face of the NFL after an undeniably-good rookie campaign? Will he now be released? If so, will any team dare to sign the fragile locker room cancer? There are very, very few black QB’s who’ve been jettisoned so quickly in NFL history. A shocking embaressemnt for the Caste System, indeed…

Yeah, saw it on the screen crawl while watching Tyrod Taylor and the Bills. Wasn't R.G. Griffith the Third just proclaiming he was the best QB in the NFL a couple weeks ago?

He should demand to traded! Or, barring that, waived!

The only comparable failure I can think of is Josh Freeman, a first round pick who had an excellent second season before falling into moron mode. But a lot more was invested in Griffin to be sure.

Don I'LL top that. JaMarcus Russell of the Raiders. I think he received a 30 million dollar bonus. I think he lasted 3 yrs. But he sucked from the get go. He is an all time 1st round bust in the history of the league.

A lot have sucked from the get-go but yeh DuhMarcus was in a class of his own along with Akili Smiff.

Duante Culpepper was another one who had initial success but quickly faded. After all these years and all these black QBs, Warren Moon remains the only one who had staying power the way great White QBs routinely do.

Just to be nice, Donovan McFlabb was also a serviceable QB for a number of years with the Eagles. Not great, but the equivalent to an average white journeyman QB. Of course, when we bring up RG3, Akili Smiff, Russell, Geno Smiff, EJ Manuel, Freeman, etc. etc. the DWFs all trot out "Ryan Leaf!" as the perennial punching bag.

Here's one of those TMZ articles that you're not sure if you can believe, but it sounds plausible. Many Redskins players are thrilled that Cousins will be starting and that the Gremlin is benched:

[h=4]Teammates Applaud Benching[/h] [h=3]'Now We Can Start Winning'[/h] [h=5]8/31/2015 12:05 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF[/h] EXCLUSIVE

Several members of the Washington Redskins tell TMZ Sports ... they're PUMPED the team is benching RG3 ... with one player saying, "Now we can start winning games."
We spoke with a handful of Redskins players -- all of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity -- and they were all on the same page ... they've been wanting the move for a while.
One player told us, "We're relieved. This is good for the team."
Another player was more blunt ... saying, "We have a better chance of winning with [Kirk Cousins] than Robert Griffin. Sometimes teams need a change and we obviously did."
Even the defense is excited -- with one starter saying, "The team is excited with the change. We are all looking forward to Kirk leading us this season."
As for Griffin, one player tells us it's not personal, it's just business -- "Robert is a professional. He will be ready when his number is called."

Considering the Blackskins are 85% black, Griffin must be a truly pathetic loser on and off the field for his teammates to hate him to the point that there was speculation that the o-line deliberately let him get crushed in preseason games.

Guys stop talking about the Gremlin in my Kirk Cousins thread. Sometimes it seems like this place is more interested in black players than white. :(

Back on topic, this is a great chance for Cousins to prove everyone wrong and set himself up for a huge payday next season, when he will be a free agent. The DWFs are already talking about how many wins he "needs" to prove himself, but that's nonsense. This team is garbage. We have huge gaps in talent, thanks to fifteen years of idiotic meddling from our DJF (not DWF, as a poster in another thread called him) owner. The decision makers in the NFL will judge him on how he plays, not how dreadful our defense and special teams are.

Interceptions are often used to malign White quarterbacks who aren't afraid to throw the ball down the field. Sure, Cousins could throw 5 yard passes all game like many black QBs (and Alex Smith) and have hardly any picks, but so what? Some interceptions are unavoidable in any offense that tries to push the ball down the field, the key is whether they can be limited over time, i.e., knowing when to throw the ball away instead of trying to hit a receiver who is being closely guarded by two defenders. Cousins has shown enough that he should get a shot at being a starter, whether in Washington or somewhere else.

Sad,but true. The Caste Clowns,Marxist Media Mavens, and DWFs are surely aware that all-time greats like Peyton Manning and Brett Favre threw their fair share of INTs early on.Jim Kelly frequently throughout his Hall Of Fame career threw interceptions on the deep post and even threw 3 picks in the 1st quarter of a MNF game against the Bengals when he was in his prime.Of course Jimbo then righted the ship by throwing 5 TDs in the very same game.I remember Cousins having a few games last season before they benched him that reminded me of Jim Kelly multiple TD/INT games.

Your point about the type of/reasons for INTs is an excellent one.The only black quarterback I've ever seen in my lifetime that was even remotely worth a damn was Warren Moon. That being said, the main reason why Moon was never able to take a half a dozen immensely talented Oilers teams to the promised land was his penchant for throwing bad passes(which frequently lead to INTs)at the most inoppurtune times.Yes,even the best black quarterback of all time had subpar decision making skills. The famous Bills comeback would've never happened were it not for Moon's blunders.Ebony Jenkum Manuel has also thrown some of the most ridiculous INTs I have ever seen in his brief career(J.J. Watt, anybody ????)as well as having more than 10 "should've been" picks dropped due to the defensive players not even expecting the ball to ever be thrown were he decided to heave it.

Maybe George Orwell would say all INTs are created equal, but some are more equal than others.

Considering the Blackskins are 85% black, Griffin must be a truly pathetic loser on and off the field for his teammates to hate him to the point that there was speculation that the o-line deliberately let him get crushed in preseason games.

The other day on ESPN radio, former Steelers/Redskins safety, Ryan Clark, told “Mike and Mikeâ€￾ that RGIII “doesn’t have meaningful locker room relationships.â€￾

http://blacksportsonline.com/home/2015/08/ryan-clark-on-rg3-not-having-good-friends-on-redskins/

Two different head coaches have loathed him to the point of benching. His offensive lineman allegedly tried to intentionally injure him. He purportedly has no friendships on the team. He’s produced an endless collection of blunders via the press and social media.

Should be interesting to see where he ends up, because he’s got zero chance of remaining on the Redskins roster as the 3rd QB…

If Kick can cut down on his turnovers it should be his job the whole year. Hopefully he has a good year.

(I wasn't able to directly quote Thrashen's post or photo).. but that's a helluva duo.. Jared and Robert Griffin. Subway scored a coup with those castings. I've read that Subway's sales multiplied during the years Jared was their spokes-pervert, but I hated the sales pitch. They scooped a slob off the street (who was a documented junk food junkie), and heralded his new & improved monotonous fast food diet. Pitch was probably successful cuz it appealed to a lazy 'Murican public. Forget home cooking, significant servings of fresh fruits etc; just eat the same fast food garbage daily and miraculously get lean. I haven't patronized a Subway in years, but noticed they always seemed to have a calculated favoritism for East Indian franchisees also (?)

Griffin was signed & heralded by Subway before the guy ever took a professional, regular season snap.. it was lame corporate hysteria. As far as Cousins, looking forward to his season, I'll be watchin' tonight. Washington is a bad franchise right now, but hopefully they get Cousins and Alfred Morris moving their offense..

He must be a rubbish person to work with as a team mate and to be coached, for everyone to turn on him. I guess he just believed his own hype like so many do when the DWFs and media fall in love wth you.

Just more evidence that the the almost always black athletic qb with poor pocket passer ability doesn't work in the nfl.

Hopefully Cousins will get a chance to play an extended time, not just here and there. In this way he can develop and improve his game.

Kirk Cousins with a great game today. 3 TDs and over 300 yards early in the 3rd quarter and he's not done yet..

Cousins has been the starter all year. This has given him an opportunity to develop. The results of this opportunity to develop are showing in today's game.

I think we'll see many more quality games from Cousins in the future. He looks as if he could develop into a franchise quarterback.

Former Redskins coach Mike Shanahan has made numerous positive comments about Kirk Cousins over the years. Shanahan has a history of being a successful NFL coach and won two Super Bowls with The Denver Broncos with quarterback John Elway at the helm.

At various times Shanahan has made the following comments about Cousins. He said he thought Cousins was one of the best players in the 2012 draft and was a first round talent. He said Cousins had a great future. He said Cousins was a quarterback you could win a Super Bowl with. He said Cousins was a franchise quarterback. He said Cousins would be a top 10 quarterback in the NFL and there was no doubt about it.

Shanahan is a football man who knows what he's talking about. His judgement on Kirk Cousins should be given great credence.

Kirk Cousins with a great day today against the Giants as the Redskins win to take over first place.

Cousins was 20 out of 29 for 302 yards, had a 69% completion percentage and a 114.4 quarterback rating.

Looks as if the Redskins have found themselves a franchise quarterback.

Yeah, and his good performance included a beautiful long TD to D. Jackson. Not only can Cousins stretch the field, but he's accurate in the shorter passing game. I was comparing stats last night, only Romo and Rivers are starting QBs w/higher completion %s, and all 3 are completing 68+%. Also noticed GEICO giving Cousins love in a commercial during the subsequent Steeler game (citing his pass to Jackson as the play of the day).

Comparing Cousins to his peers, say QBs in the league roughly 4 seasons (or less), there aren't many I'd take over Kirk right now. I'd take Kirk over Geno Smith, Manuel, Blaine Gabbert, RG Knee, Kaepernick, Bridgewater, etc. I'd still want Luck (because even w/his struggles I believe he has a higher ceiling than Cousins, but..). I love Foles, but as of late November '15, Cousins is playing better. Truth is, during Washington's game vs. the Pats, Cousins' receivers were dropping balls the whole game. They weren't hard to handle fastballs either. Without that Sunday, Cousins might have highest completion % in the league.

I was perusing some sites for news about Kirk Cousins. I read some of the comments.

Some of the commenters still think Robert Griffin should be starting. A lot of them blame Mike Shanahan for Griffin's failure as a quarterback.

Blaming Shanahan instead of Griffin for Griffin's failure as a quarterback is typical of many people in America. They won't criticize a black for anything, no matter what. It's always a white man's fault in their minds because in their minds blacks can do no wrong.

Never being criticized or being held accountable for anything is part of black privilege.
